Fandom Avatar: Cult of Fusion (opened)

For countless generations, the Avatar was able to control the four elements of nature, and serve as the bridge between the Physical and Spirit Worlds. But there was once an Avatar who once went into the spirit world, an evil spirit escapes to the physical world and possess their body. With the Avatar's power, the spirit caused a river of destruction. Knowing there was no other way to save everyone, the Avatar is forced to destroy their body in order to stop the spirit.

To avoid another possible catastrophic event occuring in history once again, a new organization was fomed that practiced spirit fusion, being able to absorb them, and not only survive it, but enhance their own bending to greater heights. This order was meant to stop the Avatar if they were ever to step out of line. But when there seemed to be signs of corruption within th cult, they were forced to disband, with their studies and findings burned to ashes.


This rp takes place in alternate universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender, at a time equivalent to 5AAG ( After Air Nomad Genocide). Here, the Avatar has been recently discovered and is currently training in the four elements, but currently having a weak spiritual connection. It will be soon discovered that the Avatar must resolve this problem as soon as possible, for their past lives seem to be trying to warn them of a disaster that is soon to come.


A few things important for this RP

*The Air Genocide and 100 year war never happened.
*This is, again, an AU, so most major canon characters don't exist. But important backround(ish) characters do exist and may be used (Raava, Vaatu, and some of the Avatars that preceed Avatar Aang).
*As of now, the only "role" available is the Avatar (which is now taken), but other roles may become available in the future. For now, other players may join as allies of the Avatar. I will make a CS once I have at least 3 interested (and an Avatar), but I will still take more.
