Arranged Fates

Clarence went the whole day without seeing her after the lunch. He hired the two artists and they have moved into the royal quarter right down the hall from their bedroom and he had a few things set up for them. Walking into their room he got ready for bed and walked over to her vanity and placed his hands on her shoulders. "We have a painting commissioned with you and I next week in the garden, so wear something nice please dear."

She nodded,"That sounds like a great idea." She said happily, then got up and followed him to bed. "how was the rest of your day after lunch? I'm afraid I got quite busy with Altair and Alexander." she said and pulled back the covers, getting in the sheets and pulling them back.

(Sorry.... its crazy short :( )

"yeah I did, I got the painters hired and moved into their quarters. I should've killed one of them when they spilled paint onto my good coat and now it's ruined." Laying in the bed next to her he didn't even put a hand around her as he was still suspicous of her and knew something was wrong.

She shrugged,"It shouldn't be too much trouble for us to get you a new coat made." She said as she walked over and got under the sheets as well,"but why did they have paint when they were talking to you?" She ask him, sitting on the edge of the bed,"That seems like a peculiar time to have opened paint."

(Is it okay if we skip a week? )

Over the passed week Altair had been sure to flood Clarence with letters he needed to return and other paper work in the morning and in the evenings Christiane pushed Alexander to continue putting the gala together.

Tonight though Christiane sat on the bed and pulled her perfect blonde hair over her shoulder,"Anyways. Tomorrow morning Altair and Alexander said they wanted to go hunting tomorrow with you." She added, that was the favored sport for the court lately,"Something they wanted to talk to you about." She shrugged and looked at him,"They wouldn't tell me anything else. You know why they wanted to see you so bad?" She asked him. She legitimately wasn't sure what Altair and Alexander were planning on speaking about, but she knew it would take them long enough to give her time to finish up the budgetary matters she had been working on for the military and finally get those approved and off their plate.
