Alyxa was born in Moscow, Russia, and lived in Saint Petersburg after the age of two. However, ever since her birth there had been abnormalities in her behavior and development. Her pre-frontal cortex and hippocampus showed rapid development and slightly larger size by the age of six months. Further, a DNA panel showed clear signs of mutations in several genes that had not been present before, as with every panel the mutations become more obvious until at first glance any Doctor worth his salt wouldn't call it normal human DNA. Then again it didn't look like she would survive infancy either. Having to be frequently interned for greater durations of time in a hospital due to any variable illness.
Miraculously, the condition reversed itself once she reached age two. Becoming the picture perfect child in terms of health. But for all their attempts she remained a curiously silent child. No Psychiatrist, therapist, pediatric professional, nor her parents could get her to speak any human word. She would just cry or make the odd sounds. That changed once she turned four. Her first word was a normal, "kitty cat," but things only escalated from there. She took rapidly to language of any kind. By age six she'd mastered a level of Russian something a secondary school child should be using. By age eight she had learned German, Mandarin, French, and English. As time went on it got quicker and faster. But it had also perked the interest of a shady UN Agency based out of Wyoming, USA.
At the age of ten while she was walking home from school with her class she became separated from her peers. She never made it home. Instead she was comatose and being transported to a secret location in the Rocky Mountains. She had been identified as one of the 'gifted.'
She didn't take well to this predicament. Crying for her parents and family. That was when she was lied too. She was told they had perished in a horrible fire and that she was taken her to be taken care of. All the while going through increasing tests, indoctrination, and according to plan became to regard the other children and base personnel as a brand new family. They fed her, cared for her, transported to approved locations, and clothed her in whatever she needed. She never wanted for anything.
Then, one day, a knock on her room door came. Answering it was Captain Ekaterina 'Kat' Tarina, commander of the gifted children's security detail who took them all on planes bound for the East Coast. From there they loaded up onto smaller planes to a destination no human had set foot on before...to her knowledge.

Powers/Skills: Former Russian Special Forces and Black Ops team member.

Ekaterina was born in Volgograd and like her father was conscripted into the Russian Armed Forces at the age of 17. However, she chose it as a career and regularly volunteers with distinction in troubled areas like Chechnya, Crimea, and Syria. Rising to the rank of Lieutenant and undergoing Special Forces training during the course of 2019. Graduating in Spring 2020 and proceeding to undergo various missions until she was picked during a regular recruiting session as part of Russia's contribution to Agency 51.
Ekaterina was regarded as a stern but kind presence in the children's lives. Humorously doubling as a history teacher with a gusto that proved surprising. Needless to say she took the job of guarding, often infants, very seriously. Sadly, not many survived, for the mutations seemed to have trouble meshing with the human body. She recorded the name and subject number of every child that passed under her and her soldier's watch.
