She stopped as she saw him headed into the swamp and quickly got off her horse and followed him in. She wouldn't be able to make it very far considering her height, but she mightve been able to make it far enough to catch him. Then she paused. ...why. why was she going through all this trouble just to catch one man, who'd already tried to kill her? She turned and began heading back. He wasn't worth the trouble, after all. There would be quite a crowd looking for him, and she'd be able to get far ahead of him.
Her horse had already run off by the time she'd returned. Of course it had. Well, its not like she couldn't walk for a few hours while the storm went overhead. she could've went back to the inn, but after she so graciously spared his life the 2nd time, he'd better give up.
