Alex noticed Stephen coming towards her in the smoke and moved out of the way of his attacked. She grabbed his arm and twisted it behind him into a submission hold.

He whinched slightly at the submission hold before striking at Alex with the elbow of his free hand. Then kicked back with his heel trying to find her shin, you know just to be safe.
