Astrella's Boarding School for the Powered ~ Class MO-104

En Valkyrie II --Reality hits... hard?--

What happened next was anyone's guess as Anubis went into 'grown up' mode, getting to lecture Reigner all while defending herself against his 'snide' statement. En looked at Reigner as his teacher went on about the book, and how he was lucky that his current situation wasn't worst. ...that didn't help either side, the now angered boy changing color and tone; he delivered a kick to the desk in front.

She over stepped her bounds with that one. En said mentally, the boy mentioned clearly needing an outlet.

Well young one, its hard to decipher boundaries when in the presence of a god. The ancestor responded, before following up. Wouldn't you say?

Giving silence to his ancestor's rhetorical question, En eye'd the attempt at an attack 'intended' to damage Anubis; the dark-haired observer taking it as a way of self expression, words undoubtedly unsuitable at the stage of rage the boy was in. The punch was pathetic but it landed, square in the center of Anubis's head.

If only he was a bit stronger.

En could feel the ancestor shaking his head at that thought, the futility of whatever outcome the child sought etching emotion in En's eyes. The hype was over, and the teacher really didn't care; trying to resume class as if nothing happened.

~Taylor Walker~

He wasn't sure if it was Anubis's threatening demeanor or if she was using her powers, but it felt like the temperature in the room dropped. Taylor felt a chill crawl up his spine at Anubis's expression. Fake goddess or not, she's not someone I wanna piss off. He couldn't say that he was really surprised, after all, a prestigious school for future superheroes was obviously going to have some of the strongest and best superheroes around. As she walked back to her desk, Anubis's eyes flicked over to his phone. Taylor jolted a little but her gaze soon left. "Now, where were we?" Deciding to take a risk, the blond quickly glanced down and opened Sudo's text.

Welcome to the school.
them
Just a friendly hello.
me
Funny, I don't consider being put under and mind fucked a friendly hello.
me
How'd you even get this number?
them
Dude, chill a bit. I'm a tech student. I'm good at numbers. I figured I'd say hi, and I have zilch to do with the mindfuckery. That's the school's f'd up way of testing.
them
Two months without a reply. I'm hurt.
them
Enjoying the tour?
me
Don't blame me, communication is a two-way street. Besides, I got better things to do then cater to you and your fragile fucking feelings. Like figuring out which outfits I wanted to pack. :hornstongue;
me
I'm also going to assume that you can't actually see the tour and that you just know from past experience. Because I'm pretty sure that following us around and watching what we're doing is stalking. But yes I'm having fun thanks for asking.
me
So are you going to actually introduce yourself or am I going to have to hunt for your little candy ass?

Spoiler: I won't be gentle. :lenny:

Tempest has escaped

He immediately felt his stomach drop. Tempest escaping wasn't really that big of a deal in of itself. Sure, he was a pretty infamous villain and would be pretty high on a superhero's 'Recapture' list, but it didn't really effect a bunch of students who were just going to school. Unless Tempest is planning something. His grip tightened on his phone as he glanced up at the teacher. Whether or not he was able to trust her didn't matter, the school needed to know. Standing up and drawing the room's attention to himself, he shot a smug look in Reigner's direction (Not stealing my spotlight now bitch), Taylor approached Anubis. "I just got a message saying that Tempest escaped," he said without much preamble, "Should someone tell Astrella?"

Reigner To'Me
He didn't give a shit if she was some magical, all-powerful god. She could vomit nuclear bombs and Reigner still wouldn't care.

He felt the cold chill of mother's wrath course through his blood again, paused a moment, felt his own anger turn from a blazing fire to a sputtering flame. The last sign of resistance from the boy was a long, protracted snarl before he pulled his desk back into position and took a seat.

Still. He didn't care if she was a god. He would bide his time. Then make her pay for what she'd said to him.

The boy slammed the ancient book of the dead down hard on his desk as he sat, pulling it closer to him and shooting a glare towards Anubis. He'd not forgive her. Reigner let out a heavy, resigned sigh. He'd wanted to get permission to leave the academy and visit graveyards and morgues to perform his Day of Burial Spell, though his admittedly rash actions wouldn't give him any 'brownie points'.

Reigner never checked his phone, he wasn't thinking of anything so mundane as a text that was almost certainly from a fast food chain he'd accidentally given his phone number or email to.

Another few hours pass since the alarming text message barrage, and class at least attempts to get back to normal. At around 2pm (it was 11am-ish), a loud bell rings out through the school. A voice comes up over the intercom, stating that, it is now Lunchtime, and that students should head to the cafeteria for food. Though this was a little later than a typical lunchtime, it was clearly normal, as the teachers had been expecting it. They let the students go to the cafeteria, many of them tagging along with.
