Feather shrieked. "Kai stop!! What are you doing?! You can't kill him!" She screamed in fury as she rushed over to Kai. She grabbed his shoulders and shook him. "Stop it!" She shrieked in terror as she turned to see Max grabbing the side of his head. Her eyes went wide and she couldn't breathe. Feather crouched on the ground, tears streaming down her face as she gazed at Max. @Newtype

 

[Field Marshall]

Kai answered at last. "This is what you wanted. You wanted power, I provided it. Now you see what has happened. Next time you pull something like usupring half the power from the city again, I will make you burst like a baloon. But this is not over." Kai finally stopped firing lighting and raised his hand and closed it. A rubber sphere enclosed around Max filled with silver rods. As Max would release his lightning it will be bounced right back at him to shock him again.

When Max looked around he saw one of his worst nightmare. "N-No n-not th-this...No! let me out!" He screamed as he held in his power. He couldn't hold it in any longer and had to release it. He did once he finished he was hurt but still standing. However he was shaking in pure fear "I-I'll behave let me out! Please! I'm sorry... D-Don't hurt me!" He exclaimed though his pleas got weaker as he fell to his knees. "Please...don't experiment on me anymore...just...just kill me! Make it quick and kill me already!" He shouted though these word weren't directed to Kai. @Newtype @SnowFeather

Kai made the rubber split releasing Max. He tossed the lump of silver and rubber to the tossed with invisible energy. Kai said "I'll let you have your moment. I'm going after the Syndicate, the Gon clan members convene in the city hall." Kai was speed teleported to a block within of the city hall. He then walked the rest of the way to the Hall.

Feather ran up to Max, tears streaming down her face. "Are you okay?!" She shrieked as she neared him, her entire body shaking.

When Max was released he stood up and brushed himself off and smiled. "Hahaha A vigilante without a heart, those seem to be surprisingly common." He said with a smirk as he stretched, he still had plenty of power so he travel at the speed of light ignore Feather. "While you were being lazy I was nice enough to take out most of the weaklings at the Syndicate. I actually shut off the power to their HQ making it so no communication was possible and I locked the boss in his room." Max said suddenly appearing next to Kai as if nothing had happened. "And I don't need a moment, next time you try to teach someone a lesson, see if they deserve it first." He muttered before following Kai. @Newtype @SnowFeather

"Syndicate are mere puppets of a much more problematic organization. They implant agents into smaller organizations, sometimes they're the leaders other times they can be someone as low as a foot soldier. I have to be thorough, I'll know which one it is when I engage them in combat. I currently suspect one of the Gon's. Anyway my base is a perfect example of that but not everyone uses electricity alone there's magic and the like." Kai replied. "They can even pose as a weakling and trick many into believing they're dead. But I'm a prime target of this organization they freaking hate me, I've screwed over lots of their stuff. They'll reveal themselves if I'm in their crosshairs."

Max just nodded complete bored with what Kai said. "Right well I can guarantee that all electricity in the building is no longer of any use. So go crazy on someone else." He said as he scratched his head. "Umm where's Feather? Crap! Don't tell me I accidently fryed her!" @Newtype @SnowFeather

Feather sat behind the bush, tears streaming down her face. Her body trembled and she was wiping her tears.

Max let out a sigh when he got no response from Kai he then traveled back at where he previously had been. "Feather? Are you here? Please tell me you didn't get fried to a crisp."

Feather looked up at the mention of her name. She stood up, tears still streaming down her face. "I - I'm here.." She said, her voice trembling. She blushed and tried wiping her tears.

Kai ignored the rest of Max's words he could tell they had no relevance. So he kicked open the doors of the City Hall. Guards in the front room immediate tried to stop probably sensing his intentions. They had good physical strength but Kai was strong knocking each one out with one hit after dodging their opening attacks. He proceeding to the conference room.


Lucky for him the Gon clan members all sat in one row together. More guards came and they were simply dispatched of. "Gon Clan members, I've come for you now members of the Syndicate." he boomed. Their faces shifted and they barred their fangs. They leapt from their seats Kai dispatched them while they were in mid air and then disappeared from the meeting. It wasn't any of the Gon clan.

"Why are you crying?" He asked as he walked over to where she was. "I absorbed the electricity, so you shouldn't have gotten shocked, though I may have missed some of it." He said as he placed his hands into his pockets.

Feather stopped crying and looked down at the ground. "No I'm not hurt.." She replied. "I - I thought you were hurt.." She mumbled.

He looked at her before smirking. "It takes a LOT more than that to faze me. Honestly I didn't want to absorb the electricity, but I couldn't let him destroy that nice ramen shop or accidently hurt you." @SnowFeather

Feather looked up, surprised. "Me? Why would you care if I got hurt?" She raised an eyebrow, feeling small.

"Well though he attacked me I wouldn't want him to hurt his girlfriend." He said with a grin. "Besides I don't like unneeded death."

 

[Snowfeather]

Feather narrowed her eyes. "What?!" She growled, her eyes turning a bright red. "He's not my boyfriend!!" She snapped. "What made you think that!? I bet he doesn't even consider me as his friend!" She screamed.

 

[Peaceswore]

Max jumped at her statement. "Sorry! I just...sorry!" He exclaimed before hiding behind a tree. "Scary..."

Feather took out her gun and shot a bullet at the tree Max was hiding behind, the tree cracking as it crashed down to the side. She growled and took out four knives and threw one at Max, making a slight cut on his arm. "What was that? Hmm?" She hissed. "What made you think I was his girlfriend huh?!" She snapped, her hair turning into dark purple. She growled as she took a step towards him, a dark smoke gathering at her feet. It flowed up her legs and then diminished, appearing as an orb of dark magic in her hand moments later.

He looked at her and burst out laughing. "Hahaha It was ju Hahaha just a joke." He said as he fell on the ground laughing so hard he was tearing up. "Hahahaha You're reaction! And face! Hahahaha" He exclaimed as he repeated slammed his fist onto the ground at the same time clenching onto his stomach. "I-I haha can't breath hahaha help." @SnowFeather

The orb disappeared as Feather stared at him, eyebrows raised. She smirked and her hair turned blonde again. She ran over to him and jumped at him, rolling him over. She pinned him down and smirked. "Joke? I've got one right here, his name is Sparky." She joked before tickling his neck, laughing along with him.

"No anything but that hahaah my one weakness hahahahaha I can't breath hahaha!" He exclaimed as he tried and failed to get away. "I hahaha prefer Static hahaha! Mercy! Haha Have mercy!" He shouted as tears began to roll down his cheeks from laughing to hard.

Feather couldn't stop laughing. "Well I prefer Sparky!" She exclaimed and kept tickling him, laughing all the while. She stopped tickling him after a while and smirked. "Fine, but don't expect me to me as nice next time!" She snapped, her voice friendly.
