Realistic or Modern Arranged Marriage and Other Such Drama

For centuries, the Scela Kingdom and the Forella Kingdom have been at odds. Wars upon wars upon wars have been fought between these nations. The most recent kings and queens of these lands have made an agreement. They decided, that once their children were of age, they would get married, unifying these kingdoms into one, thus ending the conflict. The plan was set and when Scela had a baby girl and Forella had a baby boy, they were betrothed. The only problem in this plan was that once the children had grown up, they hated each other. Not only that, but both of them are gay. Of course they haven't come out because they would be practically burned at the stake, but all the same the Prince and Princess have fallen in love with other people and do not wish to be married. What will happen between the Prince and the Princess? And what about their lovers? Will the kingdoms be unified or will they fall into war once again?

So I know this is more fantasy than modern HOWEVER, I've tried putting this interest check in the fantasy genre and there is always at least one person who wants to make cat people or dragon people and that's just not what I'm here for. I am willing however to hear any suggestions someone might have in making this story better or thicken the plot more. I do plan on playing the gay princess and I'm looking for no more than 6 players. (With each player playing two characters) I haven't role-played in awhile either so I'm not trying to make this extra detailed. This is casual and fun and interesting for all. So if you are interested, let a girl know. Thanks!

Hey all. Sorry for not replying sooner. I posted this and then went on vacation like a day later. Didn't really think that one through. As for the roles I'm looking for the Prince, Princess, their lovers, and then the royal family. So the Kings, Queens, possibly some siblings or even guards or stuff like that. The four main roles though are the Prince, Princess, and their lovers.
