a quick introduction.
hello!! firstly, thank you for checking out my little forum ad — i haven't written in a forum, or done a 1x1 tbh, in quite some time but i desperately wish to get back into the craft of it so here i am! this post may be a slight mess on account of this being the first time i've done such things in a while. in fact the last time i did a 1x1 ad was on an old account i made on here that i !! lost the password of, smh.
regardless, hello! you can call me lamb. i'm twenty - five years old & have been writing for over 10 years. i've written on all sorts of platforms but forums were always my personal preference & thus, i'm here, hoping to get settled into rpnation (so long as i don't get too nervous.) i roleplay a ton of characters, both canon & original but for now will be focusing on canon characters as i'm itching to write some of those pairings!

writing preferences.
what i'm seeking . . . — i'm looking for a long term partner to write with. someone 21+ is required; i don't feel super comfortable writing with anyone younger than that. activity and response times can be fluid ; i don't expect anyone to reply to me every single day but i do want someone who will write as opposed to ghosting the thread!!
how i write . . . — i write advanced prose, and can post about 2 to 5 paragraphs, depending on the verse & what i'm given. i usually reply a few times a week, though i recently got a new job so this may fluctuatee while i get into the hang of my new schedule; that being said, i'm always around to talk ooc - wise. i do like to stylize my text however i don't mind dropping that, and will also usually match your styling to keep the thread looking cohesive. i'm a sucker for both becoming pretty good friends with my partners (i think ooc chemistry is what makes ic chemistry tbh!!) & i also loveeeee love making a ton of aus and stuff for the pairings i'm writing. idk if i'm writing with someone, i love to hold onto it for a while and really value what we make together collaboratively.
additional notes . . . — as i'm someone who's lgbtq+, i prefer writing my characters to be a wide variety of sexualities & genders. my writing partner doesn't have to do this with their muses but please, respect my characters gender identities and such!

fandom - based alternative universes. . . — i am a sucker for these! my most memorable rps have always been me & my friends taking characters and throwing them into things like divergent, the hunger games, a horror au, etc.
original alternative universes. . . — again, i just love an au!
canon, edited. . . — i love reworking canon to fix issues with it or anything.
