Penelope Charlotte
unknown-1.png The alarm blares Penelope awake. Her hair messy from making various discoveries as well as tossing and turning restless to start a new day. Suffice to say, she managed to make an incredibly long list of notes from the constant interviews of each race. Her approach too bold to uphold a proper conversation whenever she rambled a mile a minute. Nothing could stop her not even shame. Her curiosity overcomes all odds for her quest in knowledge. Unfortunately, her mornings are usually slow paced having no source of motivation or energy to fuel her. As she snoozes the alarm on her phone, she drags herself out of bed and prepares herself with self-care.

Afterwards, she throws on whatever feels easy to wear and the most comfortable which is mainly a yellow sweater, plaid blue skirt and black leggings sporting red converse. Content with her outfit, the bluenette carries her laptop with her to explore the castle. Her eyes immediately marvels the decor filling her with wonder if everything was made by magic. "Now what shall we do today? Shall I prod the Salamander or maybe ask some nymphs how their elemental bodies are able to hold up?" She queried in deep thought. There are millions of possibilities causing her curiosity to peek. All she wanted was to figure out every nook and cranny for the secrets behind well...everything!

Somewhere along the way, one of the staff members informed the students about club listings taking place at the plaza of the castle. Penny's lips curve with delight over the news. More reason to check out the event. She hoped she could be in everyone one of them, but realistically she couldn't. As she made her way to the plaza, several booths stood on each side of the blocks advertising themselves. There are plenty of options to choose and Penny didn't know what to pick.

"Archery is too physical." She commented while browsing. "Ooo~ astronomy club will prove useful." She shakes her head trying to pull herself away from temptation. "Maybe I should try something abnormal, but what?" She starts jumping from booth to booth listening to the presentations after presentation. So many choices, yet nothing called to her strongly so she eventually dropped herself flat on the grass under a random shading tree. The clouds were enough to ease her mind, but she still had to pick a club. She pouts in distress listing out our skills that would match to a magical one.

The night before Kitchi had slipped away into his room once the small lizard man who was their teacher explained everything. His room was just like his home, a wood floor made from the tree his home was situated on as the shaman would whisper to the tree and bend it to the desired shape for their round houses. A fire burned in the middle of the room illuminating the hide tent as the stars shone through the branches and hide above in the center where the smoke exited. He sat down on one of the bed seats and stared at the stars, he wondered if this place was truly like home or just a mimic of it. He decided to test the theory as he tossed a bead at the hole in the ceiling, to his disappointment it bounced back. Still he was glad he was at somewhere that felt like home after traveling for so long.

The full moon had been in the sky that night, but after taking one last breath of his medicine in, he would be fine for the night. He was thankful he wasn't cursed with his condition, instead he was blessed by the spirit of the bear making so he could resist transformation. He knew that using the medicine to aid his concentration was a crutch, but control would come with time according to his elder, so it was best not to rush things. As his thoughts churned within his head, he drifted to sleep.

Kitchi arose several hours later as the sun was about to arise and the birds began to sing and flit about above the tent like home. With that he exited his room and made his way out into the halls of the school. He turned his nose into that of a bear and made his way towards the dining hall where he and the other early risers were of the first to arrive for breakfast. The assortment was large and he ended up picking up a large chunk of pork, strange greens that smelled good, and a block of yellow called "cheese". They tasted delicious, but he didn't desire to tarry long as he wanted to exercise. After an hour of working out, people began to pile into the field where he was with tents, and various things he didn't recognize. Seeing as a tribe was likely on the move he left for another area... only to be followed several minutes later. This process repeated once more before he gave up and began to exercise in a tree as the others around did their thing.

While he worked out the fair was set up nearby, which he ignored entirely as he didn't know what clubs were nor why he should care. As such he continued to work out in the treetop until a girl arrived who looked down. "What ails you?" He inquired as he dropped down to the ground into a criss cross position in front of her. His head was tilted as he studied her, she was tiny compared to him and the women he was used to seeing in his tribe.

unknown-1.png For a long time Penny was lost in a daze just enjoying the moving clouds. She had forgotten how nice it was to be outside and enjoy the scenery without constantly having to worry about the cold forcing her her to succumb to sleep or the fact that there is a view at all. The collision between two worlds had changed the climate drastically until it stabled and became normalized. Of course with it was the cost of some continents. As fascinating as history was, the tragedy behind it made human's rage valid. Their world now forced to share and some family member lost due to the obscure phenomenon. Even so, holding a grudge will not change anything. Progression and evolution must take it's course as most things do. Penny hoped in time people will accept what has happened and start a new. Thankfully, the university she is residing had a genius plan to open their doors in hopes of reconciling. A place to learn about one another's species for in truth, humans are not the only ones that feel confused.

It's surprising how long the girl was able to be stuck within the confines of her mind without disruption. It was a nice pace and certainly content to have made the right choice in expanding her horizons. On cue, someone from above presents themselves quickly with a query of her well-being that it took her a moment to process the stranger. Their attire reminiscent of a Native-American except they were tall. Nothing strange, but truly amazing to meet someone in tune with their own culture. Instantly, she shits up feeling rather shy to introduce herself. Her small hand clasped over her mouth in a timid manner. "O-oh, hello." She greeted. Penny hadn't noticed she was troubled or at least was at first before becoming distracted. "I'm fine I was just in the zone." Next, she fiddles with the hem of her skirt unsure of what to say. Her multicolored eyes shift to the booths across. "H-have you picked a club out?" She pointed to a random one, specifically a book club.

The small woman in front of him seemed surprised by his arrival, and whatever fire she was pondering he must have doused by doing so. It was easy to see she was a timid and shy creature due to how she reacted soon after. "Nitáp." He greeted back after she explained she was in the zone. "What is this zone you speak of? Is it the land the tribe that has arrived today lain claim to until they move on? It is tradition no one owns the land and that we only share it due to natures grace, I hope my presence is no disturbance to this tribe." He responded as he noticed her fiddling with her skirt, perhaps he was being too threatening? He had to make sure not to disturb the local tribes if he was to live here peacefully.

"I have no ill will against you or your tribe nervous one, I am Kitchi, heir to the Machk tribe, we are many moons away from this place and I come only to learn." He explained as he pulled out his pipe to present to her as a sign of good intentions in the chance of sealing a treaty of peace. "I come not to pick out a weapon, for I am here to learn as such I need no club. I can offer a peace treaty to your tribe's leader, or with you if you are heir or leader." Though she was small she could be the leader of a tribe of humans or a smaller race that looked similar.

"If I may inquire, what tribes gather here as I see many people of many tribes, if so what are their customs, or are they all of one tribe that takes in all races, do they also have customs I should know?" He inquired wanting to make sure he acted accordingly, as to show respect to the tribe or tribes in this land. He knew he asked many questions so he realized it was only fair to let her ask of him. "Forgive me, I ask much as someone from lands far from here, you may inquire of me as I have inquired of you." He stated before going silent to let her respond as he carefully examined her mannerisms and motions to make sure he did not frighten nor offend her.

Marcus and Kiree more or less stuck to one another for the morning the girl having gotten a good idea of her roommate right now and he sure did need a good friend to stick around him besides he found weenie rather amusing/funny with all her antics but after breakfast the pair more or less ended up breaking off from one another as the flow of students made it a little hard to keep track of Marcus, Kiree just frowning a little bit. "aww well I'm sure we will catch up another time" Kiree said with a huff brushing her long silvery hair out of the way of her eyes. making her way out to the main event of the day. picking clubs, a huge excitable smile formed on her face. what would she pick would there be a writing club? should she join it? maybe though it would probably be a lot of nerdy sorts that might not appreciate her looks Kiree tapped her chin thoughtfully ask she walk out amongst the verious stands and stalls. honestly she just couldn't pick... right now.. maybe Tay would have a good idea.. she just needed to find her brother it couldn't be that hard right?

Tsukiko & Yasuo
The Twins

[Before the arrival]

“Are you sure you have everything?”
“Yes Ma, I’m sure.”

Yasuo reassured his mother for what felt like the hundredth time today. But he couldn’t blame her. Today was a big day for him and his sister, Tsukiko. Today, the two were headed to a new international school created by the Free World Organization. It was a rare honor due to the fact that the twins, along with others from around the world, would be the first to attend. They were the first generation.

Days ago, almost a week, the twins received a letter addressing the both of them. A formal invitation to enroll in the new academy. The only condition? Accept with your blood. After that, they began to prepare and pack up.

In the living room, there was a pile of bags. Some were Yasuo’s, some Tsukiko’s. There was a medium-sized one for their parents so that they could come to attend the opening ceremony, then spend the night after before catching the next airship back home.

Yasuo glanced up at the clock on the wall. It was almost time to head out, but his sister wasn’t around. Without another word, Yasuo went upstairs to where their rooms were.

“Tsuki?”

His eye caught a glimpse of her door, slightly open. Maybe she was grabbing something at the last minute. Yasuo sighed lightly as he walked over.

“Hey, it's almost time to go. Are you ready-”

He pushed the door open, only to see Tsukiko standing in the open space, staring. The room was all nice and tidy, clean of any personal items.

“Tsuki?”

The girl blinked, looking over at Yasuo.
“Sorry. I just…wanted to have one last look around,” she replied softly as she knelt to touch the floor, specifically faint claw marks that have been softened with time. Old memories of her brother and her wreaking havoc around the house in their nine-tailed forms during their younger years bubbled up, causing her to smile. It was bizarre to think about all the memories they would be leaving behind but she kept reminding herself that they would simply make new ones.

Yasuo nodded, giving her a soft smile.
“C’mon. If we don't leave now, we might miss the airship.”

Tsukiko nodded, leaving the room with her brother. When the two got back downstairs, their father was now present. Yasuo reached down, picking up his bag and hers, handing it off. As they stepped out of the front door, Tsukiko took one last look behind her, before closing the door.

[Arrival]

The journey to the academy, Arcus Remedium, was rather uneventful. They were transported by airship, along with a handful of others that were heading to the same destination. Tsukiko had been looking forward to it as it was her first time traveling by airship but she didn’t account for the possibility of getting motion sickness. Although she had her family to comfort her, she did not enjoy the trip to say the least. Luckily, the airship was known as the fastest transportation method so the trip hardly lasted an hour.

The real excitement was the academy itself. The architecture was grand and magnificent, a far cry from the rather quaint life that the Matsuyama twins lived. Yasuo had to admit, it was a bit impressive, but nothing to get excited about. However, Tsukiko clung to her brother practically throughout the entire ceremony as the crowds of people made her feel extremely uneasy. She felt an overwhelming amount of joy and happiness, but she also could feel the jealousy and sadness that came from mostly family members. The kitsune kept her head down for most of the ceremony, only lifting her head to give the headmaster and headmistress their deserved attention when they delivered their speeches. Only when the students broke off into several smaller groups to celebrate their first day did she feel less overwhelmed.

The rest of the evening went as expected, the twins interacted with a few students. Yasuo being the more confident and outgoing of the two attracted quite a bit of attention while Tsukiko did her best to match his level of energy. After what seemed like an appropriate amount of time to celebrate, the two retired to their new dorms to unpack and give Tsukiko a break from socializing.

[Current]

After such a draining evening, Tsukiko slept soundly throughout the entire night, like an animal in hibernation. She only woke up when her brother prompted her to, informing her of the option to explore the campus grounds as well as sign up for any clubs that interest them. No doubt there would be a lot of people gathered to consider all the clubs as well but Tsukiko was curious herself what the options were.

“I do hope there aren’t as many people as there was yesterday,” she dreaded the thought but her body forced itself to get out of bed. Once she shooed her brother out of her room, she sifted through the clothes she had already tucked away neatly into her dresser last night. She wasn’t planning on impressing anybody so she defaulted to a white and yellow kimono, one that would match her brother’s attire. Before leaving her room, she caught a glimpse of herself in the tall mirror that hung beside her dresser, her eyes widening in shock at the state of her hair. It was completely ruffled up, practically untamed - a clear indication that she got a good night’s rest. After a few seconds of brushing it out and styling it in her usual preference, she met up with Yasuo where the two walked together to the area where all the clubs were being advertised.

As expected, it was crowded. The loud buzz of chatter and other noises made her ears fold as she walked slightly behind her brother, using him as a shield. “Quite a lot of people,” she mumbled to him as her eyes darted from booth to booth.

“Guess everyone chose today to find a club they like.” Yasuo glanced down at Tsukiko, giving her a shrug.

Surprisingly, she didn’t feel as overwhelmed as she did yesterday. Almost everyone’s emotions around her were positive which made it easier for her to adjust to. Eventually, she found herself with her shoulders pulled back, walking alongside her brother instead of behind as she seemingly got used to the energy of the crowd. A few students approached them every now and then as they walked around, trying to convince the twins to join their club. Some had even offered them samples or souvenirs. The culinary club gave them a foreign snack to enjoy while the archery club demonstrated their skills.

“Do any clubs interest you - ?” She asked her brother but her attention was immediately pulled away before she could hear his answer. Tsukiko spotted a booth, the framework of it covered in vines while there were several potted plants decorating the front. Instinctively, she grabbed her brother’s hand and pulled him towards that particular booth, not wanting to lose him in the crowd. “What club is this?” She asked the student who she suspected was a representative of the club. They promptly answered that it was the gardening club which earned a look of excitement from Tsukiko. She turned to look at her brother, “I don’t wanna bore you with plants, we can meet up in an hour or two at our rooms?”

Yasuo nodded, glancing around. So far, he hadn’t seen any booth or advertisements that catered to him. Then again, his interests weren’t common. So far, all the clubs that the two had seen were pretty tame. Arts, music, some sports teams. But nothing that was more his speed.

“Go find a club that you’ll like! I’m sure there’s something out there that appreciates…uh..gutting fish or skinning pelts…or punching things - I don’t know!” Tsukiko shooed her twin away with a gentle shove before turning back to the student representative, inquiring to know more.

Tayen wanted nothing more than to forget the mess that occurred as he made his way to his new room, his bloodline had flared up prompting him to do something stupid again and he accidentally offended Aurora. He decided it best to avoid her for now to let things simmer down, aside perhaps what he felt last night was just his blood rearing up due to their shared affinity for lunar bodies. As he reached his room he had cooled off enough to relax and put it all behind him. As he entered his room he could feel it move and change shape as a room themed around the moon quickly appeared in front of him. He smiled as it fit him perfectly and he looked through the room he found all of his stuff in was in it's place. Seeing as all was good he went to bed before he started recalling the incident again.

The next morning he woke up in a daze as he sleepily looked at the time, he realized breakfast would be ending soon and he threw on another comfy outfit before making his way out. As he arrived he saw he wasn't the only person to wake up late. The room had posters up about that clubs would be at the training field for those who were interested. Seeing this Tay felt excited as he was eager to head over and see what was available.

After breakfast he made his way to the field and started looking through the clubs to find dancing, however he happened upon gardening first and seeing as gardens often had flowers he was eager to sign up. He noticed a girl by the booth also looking to sign up but she had just finished talking to what he could only assume was her brother. "Hello there. I would like to sign up with the gardening club!" He stated with a smile before the attendant passed him a paper with a smile which he quickly signed. He then turned to the girl. "I'm surprised to see another demon interested in gardening aside myself and my little sister Ceres. We were rather odd in my home community. Oh, I'm Tayen by the way but you can call me Tay like everyone else does." He stated with a radiant smile.

Luvon Adameer

DFrhA7aWAAEUlyS.jpg

[THE BEGINNING]

It wasn't often that the Adameer family received mail. Sometimes Luvon's father would order something from a shop found in Mountain's Rest, or Evron would use his allowance to get some picture book. It was even rarer for Luvon to receive mail considering the man was fond of using his legs, going into the city, and buying what he wanted or needed at the moment. It wasn't something he was proud of, his impatience. It did make the whole scene in front of him an odd one though.

"Go on boy, open it." Ezha spoke in a tone dancing between interest and disdain. His father was obviously not happy to be wasting time with a measly letter, but the wax seal had garnered his attention, so the man had assured himself to be present for the letter. Next to him, lying on the couch covered head to toe in blankets was Luvon's brother. Evron sniffed slightly, a fairly disgusting sound of boogers and snot shooting back up into his nose. The boy had been sick for a couple of days now and Luvon assumed he would start regaining his strength soon enough. Even with his sickness, however, the young lad looked on with silent interest at the letter his big brother had received.

Luvon frowned and glanced at the letter, inspecting it for a name or address. He recognized the seal. The FWO. The name and emblem seemed to be plastered on just about everything these days, especially with their recent successes at doing what they promised. Sighing, he had a feeling of what it would be. "Yes, father." The elf simply spoke, his voice mellow and soft. It was clear the man didn't raise it often.

Tearing into the envelope, the three was suddenly assaulted with the feeling of arcana. Clearly, the letter was enhanced with mana, perhaps even made from mana itself, but Luvon couldn't be sure. The magiks surrounding it were powerful, however, leading him to believe that whatever the letter was, it was legitimate. Luvon took a minute to read to himself, Evron rocking back and forth in anticipation while Ezha simply crossed his arms and tapped his foot, waiting. Seems Luvon wasn't the only impatient one in the family after all.

After a moment of reading, and a long moment of collecting his thoughts, Luvon spoke. His normal tone was filled with slight apprehension and genuine surprise. "My...It seems I am invited to attend Arcus Remedium. That's not quite what I expected if I were, to be honest. Say's here all I need is a drop of blood on this magic circle. I suppose that's the magical properties we felt, huh?" Avron shot up from his position, throwing some of the covers off his person as his eyes shined with renewed energy. "What!? Brother, why don't you sound more excited!? You do know that Arcus is the FWO's newest and best school in the whole merged world, yes?"

Well of course he knew that. The school was a shining example of what the future could and would be. Advertised as being of the best, if not thee best learning facility with a hugely diverse group. The academies in Kushingar couldn't even compare. That didn't mean much to the man, however, as he simply took the letter and began to fold it up. "Brother dearest, an invitation is simply that. An invitation. I need not oblige and go. I will send a return letter thanking them for their recommendation but I have no interest in suddenly packing everything and heading to some unknown. It's reckless." Luvon's tone was one of lecturing even though there were half-truths tied to the sentences he spoke. The knowledge he'd be able to gain and present to others would surely be immense. That alone made him wish to go. But the fact of the matter was, he had other responsibilities to take care of. His father wasn't the best cook, gathering wood and hunting would take too long with one elf, not to mention Avron who would really only go into the city if he had Luvon to look out for him. There was too much he'd be leaving behind.

Avron groaned and palmed his small hand against his slightly sweaty forehead in exasperation. Ezha meanwhile grunted and stepped forward, causing Luvon to turn his gaze onto him,
"Gimme that!" He shouted, swiping his hand down and snatching the letter from his hands. Luvon took a step back in surprise but didn't hold his grip on the letter, knowing full well it could rip if they weren't careful. Without a second to react, Ezha pulled out his hunting/skinning knife and gripped onto his son's wrist. "You're a stubborn fool if you think you'll ever get a chance like this again son. You're going." With that, he gently but quickly pricked Luvon's finger, causing him to hiss lightly and recoil, cradling his finger. Avron simply watched and marveled in wonder when his blood dripped from the knife, onto the page.

"But, father-" He attempted to reason with him. He knew for a fact that life would get more difficult around the house, especially in the city, without him there to guide the two. His father was having none of it. "But nothing. Luvon Adameer, you will be going to this school, do you understand? If you think your father is useless enough to crumble without his firstborn, then you are as thick-headed as your mother was." Luvon winced at that. He knew that it was true. That perhaps he had been coddling his family for a little too long now, even before the Merge. He couldn't help it though. Seeing Avron withdraw a bit at the mention of his mother, Evha sighed and calmed himself with a large inhale and exhale of breath. "Listen. Use your ears Luvon. I love you. And don't think for a second I can't read you, because I can. Right now, I can tell just how much you really want to go. So I wish for you to go, understand? It's as simple as that." He finally relaxed a bit, the shouting bit over after knowing his point got across. "Don't worry about us. This old snow elf can hold down the fort until you get back. Avron could use some time without you babying him all the time too. Ain't that right kid?"

Avron clearly didn't want Luvon to go. He'd essentially be throwing away his anchor. His safe passage to explore the world around him. But Avron knew for a while now that he was starting to hold his brother back. He was smart, if not scared. So he took the best course of action. "R-right! When you get back Lu, you'll see how much I've improved!" He gave a cute little fistbump and stuck his nose up high causing a chain reaction of chuckles and laughs from the three. Luvon smiled as he gently took the note back from Ezha, the circle dimly glowing after being fueled with his blood. "I see. Once again, I was mistaken. Perhaps it truly is time for me to branch off on my own." He spoke, not to anyone in the room, but more so to himself. Looking back up, he gave his father a determined look along with a nod towards his little brother. "I will do this then. I may be unfamiliar with certain things and fumble along the way, but I will not disappoint you, my An-Tella. My family."

[ARRIVAL]

The arrival was a bit chaotic, to say the least. The rest of the Adameer family couldn't come sadly, due to Avron still recovering from his sick bout and Ezha deciding to take care of the boy in Luvon's steed. Though Luvon was honestly a little relieved at the fact. Neither of them was the best when interacting with people. Even he, himself, was a bit distant and preferred the company of a book more than any other interaction. The other two, however, took it to the extreme with his father completely brushing off people who didn't agree with him, or his brother who would simply run away if things looked even the slightest suspect.

He was absolutely amazed at the regal and almost divine architecture that greeted him upon his arrival into the grand hall. He slipped a notepad and quill out of his pocket. Er...right. These were called pens, not quills. He still had to get used to that. With the pen in hand, he began making small little notes at the header and foot of the page, describing each statue he passed by. Some of the more interesting ones that caught his gaze, he'd make a little sketch of. Luvon was no artist, by any means, but a personal sketch is something that'd jog anyone's memory more than a few simple words.

Soon enough a speech had started. Luvon honestly didn't need much to be entranced by the words of the headmaster. His voice was booming, regal, and just about any other synonym that could describe someone as powerful as he. He took notes, a few names that he'd surely look up to further his goal of finding out what truly happened during the Merge. Perhaps he could get a head start and make a small breakthrough if he gathered enough information in his first year here.

After the talks and speeches, they were ushered to a banquette hall, being led by one who calls itself 'The Salamancer'. It was a nifty little play on words, though Luvon couldn't tell if that was its title or truly their given name. Nonetheless, Luvon followed and soon found himself at a small(er) table found a bit further away from what seemed to be a dance floor. He gathered his food and for a bit, enjoyed the unique music, the fun dancing, and his own plate of food. He could see many students interacting, and he too gave in to a few pleasant conversations before slipping back into his little corner. He didn't want to come off as unsocial on the first day and ruin the potential of future allies and friends but at the same time, the man was simply exhausted. He hadn't gotten any rest after his 2-hour flight and was instead immediately thrown into all these festivities. Surely others would understand, yes?

It wasn't much longer after a certain little light show that 'The Salamancer' dictated that each of them would get their own rooms or shared living spaces if they preferred. Luvon took that moment to head off with a few other early-bird people to find their room. He would have an early rest so that tomorrow he could get more things done.

FJu2_i8aIAILkL_.png

[PRESENT TIME]

Luvon awoke just on time and without any incident. Thankfully his internal clock adjusted quickly to the new time zone and with the help of but one strange clock that had an alarm function, the man was able to get up. Perhaps he was a bit more out of the loop than he thought. Back in Mountain's Rest, he saw many a piece of technology being sold and manufactured. He himself never indulged in them much, besides the more convenient appliances that he used in the kitchen or around the home. He would have to pay closer attention in classes if he wished to follow along with the tech curve that would only ramp up with time.

He let out a small yawn before slipping on his common clothes, along with the cloak they had handed out the previous day. As a member of the students, it wouldn't be right for him to walk around without his symbol of 'status' proudly dangling from his shoulders. It was only respectful to show pride in one's institute as if it were your own clan or race. The people at Arcus Remdium were all exceptional individuals that would surely make a difference one day, himself included. So he was sure to properly show that.

Coughing a few times and clearing his throat, going through a few morning vocal exercises to help him for the day, Luvon then began to brush his teeth. He was not a fan of the overly minty slime fluid that many humans used. He instead riffled through one of his pouches and pulled out an herbal mint, folded and wrapped with small bits of twine to keep it intact. Slipping the twine around his finger, he brought it up to his mouth and began brushing, making sure to go in circles and reach just about every spot of his mouth. He took a moment to collect some water from the sink and took a decent sip of it. He swished it around for just under a minute before spitting it out. With the remaining water in the small cup, he took one glug of it and sighed at the minty feeling now coating his clean teeth and tongue.

A few more minutes getting ready was all he needed before he was out his dorm door. If he understood it correctly, then today would be a free day to familiarize himself with the academy grounds, possibly meet faculty, browse and join a club and like last night, socialize with his fellow classmates. It may seem odd to some that the people here were getting so much time early on to talk with each other, but Luvon had a sneaking suspicion that it really was all part of the academy's plan and schedule. Arcus Remedium was incredibly diverse, to the point of it actually seeming a little sketchy to mash all of the cultures together. If Luvon had to guess, his teachers had already planned around this and thus granted them time to understand one another and get along without it interfering in their studies. In a way, this was already their first assignment and Luvon was determined not to fail.

Strolling the grounds proved fruitful in a few regards. He spotted some interesting clubs along with interesting people, some of which were from yesterday's banquette. There was a duo near what seemed like a gardening club with the female of the pair lightly pushing the other away (1). When he passed by some of the sports clubs he took note of a tall man dressed in odd clothing chatting with what seemed to be a startled human girl (2). He chuckled lightly at that. He supposed it was good for people to start conversing but his plans were aimed at completing each goal, one at a time. For now, Luvon would focus on clubs. Then socializing. He could even use the club he joined as a topic to bring up during future talks. Yes, this was a good plan.

For clubs, he noticed that the archery club was still taking members and were pretty intent on showing off their skills to newcomers. Some of the bowmen and women were even attempting trick shots, curving the arrow slightly to swoop around a piece of wood or hitting a pull tab off a can without damaging the can itself. Luvon was impressed but nonetheless, moved on to search for something new. He already knew enough archery to get him by in hunts. As he came to the school to learn, he would also join a club where he could learn something new.

The photography club was the first one to really stand out to him and easily drew him in. It was just across from the rest of the sporting clubs and was tucked in a bit of a corner, next to the writing club. Luvon hummed and confidently approached the stand. What ensued was the president explaining to Luvon the meaning of his club, why pictures are sacred and should be treated with care, and even a few offers to try out some of the display cameras. The elf had held a couple of cameras in his time but never actually had to take a picture before. The way the boy explained it, however, how a picture captures the moment and therefore, the memories, in an instant made photography an invaluable skill for Luvon to attain. A painting simply took too long and he was unfortunately not blessed with perfect memory. Taking photos of things that pertain to future research projects would help him observe and study any changes that may occur, or even help him find something new that he didn't notice at the moment.

If one were to look over at the photography club booth, they'd see him fiddling with a camera and trying to get the hang of it with the president calmly explaining to the man what to do.

Once she had shooed Yasuo away, her full attention was given to the representative who handed her a clipboard with a list of names already written down. It would appear not a lot of people signed up for the gardening club yet but that didn’t discourage her from writing down her own name. She listened with a hint of excitement in her eyes as she was told the times and days they would meet, practically burning the information into her mind so that she wouldn’t forget. Hopefully, Yasuo’s clubs line up with those times and days too, it would be a shame if we missed out on free time together because of our extracurricular activities. Maybe the two could decide on a club together, perhaps a sport if it really came down to it. Neither of them were that passionate about sports but both of them were rather active individuals.

Tsukiko handed back the clipboard once she was done signing it, wondering what she should do next now that she accomplished her first task in choosing a club. She could go look for her brother and help him search for a club of his own but she could also interact with the club members that were already here. Before she could decide, another student walked up to the same booth, requesting to sign up. Tsukiko looked at him, making note of the horns and tail, but most importantly the aura that enveloped him. It was mostly yellow, an indication that he was feeling happy or excited, but there was a faint color of purple. Anxiety? Regret? She wasn’t certain but she didn’t want to stare too long so she looked away, observing one of the nearby lilies that were on display.

To her surprise though, he soon enough directed his attention to her, forcing her to look his way again. Her ear twitched slightly in acknowledgment, her thoughts centering on the fact he addressed her as another demon. It was rather obvious he was a demon as well, with the horns and tail, but sometimes she forgot that kitsune were a type of demon too. They were much more uncommon than the usual demons that populated the world, often mistaken for spirits due to their fox forms.

“Tsukiko Matsuyama,” she introduced herself with a slight bow of her head. In her opinion, it was a bit unusual that he would offer her to call him by a nickname. Those were usually reserved as a term of endearment but if that’s what he wanted then she wasn’t going to argue. “My father is an herbalist, I’d help him identify and collect plants back home to make medicinal remedies,” Tsukiko explained as she stepped to the side a bit as to not block the way for other potential students with interest in the club. “It sounds rather nice to have a sibling that appreciates gardening. My brother is only interested in hunting.”

233a2847421b8f3306a628da346661cb.jpg The night had slipped away ending the ceremony for all to retire, while Aurora was begrudgingly forced to do the same, but not before noticing Tay's distress. Something inside, spurred within. Conviction of falsely accusing the man for her insecurity. She watches the male until he was out of sight, then stood still in wide wonder. Learning to be sentient is difficult, but she wasn't blind of most of her feelings. She is aware of what each are. The only problem is overcoming them in a way to pacify them.

So the elemental enters her room, and to her surprise discovers the room cozy. Comfort ensues her as she marvels at the stars above the ceiling. They were so close she could touch them. She did to her dismay. Regardless, the fact that they move made it worth staring. Aurora removes her collar and transforms into her energy form. She wanted to blend in, to feel like home. Unfortunately, sleep is not programmed therefore being forever an insomniac. Thanks the milky way effect allowed her to entertain herself for eight hours.
___________________________

The following morning, Aurora had finished reflecting yesterday's events to start a new. She decided to forget about the entire thing and start new without being insecure. If she continued to do so, she would probably end up alone without ever experiencing any kind of connection. That isn't to say, what she did was forgivable, but it wasn't bad either. She just had to go and find Tay and apologize. The last thing she wants is to see him upset. First thing's first and that is to get ready.

Out by the courtyard, an exciting day of booths have taken over. There are many decorations and people advertising themselves for whatever reason. The post sign reads "Clubs". Simple and too the point. Unfortunately, she had no knowledge in terms of school and it's quirky traditions, yet Aurora is in awe of all the brilliant shows being put just to sway the people. Her eyes begin to shimmer as she explores what each vendor has to offer. There was arts and crafts, archery, tech clubs, anime clubs, potions and gardening clubs. Various kinds to choose from.

Eventually, Aurora comes across Tay speaking to someone. A fox-like woman. She hums in thought of what to do, but instead decided on letting him be. There are plenty of opportunities for her to apologize. For now, she had to preoccupy herself with whatever the hell is going on by heading the opposite direction to avoid coming across Tay.

So many choices, she wanted to choose them all, but she just didn't know where to start. When all hope was lost, a random girl called Aurora over to her both complimenting her on her beauty claiming her to be something called a "Libra". Aurora tilted her head upon hearing the name and couldn't understand what she was talking about. The girl merely giggled and explained the purpose of her booth having to do with Astrology. There was so much more to it now that magic exists. Tator cards are involved if she ever wanted to learn about what the future holds. Intrigued, Aurora wasted no time in signing up. She wanted to know who she was and where she came from, but unfortunately the vendor gave her a deck of trator cards and a manual and told her to practice before the first day. Aurora took her offers light heartedly being oblivious and all. At least now she can figure herself out somehow.

She plops herself down on the grass and reads the manual. Apparently there is more than cards to help tell a lot of things. Perhaps she is better off joining the host club or the hunting club where she feels at home?

"Nice to meet you Tsukiko." He stated with a smile as she bowed her head and flicked her ear in response. "Oh that's awesome." Tay replied as she explained what her father did. He stepped back with her and thought it best to offer to find other clubs together. "It is nice hanging out with Ceres, she's the youngest so everyone dotes on her because she's so cute and it's awesome to see how the plants react to her. I will say it must be nice having a father whose around to teach you herbalism all the time my dad is an artist and my mom stays at home taking care of my siblings, aside when my dad is home he's trying to teach as many of the fourteen of us as he can about something so it gets pretty messy. Well I should explain my dad's an elemental so we're a bunch of cambions." Tay says rubbing the back of his head bashfully.

Tay was about to inquire of she wanted to see a picture of his family for frame of reference and to shoe off his cute little sister, but he stopped himself. "Ah sorry I'm going on about my family too much. Would you like to head over to other clubs together? We can help each other find what we're looking for. I'm trying to find the dance club & astronomy club mostly." He stated as his tail flicked from side to side nervously, he was in a good mood as he was trying to make a new friend but he couldn't help but be nervous that he's oversharing again. "So what clubs are you looking to get into, or was gardening the only one?" He asked as he offered with a gesture for the pair to start moving to find other clubs if she was interested.

Tayen ( EldridSmith EldridSmith )
Luvon ( LieutenantL LieutenantL )

Tsukiko couldn’t help but blink in surprise when Tayen shared more about his family to her. She wasn’t sure if he was just overly friendly or if this was a different custom that she was not made aware of. Either way, she found it particularly odd but not necessarily in a bad way. Fourteen children? That sounds very chaotic. She thought to herself as she tried to imagine thirteen more of her and her brother chasing each other around in their nine-tailed forms. Their house would be in shambles for sure, no doubt. Tsukiko considered sharing more about her family with him but decided against it. Her family wasn’t all that exciting compared to a family with fourteen children. They were a small kitsune family, just enjoying life and getting by - Tayen probably wasn’t interested to hear that.

“It’s alright, I don’t mind.” She reassured him when he apologized for oversharing. At his next question though, she chewed at the inside of her bottom lip in thought. Would it be a good idea to look at other clubs? Tsukiko had already signed up for the gardening club and she wasn’t sure how much time she would be able to allocate for other extracurriculars. Meanwhile, Tayen was searching for the dance and astronomy clubs - was he actually planning on joining three clubs? It didn’t really surprise her all that much that the cambion was up for the challenge, he exuded quite a bit of energy right from the start.

“Gardening was the only one that caught my interest so far,” she explained as she followed Tayen into the constant flow of student traffic. “Dance and astronomy do sound fun but I’m not sure I’d be able to handle those two on top of gardening,” Tsukiko hummed to herself, wondering which she would prefer over the other. She was leaning more towards the idea of joining the astronomy club simply because she didn’t think she’d be a good fit for the dance club. Music and dance weren’t necessarily her passions, just a simple hobby to pass the time.

As they continued to walk, another booth caught her eye. It was similar to the booth that held the gardening club, overshadowed by the many other popular ones but unique in its own display. “I’m going to check this one out,” she pointed to where she was looking, allowing Tayen to decide whether he wanted to follow her or not. Tsukiko walked up curiously, looking at the slick, cut-out squares of paper that displayed drawings. A few consisted of people, buildings, animals, and plants. “These are very good drawings,” she noted out loud. However, to her surprise, the representative of this particular club mentioned that they weren’t drawings - they were pictures.

Tsukiko tilted her head slightly in confusion as the person continued to explain, holding up a piece of foreign equipment. Something about it being called a camera and a simple press of a button would capture whatever it was pointed at. She scratched her cheek, still not quite following along with what the representative said. Her confusion was rather obvious as they handed her a camera to try for herself. “Hmm…like this…?” Tsukiko brought the camera up to her face as she squinted to look through the lens. She couldn’t see anything out of it though! “Oh-!” After being told that she was holding it backward, she carefully flipped it around and pointed the lens outwards.

She pointed the camera towards an elf with long white hair, noticing that he was also experimenting with a camera. It was good to see that she wasn’t the only one not accustomed to these types of objects. Now, what did the representative say to do? Press the top button? Holding a finger down, a small clicking sound was heard causing her to almost drop the camera in surprise. However, she managed to hold onto it firmly as the bottom of the camera spat out another square cut paper, this time displaying a drawing - no - picture, of the elf.

“Wow! This is very useful for capturing plants! Now I don’t need to draw every single one of them - father would be quite impressed as well…” she murmured the last part more to herself than to anybody else. Tsukiko looked down at the picture she held before looking back up to the elf, “you are the first picture I took,” she said, handing him the physical copy.

As Yasuo walked about, his eyes moved back and forth, looking at the different options of clubs. The only problem though was that none of them peaked his interest.

He wasn't interested in art, or science, or studying magics really. Yasuo wanted action. He wanted to do something physical. So far, it seemed like sports was his only option. He wandered over to where the sports teams were recruiting, taking a look around. Baseball, swimming, archery seemed interesting. But then Yasuo locked eyes with one of the booths. It was labeled "Rugby".

He was familiar with the concept of the game. It was soccer mixed with football, and a lot more physical contact.

Beats nothing I suppose...

He went up to the booth, approaching one of the team representatives.

"Hello there! Are you interested in joining the rugby team?"
"Uh..yeah, yeah I am."
"Awesome. We have tryouts tomorrow, in the afternoon. Here's a info sheet."

Yasuo glanced down at the piece of paper he was given, the nodded in thanks to the representative. Looking around, he couldn't find anything else that peaked his interest.

Guess I'll head back to Tsuki...

Yasuo begun to walk back to where the gardening club booth was. But it didn't take long for him to get lost in the crowd. Clearly he was still learning the layout.

Well dammit.

Looking around, Yasuo spotted a pair off to the side. One was dressed in some sort of native clothing while the other was dressed pretty modernly. He paced over to the pair, clearing his throat to make his presence known, addressing the male.

"Uh, couldn't help but notice your clothing...you do any hunting or anything like that?"

Kiree was left entirely indecisive on any of the clubs she could join with there was too many choices and none that she could think of would work well for her one hundred percent well except gymnastics Kiree had actually signed up for that one honestly it just seemed like fun, and she’d avoided the writers club after seeing the people around they seemed a bit off to her when she’d approached the stand. Sculpting was another option but she didn’t want to bring clay into the dorm because weenie might eat it Kiree wanting to make sure the smol dragon was safe however she ended up near the photography club that seemed nice you could get so much inspiration from that and there where already some interesting people like a Kitsune and a elf? The Kitsune girl looked so fluffy that would be cool Kiree thought she should ask about what hair products they used, approaching both of them with a cheerful smile small somewhat spiky tail swinging as she ended up walking up behind the two fiddling with the cameras. "hi there I'm Kiree you two seem to be having a bit of trouble with that camera i know there a bit weird but I'm sure you can get the hand of it was considering signing up myself too" Kiree would say cheerfully commenting toward both oh them happily

Luvon Adameer

DFrhA7aWAAEUlyS.jpg

Luvon was a little preoccupied with his attempt on getting the camera to work for him to notice the Kitsune girl approach the booth. He had already attempted to take a picture, one of a few students and booths off to the side. While he understood the basic concepts of how to take a picture, he still messed up by pressing the wrong button. Instead of the satisfying *click* noise, Luvon saw the back piece open up and a roll of film fall out. "Ah?"

The guy behind the counter chuckled a bit before reaching over and picking up the film from the desk. "Not that button friend. You're going to want to press the one on top." Handing him the film roll, he then explained a little of how it went back in. It was too difficult to understand and Luvon had placed the film successfully back in, along with attaching the back cover so it wouldn't fall out again. "I see. Interesting. Thank you." He gave the man a gentle smile and nodded. "Aha, no problem. Now-" The representative was interrupted when he heard the fox girl off to the side inquire about the camera.

"Hmm…like this…?”

The man seemed to expect this kind of difficulty and happily went back over to the girl, showing her that the lens was to be pointed the other way, not the looking glass that it appeared to be. Luvon lowered his own device slightly and examined the newcomer, now fully aware of her presence. She clearly wasn't human, though Luvon couldn't quite pinpoint what exactly she was. The woman had very long hair, long enough to go past her waist and then some. On top of it, her hair was a beautiful white that seemed to give her a pure and almost ethereal look. Her height wasn't too different from his own, only seeming to be a few inches shorter than himself.

“Oh-!”

The elf was broken from his musings when the girl seemingly took heed to the advice from the photography rep and managed to swiftly flip the camera around. Luvon chuckled lightly at her demeanor, obviously amused by her realization. He wasn't one to talk though. He had just as much trouble with his own camera. Speaking of which, he should get back to taking a picture to see how easy it truly was. He would have at least if the girl didn't immediately point her now straightened camera straight at him. He wasn't completely caught by surprise since he had just taken a moment to observe her, but he wasn't really expecting her to attempt a picture of himself. Would it turn out alright? Do angle and lighting truly affect the quality like the man had told him earlier? How quick was the picture to be revealed? Many questions were running through his mind and if the girl took a picture of him, it'd solve a lot of unknowns he still didn't know.

So instead of trying to get out of the way, he simply smiled softly and looked directly at the contraption. Might as well make himself a control group, yes? One click and soon after, the camera was spitting out a photo of presumably himself.

Camera type.jpg

“Wow! This is very useful for capturing plants! Now I don’t need to draw every single one of them." The girl said, taking in the picture of himself. She mumbled something afterward but he was a little too focused on the photo itself to pick up what she said. Before he could comment about whether she would show him or not, her hand was out, offering the little square card. “you are the first picture I took.” He gave her a lighter smile than the one in the photo. "Is that so? Well, it was my honor Ms...?" He left the question in the air hanging for the girl to answer. He just about commented that it was a little unusual to capture one's face in a technological box without first giving their name, but he did let it happen voluntarily.

Before long, another woman strode up to the pair, this one also with long white hair. Luvon could tell the two weren't related, however, almost immediately. The spiky tail made Luvon immediately guess demon but perhaps a half-based one. Her eyes were a deep blue, ones that made him wish to continue to stare despite proper social etiquette. His own eyes were blue but nothing close to hers. "Hi there I'm Kiree! You two seem to be having a bit of trouble with that camera. I know they're a bit weird but I'm sure you can get the hand of it. I was considering signing up myself too."

Her cheerful disposition sure was contagious, he had to say. Just the way the girl spoke brought a smile to his face. It almost reminded him of his brother, but only when he had something truly exciting to tell him. If she had this much cheer to two strangers, then he'd be interested in seeing her act around someone she knew. Giving her a smile as well, he lifted up his camera, double-checking where the capture button was located. He had an idea.

Lifting the looking lens up to his right eye, he squinted and...*click!*, captured a photo of the kitsune girl. "Like this?" It took a moment, just like with his own, but soon a square sheet came out. It took a moment for the picture to air out and show the actual photo, but there in the middle of it clearly was the very girl he took a picture of. Seemingly satisfied, he took the square sheet and handed it to the Kitsune girl with a wink. "It seems you're the first picture I took. My name is Luvon by the by. Luvon Adameer." He chuckled a little, though it was quite enough to simply seem like a small throat clearing. Looking over at the spikey-tailed demon girl, he held out the camera he was holding. "You seem to hold some knowledge over these useful devices. Are you perhaps, filled with thorough experience regarding 'capturing the moment' Kiree? Having you in the club would certainly lower the burden of having the senior members teach us the basics." He pointedly nodded his head towards Tsukiko when referring to 'us', simply assuming she had already decided on joining Photogoraphy.

unknown-1.png Penelope chuckled, amused by his unothodox translation of his surroundings. The way he perceived the setting sounded similar to what Native-Americans of the old days would sound like had they traveled from the past. "I was just thinking to myself, that's all." She said. "No, no! It's not a tribe per-se, it's a school event providing programs for us students to partake after educational hours." She tips her head up in thought of how to clarify in his way. Luckily, they came to the right person. Had it been someone else, would they be able to explain? "Wh-what it means is, that the tribe was invited here to offer after school activities such as hunting, gardening, etc. You may sign up and try them out, if you want. It's something to pass the time." She chirped. Hopefully she gave enough information for him to understand.

Penny once again fiddles with her skirt causing the person to notice as he pointed it out. Her face grows flustered having been sending the wrong idea without realizing. They respond kindly by offering their name as Kitchi and his hometown. Penny relaxes learning something about them, his attempts at proving his words if she were an heir to a throne. Penny couldn't help but find his lack of knowledge on the modern world amusing. It gave her a sense of relief that she could share some of her knowledge with them, otherwise she wouldn't know what the hell to do with herself. "I'm sure you mean no ill will. I'm just shy to meet people." She confessed "It's nice to meet you. My name is Penelope. I don't mind you asking me anything. I am happy to provide some insight. It actually makes this conversation easy." She admitted. Her confidence starts to grow and thus puffing her chest out proudly. "Whatever you want to knows I'll be sure to answer to the best of my ability."

Unfortunately, her courage deflates at the moment someone steps forward, nearly startling the girl to death. Thankfully, the person was not talking to her but seemed interested in Kitchi's attire and skills. Knowing that, the bluenette finds the time to compose herself and take in the newcomer's features. Tall, white hair flowing behind him like a milky river. What's notable about him, are his white, fox ears, fangs and sharp eyes. It's almost as though he was some sort of animalistic-demon. Had he noticed her gawking, she blushed and turned away biting her lower lip returning to her timid habit of rubbing her skirt. She hoped she hadn't been rude for staring too long.

Kitchi patiently listened to Penelope as she explained her expression came from self reflection, Kitchi began to think she was one who wasn't much for having people around, at least large groups which made sense, his village shaman was the same way. She had chuckled when he started speaking, perhaps his way of speech was too odd or humorous in some manner, or perhaps she was just giggling at him for no reason like one girl back at his village, regardless he would investigate this later.

She soon continued saying no tribe laid claim to these lands, however there seemed to be some exception as she mentioned school, which was providing events for everyone to learn. As he thought about it, things finally clicked into place that this land was under the rule of the man and women who spoke yesterday, and like great creatures they allowed much in their territory but their rule was law. One such rule must be that all must share without settling or hunting in any land not allotted to them to use. However he had much to understand about these 'clubs', even after her explanation he did not know what was meant by 'sign up', the shaman saw signs in nature and magic, but Kitchi could not read bones or other things like the shaman could.

At his prior mentioning of her perceived nervousness she grew red, she then told him her name, and what seemed to be a tribe, but she described it like a location. She explained she was shy, to which Kitchi nodded, he hadn't the word for it but he understood what she meant, as he thought so already from her expressions. "It is nice to know you Penelope." He responded as he tucked away his pipe, this was not the place to use it nor was anyone in the school a person to use it with, at least for now. "I still carry many questions, your offer of knowledge and insight is greatly valued. A trade must be fair, I will lend you my strength in return for this knowledge. I must ask these of you, what is this signing up you speak of and how does it work, and why do you laugh so, is my speaking to be ascertained as humorous to people of other regions, or is it perhaps you are like the village girl whose cheeks grow red and giggles when passed by?"

However before he could get any answers from her, she deflated like that of a deer drawing it's last breath or when caught in shock. Had she been standing up Kitchi guessed she would have stepped back to try and get away from the third person. "I do." He replied with a nod to the newcomer. "Please give my guest some space, you have startled her." Kitchi asks as he gestures to Penelope.

Tay could tell Tsukiko was a bit taken aback by the size of his family, he got this rather often considering few people were willing to have families so large. He signed in relief when she assured him he didn't overshare. However she seemed to get a bit nervous as he mentioned other clubs and only being interested in gardening thus far. "Ah I see, well I'll see you there at least." He said with a smile. Still her comment of not being sure she could be in more than one club didn't seem right to him with how things were laid out, as such he spoke his mind.

"Well they wouldn't offer THIS many clubs if we wouldn't have the time to go to at least a few of them." He pointed out as there appeared to be well around 200 clubs or more. Some of them hyper specific, others broad, some broad with specific subsections of the club, regardless there were a large amount. Still they wandered together until she spotted a booth she liked and decided to head towards, he looked over to see Kiree over there and decided it best to find his own clubs in the meantime. "I'll have to pass for now, thank you for the offer. Say hello to Kiree, my sister when you get over there." He said with a smile and a wave before heading out to try and find the two clubs related to his passions.

Finding a little niche or corner where he could stand without being crowded Marcus took several controlled breaths. "There's so many, I think we're all supposed to pick at least one." He glanced down at Noodle, checking her for reassurance rather than an opinion. He was mildly aware that he'd got reliant on her but they'd grown up together like twins. Constant companions. The only constant in his life. "Maybe...maybe I can find something we can use. Something that wouldn't be a waste of time." Closing his eyes, head down just a bit, trusting Noodle to keep watch, he spent a few long moments getting ready to take a risky chance.

Rejoining the flow of student bodies he exited the castle again and with great determination started searching the avenues around the club booths. There seemed to be no organisation to the layout so he kept to the right hand side of the path and kept going. "How did students already decide to set up clubs? Running their own clubs. Maybe they came already planning a club." His musings were intended for Noodle to hear and to voice his thoughts ."It's weird. We're the first class. No seniors. Next year there will be freshmen to join up as new members. It feels kind of cree-" Marcus stopped mid word and mid step having just discovered a club which he had to join.

Putting their names on the signup sheet, joining their given names with a slash mark, he took note of when the first meeting would be and where. The 'where' bothered him a little because he had not learned the layout of the facility yet. Shockingly he came upon a second club that he was pretty sure would not be a waste of potential-study-time. After he signed up for a club focusing on the identification, preparation and use of wild plants. Things like consolidating two entire biospheres into one resulted in things like biodiversity destabilisation. Some plants from one choked out plants from another and some were similar enough to crossbreed. Edible and medicinal plants might not exactly be common in a highly urban area but there were parks and if he could treat the flu or a bad scrape with free plants he was all in. ...Also, Noodle tended to not react well to the usual chemical medications. So being able to be sure he could treat her ills and ails was a benefit too.

There were a lot of people, excited to see and discover and become part of something new. Finding a calm space where he could write down the information he'd been given about both clubs was not easy. Eventually he got jostled and pushed along until the space around a single, large tree--one not native to base earth--and he made his way to it. At last with some space and elbow room he had another sudden realisation, this time it was that he remembered having a small map of the interior and exterior of the school. Opening the map as soon as he fished it out of his duffel, he searched to find the locations of the clubs and made note of the instructors' names.

"We're sorry," he reflexively both complied and turned to get eyes on the speaker, anticipating an attack. After having turned to see the giant and a girl with blue hair he also realised that someone else had spoken at the same time he had. And that other person was the one being addressed. Shutting his mouth and pressing his lips together, hoping to convey the message that he had shut up and was sorry for interrupting. He also stepped backward to put the tree between himself and as many of the others as possible. Just in case.

“Tsukiko Matsuyama,” she introduced herself when prompted to by the elf. As with any introduction, she bowed her head - a sign of respect. Before she was able to ask for his own name, another student approached them. She too had long white hair, a trait that all three shared. Her most noticeable features were her horns and spiked tail though, making her seem more familiar. She introduced herself as Kiree before reassuring them that they would eventually grow accustomed to using a camera. “Nice to meet you, Kiree. I’m Tsukiko Matsuyama.” Another bow was offered to the female before she turned to look back at the elf.

Tsukiko blinked slightly in surprise when she heard the click of the camera, seeing that the elf’s camera was pointed at her. She supposed it was only fair for him to take a picture of her considering she had done the same not even five minutes ago. Tsukiko looked down at the picture he handed her, her lips curving into a smile. She was certain that her brother would be interested in this equipment as well, maybe not for long but probably for a little while. “It is a very good picture. Thank you, Luvon.” The kitsune carefully tucked the picture in between the inner and outer collar of her kimono for safekeeping.

She turned her attention back to Kiree when Luvon had addressed her. “Yes, it would be less intimidating to learn from you, Kiree - rather than the upperclassmen.” Tsukiko herself still needed to officially sign up for the club but she was practically convinced to join already after her first successful picture. As she studied the horned woman more, the realization finally dawned on her. “Ah - are you Tayen’s sibling?”

“Great to meet you Tsukiko“ kiree replied but she couldn’t help but giggle at the elven boy antics taking a photo of the fluffy Kitsune girl and winking at her telltale signs of him being the flirtatious sort or even just playful honestly those two tended to be rather difficult to distinguish most of the time. Letting the other two talk for a moment Kiree would quickly go and sigh herself up for the club having made her decision rather easily. But hearing the mans name Kiree spun around on the spot hair flicking around behind her. “Luvon Adameer? That a nice name but sure I’ll be happy to teach you some of the basics of camera operation this is gonna be fun” kiree would chirp out excitedly turning to Tsukiko whom had asked if she was tayen’s sibling. Kiree nodded rapidly. “Yup that’s right just one my many brothers and sisters, tay a bit shy but that’s ok” Kiree replied however thinking for a moment she’d then Grab one of the cameras pulling the elf and Kitsune closer in beside her and the flipping the camera around so they’d all get a photo together. “smile” she’d say before clicking the camera the device printing out a fairly ok shot off the 3 of them. “Tada one of the fun things you can do with camera selfies“

Luvon was satisfied with Tsukiko's thanks at his first picture. Surely he could improve but for the limited knowledge he had on the subject, he too thought it was a good picture. After handing the photo off to the girl, he followed it up with his own small bow. He never really had to bow to anyone, out in the forest and mountains, but it seemed to be a bit more custom-based in the world, especially Kushingar.

Turning his attention over to Kiree, he stayed quiet and simply gave a soft smile and nod, allowing the girl to get excited about the future of the club. Tsukiko backed him up on the matter of feeling more comfortable with someone in their own class helping, rather than the upperclassmen who they would no doubt, spend less time with as the year went on. It made sense, unfortunately. There was no doubt that more and more responsibility would cling onto them as they rose through the years. Maybe that was why the facility suggested joining more than one club? It could be a system they used to let students figure out what they truly liked before settling on one later in the years. Once again Luvon found himself thinking just how impressive the academy was, for most things to have been planned out from the get-go.

“Ah - are you Tayen’s sibling?”

He let his focus come back, letting the thoughts about the system take a back seat to the current conversation. Tsukiko seemed to know someone named 'Tay' and Kiree was apparently his sibling? Glancing at the girl in question, he noticed her smile grow even wider, her head bobbing up and down quickly and rapidly. If Luvon had any suspicion of her horns being fake, those suspicions were gone now. They would have surely fallen off with the amount of movement the girl expressed with a simple nod. He found himself chuckling to himself at her contagious excitement. “Yup that’s right, just one of my many brothers and sisters. Tay's a bit shy but that’s ok.” Many brothers and sisters? That was something the elf wouldn't ever be able to relate to. His brother was a bit of a handful on his own. He couldn't imagine a full house filled with mini Avrons.

Shuttering and shaking off the feeling, Luvon was about to ask how Tsukiko knew of this 'Tay' and if Kiree could introduce him. It was simply by chance but Luvon wasn't about to let the chance of joining a friend group slip from his grasp. He already enjoyed Kiree's contagious attitude and Tsukiko seemed like a fine person to have a chat with. Perhaps she would answer a few questions about her exact race and how the Merge had actually affected her kind. He'd be deeply interested in knowing how other races integrated into this world's society, besides himself. If this Tay proved to be a kind soul like Kiree claimed, then Luvon was sure to have a small but reliable group of people he could confide in.

Before he could get a word out though, the girl immediately charged into his personal bubble and looped an arm around his shoulder. Doing the same with Tsukiko, the girl then flipped the camera in her hands around and pointed it at the white-haired trio. This time, Luvon was a little more than surprised to properly smile, despite the quick "Smile." from Kiree and when the *click* went off, he had to put all his effort into simply not blinking. Once again, a small square sheet came out of the box, showing the trio in all their glory. As he suspected, he looked a little awkward. He was crouched down a bit and his eyes weren't completely focused on the camera, almost looking off to the side more than anything. His shirt was a little ruffled from the sudden pull but at least he managed to look neutral in the end and not surprised. “Tada! One of the fun things you can do with a camera, selfies.“

"Selfies hmm? Ah, I see." He gave it a thought then almost immediately a candlestick went off in his head. "Like 'self-portrait' yes? So cameras can be used in this manner as well. This could prove to be even more useful knowing that I can capture myself without the need of aid..." He started to mumble off before shaking away the feeling of getting lost in thought once again. Glancing back at the photo, he hummed. "It's a nice picture, yes. However, it contains all three of us. Perhaps we could use the camera to take a picture of the picture so we can all receive our own copy."

Tsukiko’s chest couldn’t help but swell a bit with pride when Kiree confirmed her assumptions of being Tayen’s sibling. The two didn’t have the same hair color as she and Yasuo did but there was no denying the horns and the tail along with the striking blue eyes. She couldn’t help but wonder which one was older, maybe that would have been a better question to ask. Tayen did mention he had thirteen other siblings, including Kiree. The only piece of information that stuck with her was that their youngest sibling, Ceres, liked plants as well. Was Tayen the oldest? Or was Kiree? Or maybe neither of them were and they were right in the middle of the siblings in relation to age. There was also the statement that Kiree made about Tayen being shy. If she recalled correctly, Tayen had approached her with quite the energetic aura. It was a far cry from being shy. She had a lot more questions she wanted to ask but she felt they were all unnecessary as they didn’t relate to the current topic at hand - photography club.

On that note, Kiree had pulled the two of them close, catching the kitsune by surprise. She wasn’t used to physical contact outside of family members or close friends, and she sure wasn’t comfortable being this close to someone she had just met. Tsukiko had watched Kiree point the camera lens to the three of them before prompting them to smile. She forced an awkward grin but she looked stressed out more than anything once the photo developed. “I see,” she nodded her head slightly as she immediately pulled away from the female student once the picture of them was revealed. Her fluffy ears stood tall, appearing more alert as Kiree’s gesture had caught her off guard.

The idea of a ‘selfie’ was rather intriguing but she would have preferred to have been notified prior to the picture to get accustomed to the close contact. The selfie didn’t look as flattering as the picture Luvon had taken of her. The camera had a way of capturing everything it saw through its lens, including her discomfort. Tsukiko didn’t want to burden them with her own emotions though so she did her best to brush off that feeling, her normal expression quickly resurfacing. “Good idea, Luvon,” she nodded as she pointed her own camera to the picture they had taken. With another click, her device eventually spat out another picture, displaying a more awkward-looking photo. It was obvious that the photo was capturing another photo, the colors and the lighting weren’t the same as the original.

“Hmm, it doesn’t look as great as the first one,” she hummed in thought as she compared the two. “Maybe we can just take two more pictures together?” Tsukiko suggested reluctantly, knowing fully well that would include squishing close together again.

"yup exactly like a self portate really useful for fun moments like this as for the picture oh well there are way to copy it too but i can get that done for you another time sound good?" Kiree chirped cheerfully seeming oblivious to the discomfort she might have caused with her impromptu selfy huddle. spinning on the spot cheerfully she'd place the camera back down her hair twirling behind her as she did so. however, she'd then turn to Tsukiko. "im sorry if I made you uncomfortable with that I just got a bit too excited there happens occasionally you know?" kiree explained apologetically. before picking up the camera again. "ok you know what two more photos would work a lot better actually this time you two can be ready instead of me just going in and doing it without thinking." Kiree announce cheerfully puffing her chest out a bit all proud of herself. "ok guys get ready this time and ill get the camra set easy pezy"

Yasuo gave the male a curious look.

Startled...her?

He glanced down at the other in the group, a younger looking girl, who quickly looked away from him, acting nervous. She looked a little younger as well, but couldn't have been more than a couple years younger.

"Oh, sorry. I uh..."

Yasuo stepped back a little, giving the other two more room. He cleared his throat a little.

"The name's Yasuo. Yasuo Matsuyama. From Treetop, if you know where that is."
He grinned slightly, then looked back towards the male. Yasuo wasn't quite aware that Kitchi wasn't quite acquainted with the academy and how it works.

"I was wondering, did you find any clubs related to um...wildlife and all that? So far nothing I've seen sounds interesting. But I saw that this place had a rugby team so I thought why not, ya know? Beats all the other clubs I've seen so far-"

Yasuo stopped himself mid sentence, glancing back towards the girl. He was never one to shy away from social interaction, but he wasn't insensitive. He could sense a bit of uneasiness from her. In a way, it reminded Yasuo of his sister.

I hope she's doing alright on her own...

His gaze moved back to the both of them. It was only then that Yasuo noticed a third, towards the back and hidden by the tree nearby. How he didn't notice them earlier was a bit confusing, since Yasuo's senses were better than normal. Perhaps it was when he was talking a lot that he didn't pay much attention to the surrounding area.

Whatever the case may have been, Yasuo waved them over.

"Don't be shy, we dont bite."

Yasuo waited for the newcomer to join the group. His hand extended outward slightly, palm up, in an inviting manner.

"Enough from me. Who might you all be?"
