Well, Bren brought up one worst-case that happened to him when a caster tried to mess with magic they knew little about, but hey, if Luna wants to go ahead and start before the NPCs get here and roll their knowledge skills to maybe get us a better idea of how to fix this, that's her choice.

Just to be clear: the hideous witch picture is now what Luna looks like, or is that there in addition to a now more evil Luna? I am going to have to invest in a bunch of veils if this effect cannot be broken.
 
Also, if it is Luna, and she is about to begin casting offensive spells on the group, unless this thing is armed with its own mystical knowledge, I did post in the beginning of the thread what spells Luna currently has memorized.
 
Final question: If Luna does get killed, and I have to replace her, would the new character start out at level eight, or something different? While I don't want to lose her, I am trying to prepare myself for the worst case of PC death.

Wow! Finally some action, even if it is on Luna's expense. Sorry Sherwood, but after the way you ignored my loving post at forest's edge, I just can't sympathize with you though Wolf still feels like before towards Luna (I assume that she returned the gesture somewhere between the lines <3) *rawrrr*


And don't worry! I didn't see a "character in mortal danger" sign flashing for Luna, only poor Sparkle. Though thinking about it, it is probably because it's our lives that are endangered! Yikes! But never fear, we got this. I think. Probably. Maybe?


But Daaann, I dunno how or what to roll :/ (except initiative). Rolls coming up as soon as I get home *woof*
 
Well, assuming that Luna lives, and assuming that she gets her good looks back, Wolf will have to watch his back as a much naughtier Luna makes her move on the poor ranger.

A serious question, though. Does the alignment change still take place?
 
I had a similar question and was told everything is reset to the point before Luna starts cutting. So, I'd guess no, no alignment change, since that was afterwards.

Ha ha ha! Folks, this here is Sherwood-speak for "Dann, you got me again, you son of a gun!" When Sherwood turns around and gets me sometime, I probably won't see it coming though I'll have it coming! Ha ha! =) And Cap'n, your post is priceless! 8D


Kaerri is correct, folks. No alignment change. No cutting has taken place and no one is becoming a lich (in this scene anyway). Heh!


However... as far as action is concerned... (begins writing the next in-character post). =)
 
Wolf's itching for some action though.


His current intentions are to reach the giants and spy on them undetected. As close as he can get without showing himself, even though he doesn't expect them to react to the presence of just another animal. But for now, caution. Let me know if I need to make any rolls *woof*
 
@Sherwood Hey, you! Would you let me know Luna's response to Bren's question? Once I know, I can continue the scene. =)
 
Sorry for holding things up. Is Sparkle aware enough to give me any info? I'm wanting to set this man's soul free, but I don't want to cause him any more trauma than he's already gone through.
 
Just saw it a moment ago. I've posted for Luna; she will wait for Bria to show before doing any cutting. Hopefully I'm making the right call here.
