You and seven others have decided to road trip around the country for gap year.


A road trip filled with romance, drama and a cat fight or two.


Who will make it out alive?

Clara packed all her belongings into her suitcase and wandered down the stairs to her combi. She waved goodbye to her mother and drove down to pick up Luna.

"Take care of yourself, don't get hurt, look out for your friends.." Camilla was listing the usual, Luna sighed drowning out her mother's voice. She quickly checked through her bags to make sure she had everything.


"Call me when you get there.." The list was endless. Luna put her rucksack on her back and turned to her mum.


"I'll be fine, no se preocupe(do not worry)." Luna reassured Camilla with a hug as she saw Clara park outside. "I've got to go now te amo." She opened the door and walked outside, dragging her suitcase with wheels along the floor, towards Clara's car waving to Camilla as she did so.

Steph waited at the meeting spot with his suitcase next to him and a backpack on his back. He was both excited and worried about the trip, it was a while since he had been with his friends. Yet for him it might be the last time and he wasn't looking forward to explain that and his absence. He wished he didn't have to bit his friends were not fools, especially Luna and seeing her would expect difficult.


As he waited, he felt his hand tremble. He looked at it and sighed sadly, reaching for his back and opened compartment filled with pI'll bottles. His father took over chances with Steph during the trip, not being able to prevent Steph from going he made him bring every pill that was prescriped to Steph. Steph felt sorry for his father, he saw Steph mother go through the same illness and as Steph and it almost destroyed him when she passed.


Steph eventually found his pills and took two. When he heard the sound of a car approach, he quickly went to hide the pills.

Kendall finished packing the rest of her things, grabbing her phone and Bluetooth speaker. She watched as her fluffy black cat rolled over onto it's back and gave a little meow. "Gonna miss me, Bitch?" She gave her cat a little rub and kissed it's head before her brother came knocking on the door. "II tutto racchiuso in su?" (All packed up?) Kendall turned to face him with her bag in hand and phone in the other. She nodded and gave a brisk smile, not really saying much as he moved out of from the doorway. Not everything was always like this for the two, but Kendall was always this silent when they spoke, if they spoke. Kendall left the house and began walking down the driveway, grabbing her longboard on the way down.

Clara got out of the drivers seat and strolled over to Luna. Picking up her suitcase she gave her a one armed hug. "Hey Luna! Your first on the pickup list so you get shotgun!" She smiled and shoved Luna's stuff in the back.

Luna passed over her bags before getting pulled into a hug. "Hi Clara." She replied with a smile. "If I get shotgun I'm sitting in the passenger seat so I can have some control over the radio." She giggled as she open the door and climbed into the car, she gave her worried mom one last wave before turning to Clara. "So who's next?" She asked while putting on her seatbelt.

"I think we'll go for Steph, Kendall and Neno won't mind waiting an extra 15 minutes." She smiled. "So let's get going!" She hopped into the drivers seat and started the engine.

"Okay." Luna nodded but there was a flash of sadness in her eyes, it still hurt seeing Steph. She rolled down the window to blow a kiss to her mum before the car drove off.

Kendall hummed softly to her favorite song off her Spotify playlist, leaning back against a tree by the road. She hadn't been waiting long, but she was already starting to doze off. Music and nature. Cheesy, yes, but it really leaves a toll on how you feel after a little nap. Kendall sighed softly and began playing with a three leaf clover, hoping her friends would be here soon.

Steph finally felt his hand stop shaking but what followed was sudden feeling of light handedness. He felt his legs start to buckle needing to reach out to a nearby lamp post to steady himself. The world started to spin which made him reach.

Clara revved the engine and headed off to pick up Steph. She pulled over to see him lying against a lamp post and, thinking he was sleeping, honked the horn twice before getting out of the car.

The dizzy spell was just passing as the car arrived. He gathered himself and managed to get into the car with a little effort. He turned to the others and forced a smile, still looking a bit pale. "Hey girl, been a while."He said trying not to make eye contact with Luna.

"Well, thanks." Clara muttered as Steph got into the car. "Leave me to lug the bags over." She dragged Stephs bags and shoved them in the back before hopping back into the car. "Next, to Kendall!" She yelled valiantly before driving off.

"Sorry Clara... Feeling a a bit off today. Brain no working no well." He said trying to make a joke of it, thought he kicked himself for forgetting his bags." So how have you girls been?"

Neno saw the car as she was walking down to the pick up point, she was late, as usual, she picked up her pace, lugging her bags behind her, "guy wait" she called a few meters away.

Clara saw Neno in the rear view mirror and slammed on the brake. "Sorry Steph, Nenos behind us." She opened the door and hopped out. "Neno... Really? Could have told us you were gonna be here." She picked up her bags and shoved them in the back.

She shrugged, "I get told one thing, then another" she grumbled, "just be glad I got here" she slipped in, a little embarrassed about her timing, "I was meaning to say something" she bit her lip, "sorry" she squeaked.

"It's fine,we were going to pick you up from your house anyway." She hopped back in the driver seat. "Well, hop in! Steph, you know Neno right?" She asked before starting the engine.

"No problem." He replied and fell silent until Neno came in. " I believe so, spoken a couple of times right?"

Luna sat quietly in the front as Steph came in the car avoiding looking at him. "I've been alright.." She said quietly but really she hadn't she had been confused and upset for the past couple weeks, but she wasn't going to show it.


She giggled as the brunette got into the car. "Hey Neno!" She said as she turned around in the passanger seat to smile at her, still avoiding eye contact with Steph. "Late as usual." She said playfully before turning back to the front. "Kendall next right?" She asked Clara.

"Yea, so KENDALL HERE WE COME!" She said as they drove down the street and stopped right in front of where Kendall was. Seeing that she WAS asleep Clara honked the horn twice and hopped out, picking up Kendall's bags and shoving them in the back.

He stole a quick glance at Luna and sighed. She looked pretty in her outfit and brought back a need for her he long ago try to bury. It was for the best he told himself, she didnt need him to make her worry or sadden or however she will react. She has been through it enough already. He smiled at the mention of Kendal and laughed at Clara honking at her. "Nice to see, Ken, that you are so keen on coming."

Neno waved at everyone with a smile, she had met everyone before, but her nerves always got to her, upon reaching Kendall's house, neno had made herself comfy in the back, her legs crossed under her. "I can't wait to get working on my tan" she spoke as she ran her hand along her right arm.

Kendall jumped as Clara honked the horn and gave her a hard stare as she threw her bags into the back. She groaned under her breath before jumping in. The tension was real. Kendall could feel it, but just ignored it. She climbed into the back and got herself situated in a comfortable position, crossing her legs in some yoga pose. Kendall couldn't help but watch as Neno rubbed her arm. "You look fine to me." Ah, that was pretty lifeless. "At least you don't look like you're related to Casper the ghost."
