"Not yet" Erwin says and he sighs "Though I fear someone will come back here shortly".


Hanji glares at Ken "Show some respect for people who are a rank above you, I could beat you in 5 minutes if I wanted to" she says and adds "You know I really do want to send you back right now, but you get one last chance, disrespect anyone and you're heading back to HQ".

'Disrespect? How did I do that? I didn't say any hurtful words... I only told her the truth. Guess I should have lied off the bat, it's obvious she won't listen to basic reason. I bet if I said this out loud she would have my head and send me to HQ. Also five minutes? Does she think I'm a toothpick cadet? I would put up a fight, it would take more than five minutes to beat me.' He thought before smiling at Hanji. "Understood ma'am." He said calmly as he kept his eyes on her. His voice was calm and it showed no disrespect. "Now then what are your orders?"

" you worry too much" she said to him. She was wondering how that wolf was doing. 'His injuries were small but deep... will take a day of two to heal for a wolf thst size' she thought as she leaned back on her chair for a bit, before going back to work.

"You never listen do you? I said we'll head to the new place first, than I'll tell everyone what they can do" Hanji says, she was getting annoyed "You there cadet" she says and the girl asks "What is it?" "Please tell Ken what happened to the last cadet who disrespected me and refused to believe I could beat him that quickly" Hanji says. The girl looks nervous "Well he was down in under 3 minutes and got killed by a werewolf because he had run away from HQ on a full moon" she says. Hanji looks at Ken "There you have it" she says and walks of.


Erwin looks at Erza "I'm nor worried at all, but there's someone un Hanji's group who has some serious problems" he explains "Not following orders, not showing any respect and manipulating others if he sees fit".

Ken zoned out the cadet and Hanji, he heard what they said, but he simply didn't care. When Hanji walked off he shortly followed. 'That guy wasn't me.' he thought simply as he kept walking with a bored look on his face.


Ryuu looked at the two confused. He then walked up to the girl that spoke. "Hi, I'm the new guy that got transferred from the garrison. Um... Who is that guy and what's up with him?" he asked trying to understand the situation.

" ah.. him" she said with a sigh " i have seen him around. "He didn't seem that happy when I announced the people I pick for my squad" she said ti him " he tried to hide it but I could tell he was very displeased"

"Yeah him, he has been here for a while, but he pushed everyone away, even if they wanted to be his friend" Errwin says with a sighs "He's the worst at teamwork".


The girl looks down and pulls the new guy along so Ken can't hear her "Well, he manipulated everyone at the Military Police to rise in ranks quickly, he eventually moved to the Survey Corps, he doesn't care about anyone and often manipulates others using blackmailing, he thinks he's better then everyone else" she says and looks down "I tried to become his friend, but... he pushed everyone away, I saw that he wasn't all that bad, but over the years that changed".

Ryuu listened to the girl and was surprised at this. "Seriously? Not to sound rude and such, but shouldn't a guy like that be in... You know, jail?" He asked as he glanced at Ken.


Ken didn't hear the two and kept walking shivering just a bit as rubbed his hands together trying to warm himself.

"Commander Erwin gave him a chance, but I think that even the Commander is getting sick of that guy sometimes" the girl says and she sighs, the cold didn't really bother her since she grew up on a mountain. "Say... why did you join the Survey Corps?" she asks.


Hanji sighs "We are not going to make a fire since we don't wanna burn down the entire forest" she says and looks at the others "Here we are, they were standing in front of a huge tree "Ken, looks for leaves we can use as blankets, take those two with you" she says and "You two can look for food" she says looking at Ryuu and the girl "The rest will be here making sure everyone has a place to sleep".

Ken let out the smallest of sighs before he looked at one of the other cadets. "Let's go, think I saw some leaves like that over here." He said with a calming voice as he walked over to where he saw said leaves.


Ryuu gave Hanji a . "Yes Ma'am." He said before looking over at the girl with a friendly smile. "Well shall we? I'm ready to go when you are." .

"Don't act like you're all high and mighty!" one of the boys says and he adds "We're a group so we should work together and discus things together, we're sick of the fact you always act on your own, like we're only in the way". Hanji rubs her head "So troublesome" she whispers and sighs grabbing Ken's jacket and lifting him up without any effort at all "There's a thing called teamwork, learn what it means and use it" she says in a strict voice.


The girl nods "Let's go, I'm Elena by the way" she says and starts walking "I'm sure there should be some berries we can eat high up in the trees" she says and hears some wild wolves in the distance "We better hurry, I don't want to be wolf food". Luna is scouting the area for some berries and she stops hearing the wild wolves, she whistles and one of the wolves she befriended runs over and she gets on "Let's go" she says and it runs of following the wild wolves.

'High and mighty? Act on my own? Think they are in the way? These guys are morons. I was going to show them where I saw the leaves what was wrong with that? Did they want to split up and wander aimlessly till we found something? Why? I knew where they were because I was keeping my eye out as we walked.' He thought as he looked at the two with a blank face. When he was lifted into the air his expression didn't change and he stuffed his hands in his pocket as he kept looking at the cadets pretty much ignoring her. "Fine. I saw leaves perfect for blankets over there. Should we go there?" He asked in a calm and pretty uncaring voice.


"Elena? Nice name." Ryuu complimented before nodding. "Yeah I would prefer not to be their chow either... Let's see where do you think these berries would be located at?" He asked as he looked in the sky trying to see if he could glimpse any nearby berries.

"Well we probably have to climb a few trees until we find them" Elena says and she stops death in her track as she hears howling "A-anyway, we should probably look together" she says and jumps in a tree, she did not want to be on the ground when the wolves found them. Luna looks around "We should have caught up to them by now" she mumbles and another wolf runs over "I go to the tree, Hanji will be in trouble this time of day" she says and she hopes she's not too late.


Hanji shakes him "Oi don't ignore your superior, this is why I hate you" she says and stops shaking him hearing something in the distance "You head back to HQ and ask the Commander for a task, I can't handle this any longer, we're having a trouble with wild wolves on top of this" she says and trows him against a tree before quickly jumping sideways and kicking the wolf with enough force to send it flying. "Still think I can't beat you under five minutes?" she asks.

Ryuu nodded at this and moved to a different tree that wasn't far from Elena's . He climbed that one and looked around. "Are wolves a major problem here?" He asked as he looked down at the ground for a bit before going back to looking for berries.


Ken let out a grunt when he was tossed into the tree. He didn't fall to the ground and remained standing as he watched Hanji beat the wolf with ease. "Squad Leader I promise I didn't ignore you. That is why I asked them if we should go to the area I suggested instead of slipping out of my jacket and going alone. I swear. And I never said anything about me being able to beat you. You are far more experience then me. I would be lucky to survive 30seconds going against you."

(he wouldn't, since all the info is locked safely in Erwin's office and no one else besides the higher ups know it)


"You wouldn't even last a minute against Luna" Hanji says and she sighs, once more wolves start gathering the cadets quickly climb into the tree, but a much larger wolf attacks the wild wolves, Luna lands next to Hanji "You okay?" she asks and Hanji nods "You got cut" she points out and Luna says "It's probably not as bad as my injuries though", she pets the wolf and says "Now scare them away", the wolf chases the smaller wolves away and she sighs "Seriously, I hope you be more careful next time Hanji, you attract touble" she says and gets on the wolf's back "I'm off again", with that she leaves.


Elena nods slightly "Only during the winter though" she says and climbs up easily, getting some berries, "I got some" she says and jumps to another tree, she used the surrounding so that she wouldn't run out of gas quickly during an expedition.

Ken had climbed a tree as well and waited for the wolves to go away. He sat on the branch and watched what was going on carefully. 'How in the hell did she make that wolf attack the others? Does she have some sort of powers?' He wondered as watched Luna leave. 'It doesn't make sense... That wolf should be gutting her like a freshly killed deer, but instead the wolf is pretty much her own trained dog.' When it was clear he jumped down back into the snow and looked around. "Interesting." He said in a calm tone as he looked at the other cadets.


Ryuu didn't find any berries in his tree so he skillfully jumped to another one where he did find some. "I got some here as well. Do you have anything we can use to carry these back to the others? Or can we only take handfuls? I figure putting it in out pocket would just make a huge mess for us."

"I told you didn't I? Luna has a special bond with animals, seems the more dangerous the stronger the bond, I wouldn't be surprised if she could manage to tame a dragon" Hanji says and she sighs "On with the tasks, I wanna have this finished before this evening" he says and jumps in the huge tree to help the cadets tasked with making sure they could sleep in it.


Elena thinks for a while and she jumps down quickly finding a huge leaf "This will do" she says and smiles slightly.


Luna enters the cave they're staying in and she walks in with some water "Wolf trouble" she says as she sits next to Petra who was planning to ask what took so long.

Erza leaned on her chair and looked at the ceiling for a minute "... You I always just see people yelling at him... has anyone ever tried to talk to him without loosing their temper so quickly?" Erza asked him as she started working again.

"They try, it's his attitude that pisses of most people" Erwin explains and he sighs "Though the only one he listens to are Levi and I, maybe Hanji" he adds.

Ken sighed as he looked at Hanji with a raised brow. "I was saying interesting to the size of the wolf. It's abnormally large, I haven't seen one that big in a while." He said before looking at the cadets with a small sigh. "Okay how about this. I'll listen to what you have to say and I won't throw in my opinion till you have said yours. If I'm out voted on an idea before I even say mine I will go along with it, with no complaints." He said simply.


Ryuu looked at the leaf and grinned. "Good idea! I wouldn't want to have berry soup in my pocket." He said as he climbed down himself. He placed the berries on the leaf before looking around to see if he could find his own, not wanting to have Elena carry them all on her own.

" well you guys are the higher ups, of course he will listen to you, Levi and Hanji" she said to him "... why did he join the survey corps?" She asked him.

Erwin trows a file to Erza "That's his file, read it" she says and sighs, he didn't feel like explaining it at the moment.


Hanji smiles "Sure you were" she says and adds "Those wolves are only seen deep in the forest, they lived at the farm for a short while though". She was kinda glad Luna showed up on time or they would have been in trouble.


Elena smiles "I can carry it, don't worry" she says and adds "We just need a bit more before we can go back".

Ken nodded at this before looking at the cadets. "Well? I'm going to be quiet, but we should still get the leaves." He said as he kept his hands in his pockets keeping a calm look on his face despite the fact he didn't like doing things this way. If he could do what he wanted then he was certain he would have already had a handful of those leaves that they needed.


Ryuu nodded and smiled at her. "Got it. You stay here and I'll get the berries real quick. Or I can hold the berries and you get them. I don't know where a lot of them are... So yeah." He said with a small laugh/smile as he scratched the back of his head.

Erza caught it and leaned back on her chair and started to read the file.


The black that was suppose to leave after she dropped of Erza is still at the stables patiently waiting for her to come back.

Erwin gets up "I'm going to take a look at Hanji's lab, I get the feeling it's a huge mess, she was working on something, she said she wanted to give Luna a present".


Luna yawns and she allows Petra to take care of the cut before she mumbles "I wonder when Levi's coming back, it's boring without him"


Elena thinks for a while "There should be a few more in the trees around here" she says and sits down tying the leaf together with her scarf, she didn't really need it.
