"Why not now go talk to Luna about it?" Erza asked Erwin " we have like 30 till we leave" she added before a wolf pup jumped on her head and barked. Erza picked it up and set her down on the ground. 'They are so hyper...'

"There's no way I'll live through this if I take another horse" Luna says and she sighs "I may be good with most animals, but horses... nor so good"


Erwin nods "Wonder what she'll do though" he says, any other horse wouldn't work for Luna, since she had a special bond with Nightmare. Victoria sighs "Does that mean that if she can't go on Nightmare that she won't go?" she asks and looks at her horse, which, conpared to the rest of the horses, wasn't rhat useful outside the walls "I can leave my horse here and take a better trained one"


Elena narrow her eyes "That answer isn't good enough, try again. I asked because I was curious" she says crossing her arms "Now tell the truth", she knew it wasn't the case and they had promised to be honest.

" why don't we go to the stable then? I am pretty sure Erwin is there along with Victoria. Plus we need to get our horses ready" he said to her and pulled her along towards there.

Erza shook her head " no, you need to be on your horse Victoria" she said to the princess. She said and sighed a little.

"I answered truthfully! You asked me while I'm self centered! Which in my opinion I'm not... I prefer to be called independent. But I'm like this because I'm awesome, strong, clever, reliable, quick witted, so yeah I have a lot of confidence in myself and I'm independent because I'm awesome." Ken stated with a grin avoiding the real answer as to why he is seeing as that would lead to more questions that were a bit bothersome. "Hmmmmm Favorite color."

Luna sighs "This is troublesome, I could alwaysngo with my backup plan" she says, but with Victoria and her fear of wolves it wouldn't be that smart.


Victoria smiles at Erza "No one bothered to train my horse after I started staying behind, it would just slow everyone down" she explains. Erwin looks at Erza "At least one mare has to stay behind, but that will most likely be Nightmare" he says, they couldn't take care of Thunder for some time and there was always the danger something could happen.


"I'll ask Alice then" Elena says and she sighs "Green, do you have a crush on someone?" she asks, annoyed she didn't get a real answer, but she'd have to find out the hard way.

Ken chuckled at this. "Alice doesn't know... And I used to but now I don't." He stated with a sigh as he looked at her with a smirk. "What about you? Do you have a crush on someone?""

" you could... but Victoria but that would effect Victoria performance on the field" he said to her and sighed.

Erza thought for a minute and she looked at the wolves and then at Midnight, then at Thunder. " wasnt Luna planning on using wolves if Nightmare wasn't going to go?" She asked. Armin looked at her " yeah, but she most like won't since Victoria is scared" Erza nodded " so... what if Midnight stayed and looked after Thunder? And I ride Shadow? Victoria isn't in my squad for this expedition and Shadow won't try to eat anyone. So it would be fine..."

"I know" Luna saysband she hears what Erza said since they're close to the stables and she goes in "I am not leaving any other horse with Thunder" she says. She looks at Nightmare and walks over "What do you want?" she asks, once her horse moves closer to Thunder she sighs "I suppose I'll risk dying" she says "Nightmare's staying here". Richard enters the stables "It's about time you left" he says and looks at Luna before he gets a plan "Why don't you take my horse?" he asks, he wasn't going on the expedition for sever reason he didn't want to tell. Erwin sighs and looks at the white horse "Well she could, since your horse normally acts the same as Nightmare" he says, Victorria looks down "I-it's fine anyway, as long as that wolf won't eat me it's fine" she mumbles quietly.


Elena shakes her head "Had a crush on someone, but he died a few expeditions ago saving my life" she says and thinks for a while, she was running out of good questions "Why do you hate anyone with the power to order others around?"

Ken thought about this one before scratching his head. "Simply because they are all a bunch of humorless bastards that get pissed off if you give them suggestions or if you forget to show them respect." He stated bluntly, not telling her of his past experience. "Are you disappointed that you have to stay here and hang out with me?"

"Well the squad leaders and highers up are like that if they're on an expedition, but some are allowed to call them by their first name, Luna for example. However it's not always like that" Elena says and she thinks for a while "Don't know to be honest, you did open up to me a little bit, so I suppose that's a good thing" she answers and smiles at him "Why did you join the Survey Corps?"

Ken blinked a bit at this and gave her a small smile. "I guess I did....... And to answer you question... Cause I wanna." He said with a grin giving her the same explanation he gave everyone that asked that question. ".... What is the most embarrassing thing you ever did?"

"We promised to be honest, so far you fail to do that" Elena says and she sighs "This is pointless if you're not honest" she mumbles, she than thinks for a while "I suppose that would be when I hit a tree after my gear broke during an expedition and captain Levi has to save me from being killed"

Ken smirked and started to rock back and forth. "I'm being 100% honest. Just because I'm not going into a lot of detail doesn't mean I'm lying." He stated calmly as he looked over to the window. "If I was planning to lie to you I wouldn't be so obscure.... I doubt that makes sense, but you may get it if I ever try to lie to you.... Hehe Not that you would be able to tell."

"Never mind!" Elena says and she lays down pulling the covers over her head "You're not giving me the real answers" she says and tears form in her eyes, but of course Ken couldn't see it "My parents were never honest as well, the only one being completely honest with me are some people here and my grandfather" she says.

Ken let out a sigh as he stretched a bit. "Sorry, but I'm not one to tell others about my personal life." He stated as he moved over to his drawing pad. Opening it up he started to go back to drawing. ".... And being completely honest... Nevermind." He stated as he kept his main focus on his drawing.

"You shouldn't have agreed to do that in first place then" Elena says and she closes her eyes "Life's not fair" she mumbles, no one knew she came from wall Maria, where she lived with her parents, who were part of the Garrison "Nothing's fair anymore" she mumbles.

Ken kept drawing and shrugged at this. "I agreed to the game to know more about you. As for the life not being fair.... I completely and utterly get it." He stated his hand stopping in his drawing for a moment as a small flash back of happier times and terrible times went by his eye. Though he soon shook his head, pushing those thoughts to the back of his mind he went back to drawing.

"Meanie..." Elena mumbles and she sighs, she probably shouldn't trust him too much, she rubs her head, she had a headache since that morning, but now that there was nothing to do she was reminded of it and it wasn't nice.

Ken chuckled a bit and nodded. "Yup." He stated in a slightly happy tone his mind still focusing on the drawing. "..... I'm getting hungry... Maybe I should snag something from the kitchen..."

"Or you ask Alice for some food" Elena says and she sighs "And ask her if she has something for my blasted headache" he says and looks at him "Or I can go myself if you don't want to".

Ken got up and walked to Alice office suddenly barging in. "I'm hungry!" He groaned in a child like manner. "Oh...and Elena has a headache." Alice looked behind her and let out a sigh. "Knock next time... and get back in bed! I told you I don't want you out of bed for a bit longer! You do realize you could die if your wounds open up." She said as she pushed Ken back to the bed. Ken shrugged and climbed back in bed. "Still hungry." "So I heard." Alice walked to the cabinet and took out a few pills. Walking over to Elena she handed her two of them. "here this should help the headache a bit. I'll get you two something to eat, just wait a moment." She said with a kind smile before turning on her heel to get some food.

"Sure" Elena says taking the medicine "You really don't know when to know do you?" she asks looking at Ken, not sure how the Commander copes with that guy "So... do you think that we'll defeat the Titans?" she asks.

Ken was quiet and stopped drawing as he thought about this question. ".... If we keep going as we are... Then no. At the most we can hope for is that we can reclaim wall Maria." He said before looking up at the ceiling. "Have you ever.... Read any of the books before the wall was made? You know the very illegal ones which can land you in a ton of trouble if it's known that you ever possessed one?"

"I have three of them" Elena says and she thinks for a while "And I saw Luna with some very old maps, but those probably aren't at HQ anymore and I have no clue where she lives at the moment" she says.

Ken blinked at this and looked over at her. "Okay that honesty thing is going to land you in trouble. For all you know I'm gathering information to use so I can blackmail you later. And telling me you have not one but three vastly illegal books... That is perfect blackmail."
