Can I submit this kagu? It's the best picture I've ever taken and I loves it ^-^

Woo, I made a thing!!

So, this painting, which looks like it was painted by a fourth grader, was my first attempt at painting on wood. It's painted on "junk wood" that was destined for waste at a lumber yard. I then sanded the wood down to a flat surface and painted over it with a sealant, then I used Acrylics that my friend so graciously made (and let me use for free) to paint this... lovely...? piece of art!

I attempted to paint Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the British isles, and just outside of my window for a short time when I was living in Scotland. It's really quite beautiful.

WELL. I'm not meant to be a painter in life, but I had fun either way.

Postin' so I can find this again.

Nice to have an excuse to dig into my bags 'o crap I keep in case they might be useful for art.....
