"If I have to give you a reason, you don't want me to that much." Harley reasoned, arching an eyebrow. She wouldn't compete for the girl's affection.

Jesse leaned in and kissed Jenna, hoping to surprise her. "Don't be sorry." He murmured, smirking.

"It's not that I don't want you..." She said laying back on the floor and resting her head on her arms. There was an awkwardness about the girl, "I've never kissed anyone in a meaning full way," there was a brief pause, "not even in a normal family way. Not even my parents."

"Not at all. I didn't know why you did it at first, but I certainly didn't mind." Jesse laughed, slinging an arm around her.

"Then I'm not going to rush you. Take your time." She offered, staring up at Kat.

She smiled lightly at his words as he slung his hand she lowered her head onto his chest and placed a hand round his waist. "Well you did pick up why?" She gulped lightly

"I assumed." He said, shooting a meaningful look toward Ashe. "But whatever it takes for you to attack me again like that, I'm fine with." He teased.

She shit him a look as her head looked up from his chest "hmm look on the brightside, your lips didnt get chapped" she grinned

"You're welcome to fix that." He offered, smirking. He heard a slight noise and looked up, standing to check it out.

She heard the slight noise but she remained sitting, it didn't sound like shuffling, nor like steps "Maybe it's a rat or something budge a little, didnt sound like a zombie or a person as of that fact

"I can't see anything, probably a dog." Jesse shrugged. "I've seen a few since this started. Since The Event, most animals had died, since they didn't get infected.

"Can't we capture it and eat it... we all haven't had nice boost of proteins" she suggested as she grabbed the energy dink they were sharing and took a sip, placing it diwn

"No, we aren't eating the dog!" Jesse said, laughing. "I like dogs! Kill a cow instead!"

She frowned, "Do you by any chance see a cattle around? If so by all means lead me to it... " she said with a frown "a dog is what we got offered.

"A dog ran off when he saw me, and if I catch him, I'm training him to help us out." He said sternly. He had had a dog before the event, like a lot of veterans.

He nodded and sat down beside her, stretching luxuriously. "I'm exhausted." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes.

"I know, you look like shit... no offence" she sighed as she can see the exhaustion from his attire "Just close your eyes for a bit Jesse, try" she said encouraginly "For your own sake, you'll be able to perform better well rested"

"Sleep isn't worth it." He said bluntly. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw flashbacks that haunted him at every moment.

"and why isn't sleep worth it Jesse?" She turned to face him now, still close to him and on her knees, sitting. Her look was that of utter seriousness.

"My terrors aren't dead, unlike the rest of yours." He said simply. "They haunt me every night, and it's driving me slowly insane.

"Jesse you can't keep these horrors tormenting you. True it's hard to forget... but they'll only cripple you from the inside" she slowly placed her palm on his own, stroking it gently with her thumb "You just need to replace those nightmares with dreams... I know its easier said then done... but it doesnt hurt to try.." she said quietly

"I've tried many times. They've bothered me since I deployed." He smirked, playing with his gun.

"Deployed?" She furrowed a brow, "you tried alright.. could be that you need an ideal dream" she smiled, "Aren't you willing to give it another shot? With me?"

Jesse tried for a smile and failed. "Thanks for the offer. But it won't help. I'm going to go for a walk." He muttered, making his way out of the store.

"Alright, suit yourself" and with a sigh she went and lowered herself on her blanket, resting her head on her bag, she still shivered alittle but she slowly closed her eyes, falling into a very light sleep.

Ashe


Ashe was sitting next to her bag. She looked around the group. It had gotten quiet. She got up, grabbed her bag and walked towards Ryder, who was still sitting at the same spot as he sat before. She sat herself next to him and grabbed one of the bottles of alcohol out of her bag. "I remember you said you wanted to get drunk?" she asked, smiling.

Kat sat back up to look at her. Moving closer age reached out pushing hair behind the girls ear, "you're sweet..." Kat said before cupping the girls cheek leaning forwards and kissing her.
