Ken opened his mouth to say something but he went silent. "........ I want that drawing back." He said before he placed his hands in his pocket and sat down on the chair. Taking a small breath he leaned back and looked forward as he tried to think of what as going on, though he had to admit this was interesting to say the least. 'I guess they wish to silence me somehow since I overheard them.' He thought letting out a small laugh as he shook his head remaining silent still. 'I'm hurt that they think I'm a blabbermouth, geez I'm really underestimated.... But the girl... Vampire queen I think.... She can see it? How much? Or is that just a guess she is making?' He wondered as he stopped laughing and kept his gaze in front of him.

"Not our fault and I barely know him, if Luna hadn't saved me I would have been killed" Richard says and he adds "And that guy doesn't work with teams, I read his file, almost only bad stuff in there, if he wants to earn trust he should open up to others".

Ritzia was about to put a hand on Ken's head but stopped and looked at Richard " so your saying that if Ken's file was Luna's or anyone's else's file you guys would treat that person the exact same way?" She asked him " it's not him that need to trust people. It's you guys that need to trust him" She then looked Ken " i can see why you treat the way you do with people now..." she said to him softly as she gave the paper back to him " and nice house by the way"

Ken looked at rather surprised at her words, it had been a long time since someone spoke to him in this way. Sure Elena was trying to be nice, but she was also saying it was his fault for not trusting others completely...so this, this was really new to him. Taking the paper slowly he shook his head as he tried to register what she just said. When he got it a smile went on his face and he nodded. "Thanks... It's one of my many drawings." He said with a small sigh. "....... What are you planning to do? I doubt you plan to kill me, but at the same time it seems you are worried about what I heard being broadcasted to the public... I could promise that would never happen. But you won't believe me will you?"

"No, but he needs to open up, Levi came from the underground, lost his two best friends to the Titans, but he's not treating everyone like trash, also Ken, you were never meant to hear it, she's going to erase your memory of it, because I still don't trust you" Richard says and he sighs "Ritzia, my point is that he doesn't even try to open us, besides, from what I've seen he's a rather good fighter, but you won't survive with only that, people with a bad past doesn't mean you have to shut yourself out from everyone".

Ritzia rolled her eyes at Richard " this is why we stopped dating, you just always have to be right about everything. Ken isn't Levi and sure as hell didn't grow up in the same environment as him either. If you want him to open up, you guys need to trust him. If you guys don't trust him, then why should Ken open up? I sure wouldn't. I am pretty sure anyone else wouldn't either" She said crossing her arms " and I changed my mind about erasing his memories. He can keep them" she said looking at her nails " because I trust him" she said to Richard. "Plus he isn't that stupid to give away sensitive information." She said to him.

Ken blinked at this and a smile went on his face as he relaxed a little more. "I never caught your name, but I like you." He said honestly as he took his hands out of his pockets. He then looked at Richard with a calm smile. "Don't worry I'm a professional my lips are sealed." He said his eyes going back vampire. "Glad to see someone doesn't think I'm a complete idiot." He said with a sigh honestly surprised about all of this. ".... You seriously aren't getting rid of my memories? Or are you putting me in a false sense of security before you actually do?" He asked in a pretty nonchalant tone.

"He's pushing everyone away" Richard says and he sighs "I don't trust him, Erwin does, or he would have been out of the Survey Corps, but I'm sure it's only because's he's strong", he opens the door of his office "Oh yeah Ken, if I find out you tell anyone, I'll kill you and Ritzia, I can't see memories of people, so how am I suppose to know everything?", he didn't like how this turned out and he would tell Erwin and Levi that Ken knew, "One more thing, I don't think you're an idiot, you're just annoying, try opening up and I might start trusting you".

Ritzia rolled her eyes " even if I didn't see his memories, I would have talked to him out of sheer curiousity." She giggled " you know me, keep bothering people until they talk" she said to him. Nox moved out of the way for Richard. " oh and Richy don't tell Levi I am his mom. I want to surprise him"


Ritzia then looked at Ken " and no I am not lieing, since there is no point in lying to you. If I wanted to erase your memories I would have done it" she said to him and patted his head " oh and I am Ritzia" she said with a smile.

Erzathen heard some footsteps and looked to her left, spotting a Titan. She took out one her flares and shot it in the air. Levi looked up to see a flare, he took out his and shot it in the air.

Luna sees the flare and she sees Victoria panicking "Don't worry, I'll jump in the way if it's heading for you" she says and smiles, "Not working..." Victoria mumbles, she was terrified, what if it came to Levi's squad, she wouldn't be able to fight it.


Richard sighs "I never got a chance too, Erwin's not letting me rest until I got past a huge pile of work" he says and adds "So talking to others is out of questions, besides, I'm not one to begin a conversation, you of all people should know that", he walks of and says "No promises", he was tired, since he still had nightmares about the time he was tortured and the nightmares only became worse each night.

Ken didn't truly care to be touched but he allowed it before standing up. "Ritzia... Interesting and nice name." He said before looking over at Richard. "How about this. I'll let you ask me one thing about my past and I will answer it with complete truth... I don't know how to get people to trust me. So this will have to be a start. You can pass it by of course and learn about me through lies I don't really care." He said before looking back at the vampire. "Ken Tanaka. Might as well tell you my name in person, so I can't be scolded for not introducing myself."

Richard waves him off "Maybe later, I'm tired, I don't sleep that good, must be a spell they put on me or something" he mumbles the part about the spell and thinks for a while "But I have work to do at the moment, I'm heading to town to get some new clothes"

Ritzia looked at Ken and could help herself but hug him " you are so adorable!!" She squeaked. Nox went over and pryed the the Queen of him " sorry about her she can be a hand full" he said and Ritzia pouted " hey! I am not a handful!" She said and looked at Richard hearing about the spell "I can get some over to break it you know" she said to him as she walked over and can i come along? I wanna see some of thr new clothes they have" she said excitedly.

She left most the sensitivend memories out and looked st thr ones he didn't mind other people knowing. If she want to know everything she would just need a drop of his blood.))

Ken body went completely stiff when he was hugged and didn't say a thing till she was taken off. Shaking his head he let out a chuckle. "It's fine." He said simply as he watched her leave. "Well I have things to do and trouble to cause... Later." With that he left and soon returned to the infirmary where Elena was at. "Back. Anyway ready to go?"

Luna sighs, she had a very bad feeling, but of course she wouldn't say anything about it, that wasn't like her. Victoria grips the reigns of her horse to stop her hands from shaking and she tries not to look scared.


Richard nods "Sure" he says and rubs his eyes, the lack of sleep was catching up on him "And I'm not sure if it is one" he says and holds back a yawns. "And I'll be back for that question later" he says looking at Ken.


Elena looks at him and she nods slightly, she gets up and stumbles a bit "Stupid dizziness" she mumbles and smiles at Ken "Let's go".

Ken smirked at this. "Got it... Only one question." He reminded Richard before moving over to Elena. He was about to say something but decided not to. "Okay, if you start to feel sick tell me and we'll come right back." He said as he turned on his heel and started to lead the way out of HQ. 'Glad my memory wasn't erased...would have been a pain for me to decipher my code.' He thought with a small sigh.

Ritzia tilted her head " let me check if it's a spell" she said to him " I don't like seeing you like this..." she said to him as she got in front of him, sure she argues with him and she thinks he is a stiff and an idiot at times but she didn't hate him and see him as a friend. She puts a hand on his chest and let out a small wave of energy to see if there was a spell on him.

" stay calm and take a deep breath" Petra sad to her. Erza on the hand was keeping an eye on the Titan as she was getting closer and closer.

"Easier said than done" Victoria says and Luna says "Relax, we're with you and if things go wrong we'll send you away with Eren", she was sure neither of them would agree to that, but they wouldn't have another choice if they came close to getting killed.


"Sure you don't" Richard says and he sighs, he really hated most vampires, and he was sure he would head to the forest of werewolves if they did put a spell on him, he was on the verge of collapsing.


Elena nods slightly "Don't want too fast" she says, she was still limping a little bit, she catches up with him and she says "If we're at my family's cafe we can get some rest".

Ken slowed in his steps and was walking next to Elena. "If you need a shoulder to lean on you can use mine, you are limping." He stated as he left the HQ. "I don't know where the café is so you are going to have to lead the way." He said calmly as he looked at her.

Luna nods slightly "Sure" she says and stretches, she hadn't gotten much sleep as she had been working on her mechanic bird most of the time, but she'd live through the expedition. Victoria looks at Levi "But we can't leave you alone, what if you guys are killed?" she asks and Luna has to hold in her laugh "Someone killing Levi, the day that happens is the day that person achieved the impossible" she says.


"Right now I'm tired and in case you hadn't noticed yet... I didn't have a very good experience with vampires, but I can't blame it on you, I suppose it's just everything added up" Richard says and he adds "I know you care about me"


Elena nods "Well my leg hasn't healed yet, so of course I'm limping" she says and says "But I'll be fine on my own".

"I wasn't trying to be sarcastic.... But okay if you don't want help." Ken said as he looked around pretty much following Elena since he wasn't sure which café she was talking about. He may know the streets like the back of his hand but if he didn't know the destination then he can't really get anywhere.

Petra nodded in agreement with Luna " the impossible" Levi sighed a little " Victoria don't worry about me, just focus on not getting hurt. And you to stiff, relax your muscles" he said to her not looking at her.

Ritzia sniffed a little and rubbed her eyes "then get some sleep. You need your rest..." she said to him and took out a charm from her pocket. She put it in his pocket " it's a sleep charm. I had Kairi make it for me, since I use to have nightmares as well" she said to him. " and since you have no spell on you it should work"

Victoria looks at him "But... I can't, I'm too scared" she admits and Luna says "No need to be scared, you've gotten better and we're here with you", Victoria look at the girl behind her "How can you be so calm when this is your first expedition? And this my second one" she asks.


Richard nods and says "And with Erwin giving me tons of work I can't rest that much, I changed my office a little, but it's a little bare at the moment, I burned all the pictures I had taken with Luana and I don't have any pictured with Luna, never got time for it anyway."


Elena points to a rather busy cafe in the middle of the street and she smiles slightly "There it is" she says and pulls him over "Seems my grandpa is in the kitchen at the moment" she says and looks down "And please don't ask him about my grandmother, she died of illness a while back"

Ken looked at the place before looking at her. "Got it, my lips are sealed." He said honestly before making his way to the café. "I'm dying for something sweet." He said as he looked at the menu. "That and meat..... I'll get some meat later, but for now... Wow this place has a nice selection."
