"Well you said he was a new guy." Alice said before standing up. "Okay that should do it. I don't want you on that leg for a bit so either you stay here for the night or I can get someone to carry you back to your room, you choice." She said with a smile.

"The only people here are Commander Erwin and Richard, who took his place as second in command again, I always thought Luna's parents were eaten during an expedition some time ago" Elena says thinking for a while "So how is her father alive and well?"

Alice shrugged at the question and went over to Ken. "I tend not to ask those questions, I'm here to make you guys see the next day so I don't know much about family things. Oh and Elena. Ken can't hold his liquor, so if you want to see a nicer side of him and even get a bit about his past I say you should get him drunk. And I guess you plan to stay here then?" She asked as she got a few things so she could treat Ken.

"Yeah" Elena says and she yawns "You wouldn't happen to have spare clothes here would you?" she asks, she didn't sleep that well, so she was tired.

Alice looked at Elena and went over to a near by wardrobe. "Here is just an average night gown I give to patients that stay over night. It's clean and will keep you warm. Ill get you some covers in a moment. Blackend starting to bleed again so I need to take care of that."

" it is strange when you think about it... but if you want to talk to someone about it, you could always talk to me or Eren... I am sure he feels the same way" he said to Luna.

Erza shrugged " i never talked to him, so I can't really say much. And i don't like to go by rumors... but all I can say is that he has issues and he need to sort them out before the expedition"

Luna sighs "I am not talking to Eren, besides, the only one who knows are you, Hanji and dad, Eren would either try to kill me or will never leave me alone" she says looking down "I just don't know what to do".


Victoria nods "Yeah, but will he be on time for the expedition?" she asks and stretches "One person working alone could cause a lot of people to die, we don't want that".


Elena sighs "Thanks, I should have Luna hold a drinking contest with him, he'll lose" she says and changes while asking "Why do you keep calling him Blackend?", she didn't really get it, only she would sit the next expedition out.

Levi put an arm around he waist and pulled her closely to him " don't worry about it. When the time is right m, you will know what to do" he said to her and smiled.

Erza shrugged " if he really wants to go, he should get his act together... if not. Erwin won't let him come." She said to her.

"Change into a Titan and have the Military Police kill me?" Luna asks resting her head on his shoulder "I wish it was that easy, but it will leak if anyone else finds out, how am I going to defend myself in the court? I don't have a reason to stay alive".


Victoria sighs "I doubt he can get his act together by then, but if he got send back he won't be going anyway. Anyone send back won't go on expeditions for some time" she says and looks at Armin "What do you think?"

Alice smiled as she began to work on him. "It's a small inside joke he gets... Though I see no harm in telling you. This one time when he was out practicing with his maneuver gear the idiot fell in a vat of ink! Hahaha It was hilarious! He of course was able to lie his way out of it and hide the fact that ever happened~ But I know after all I was right next to the vat when this went down." She said with a laugh as she kept tending to Ken. "As for the drinking thing, yeah that may work. He is a really light drinking and will get drunk on... I would say his second bottle... Though you should know when he is drunk he is a great guy to hang out with!" She said with a smile as she shook her head.

"Does he ever do anything besides lying?" Elena asks and she sighs "I've never seen him talk to anyone and he seems very disrespectful towards the squad leaders and the commander, I wonder why that is" she says and shivers slightly "I don't think Erwin is planning to let him go on any expeditions if he keeps acting like this".

Alice let out a sigh as she kept patching up Ken. "Shame that he is held back because of that. I have seen him in action once and he is honestly really good... And I'm not saying that because I was scared out of my mind. As for that question... Yeah he has a problem with people who have power of others. A pretty big one which he can't bury or seem to get rid of." Alice stated as she disinfected the wound. "The lying thing is more or less something he does to protect himself, it's more instinct than anything... Though he told me he does it because he gets in trouble for telling people the truth or whatever. Really he can be a nice guy! Honest! The idiot is too scared to open up to anyone so he much rather push everyone away and make them hate him." She said with a sigh.

"But why does he hate people with power over others? I mean, the squad leaders and Commander only want the best for all of us" Elena says and she sneezes, she didn't like the cold and got sick easily during the winter "But what's with the blackmailing, or blaming nobles? Luna is a noble and Victoria is the princess, doesn't he think about others whem doing things?"

Alice smiled and opened her mouth to answer but was cut off. "None of your business." Ken muttered as his eyes fluttered open. "Oh looky Blackends awake." Alice said with a grin as she held his head to check his temperature. "I figured you wouldn't wake for some time..." Ken sighed and looked at the ceiling. "It was a small fight. I've suffered worse. And what's with you blabbing about things that don't matter to you." Alice just rolled her eyes and started to wrap his wounds, making him let out a few hisses of pain.

"Well sorry for wantung to know morr about you!" Elena says and she lays on her side "I care about you, but I suppose I should go back to hating you if that's what you want" she mumbles and looks outside, she'd really have to get him in a drinking contest with Luna. She sighs "Hey doc, I'm still cold" she says glancing at Alice.

Ken scoffed at this but went quiet as he lay there looking at the ceiling.


Alice looked at Elena and smiled. "Oh? Sorry Hun. Here you go." She said as she walked over to a cabinet were she pulled out a blanket which she gave to the girl. "Let's see you are both patched up... Guess I should tell Erwin no one is on their death bed." She hummed with a smile.

"But don't you need some rest as well?" Elena asks covering herself with the blanket, she would probably resign after the expedition, if she came back alive that is, she always came back with some injury she was surprised her grandfather hadn't told her to quit yet.

Alice smiled at Elena. "Thank you for your concern, but I still have to report this to the commander. I'll be getting my rest soon." She said before turning for the door. "You two sleep, and no fighting or anything of that sort, especially you Blackend. If your wound opens up you really could die." She said in a serious and grim voice before smiling again. "Well see you." She said as she left to go make her report.

"So... why do you hate people who have power over others?" Elena asks breaking the silence, she had never been alone in a room with Ken, so it was pretty awkward "Also is it that bad to have just one friend?"

Ken was silent for a good while as he just looked at the ceiling. "That first question is none of your business. As for the friend thing... Yeah it is. I know how it turns out in the end so its just a pain to bother with." He said as he closed his eyes.


Alice walked to the commanders office and quickly filled out the needed form with the needed information and everything. When she arrived she knocked on his door to see if he was there.

Levi sighed a little " you can have the same reason as Eren. To help capture Titans and make is easier to beat them" he said to her.

Armin shrugged " i don't really have an opinion in this" he said to Victoria. " I'd he got send back, it's not like anything can be done" he said to them.

"I could, but still" Luna says "I think the only reason they'll accept is because my knowledge is far beyond them and I can make things no one else can" she mumbles, just because she was so smart was probably the only reason she would stay alive.


Victoria nods slightly "Well, as long as he doesn't get into too much trouble" she says and yawns "So what now?"


Elena rolls her eyes "Deal with it, you have one friend" she says and pulls the blanket better "And that's me" she says and yawns before slowly falling asleep.

Ken looked at her slightly surprised. He stayed silent for a good while before sighing. "What a pain." He muttered as he turned his head away from her, the smallest of smiles playing on his face

Erwin looks up "Sorry, I was busy, enter" he says and hands Richard some papers and he leaves the office swiftly, he was rather busy and he wondered if anyone had gotten send back already.
