JESSE

"Ah, no muerte for me, either?" He asked, faking a pout. "If you insist, I suppose." He laughed, putting his book away. He rubbed his neck slightly, frowning at the itch around the bite.

JENNA

She was getting her pack and belongings straight not far from them, she heard them laugh and chat which gave her a certain feeling inside, a feeling she was not accustomed to have. She tried not to look their way , she was happy that Ashe was thinking again but the fact of the scene in front of her she was ... whats the word, jealous. She never quite knew what jealousy felt like. She managed her things and sighed avoidng to glance her way otherwise the feeling seemed to strengthen. She slung her crossbow on her back and ventured outside, better then being in there.

Jesse heard Jenna leave and stood up hurriedly. "I'm going to be right back." He muttered, running after her. "Where are you going?" He asked, panting as he caught up.

JENNA

She sighed and halted herself in her steps. "I was going to find us our truck, or at least some engine parts." she remained with her back towards him and frowned "Better than staying in there doing nothing." she said plainly, she didn't want to quite to talk to him in that tone.

JESSE

"Did I do something? And do you know what kind of engine parts we need?" He asked, eyebrow arched. He had no idea what was wrong with her, but he could assume.

JENNA

She sighed and contained herself, her hands clenching into fists however unclenched quickly. "Yes .. I do" she said quietly however she couldn't much contain herself, as to the first question "No you didn't, that's the problem." she turned this time facing him with a certain determined look in her eyes and genuine hurt with the utter display she had. Without any other word she decided she would go for it, she done it once and he done it once to her. She ventured forward towards the guy, her hands cupped gently his jaw-line, capturing her lips to his own once more, more familiarized now. She just wanted his answer, she didn't want to have false hope, she wanted to make sure. They both were in the field of view from where Jesse had left Ashe.

JESSE

Jesse was confused, but willing, kissing Jenna back. That's when it hit him. She thought he was interested in Ashe. Wasn't Ashe interested in Ryder? He didn't know and at that moment, didn't care. He kissed Jenna deeply before heading a quiet shuffling behind him. He whipped around, his gun in his hand. "Get back." He ordered, not sure how many there were.

That was when Jenna confirmed that he was willing to, she could put her mind at rest, however as she heard the shuffling she cursed under her breath cause of the undead. She grasped her crossbow and loaded it, and set an aim "No, not this time Jesse, I am coming with you for experience no, then why not start now"

JESSE

Jesse hesitated, but nodded. "Aim for the top of the head, you have to wreck the brain. Beheading them can be a mistake, if you step near the head, it can still bite. Aim just above the eyes." He ordered gently, gun raised just in case. He only saw one undead, so it should be fine.

JENNA

She nodded and lifted her crossbow at an angle, tilting her head and closed one eye for a clearer field. She had her finger ready on the trigger and set it in the middle , in between the undead's most probably decayed eyebrows and a little above that spot to hit the bull's eye. She bit her lower lip in concentration, her aim was never one to fail her as the zombie came in her shooting zone. She pulled the trigger sending the arrow whizzing directly in the middle of his assumed brain which with the pressure that the arrow was travelling, nailed his head to the wall, fatally dislodging his head from his body as it draped forward. She lowered her crossbow and loaded it just in case. "That will make a nice effigy." She checked behind them and coast was clear just in case.

JESSE

Jesse nodded approvingly and walking forward to retrieve her arrow. "Good job. You see, it's easy." He smiled. Every noise made him turn, wary as he was.

"I basically just forbade you from dying. I said, 'No! No death!'" He translated, laughing.

HARLEY

"Not at all. Your face is incredibly hot." Harley smirked, wrapping an arm around her waist.
She looked at the girl laughing awkwardly, "thanks?" She leant back into the other girls arm before smiling and saying, "we should...get a move on."

HARLEY

"Sure. Motorcycle or car?" She asked. She preferred motorcycles, but with her legs, she wasn't sure she could drive either.

JENNA

She hummed in agreement but sighed as she went towards him to get her arrow "Well, true but remember that is only one, it's quite different in groups, for a ranger it's kind of hard sometimes.. especially crossbows, they are slow to re-load them." she took a hand out for her arrow.

JESSE

"I'd suggest learning to hack away with a knife while you reload. Or use a gun." He suggested. He opened his messenger bag and pulled out a Swiss Army knife. "Here, I'll teach you how to use this." He offered, inspecting it and handing the handle to her.

Ashe

Ashe had watched Jesse and Jenna kiss. She wasn't sure how she felt about it. She liked Jesse, but she only knew him for a few days. She looked away, slowly crawling towards her bag and grabbing one of the bottles out of it. She looked around, opened it and took a huge sip before hiding it again.

JENNA

She strapped her cross-bow to her back and took the knife in hand expecting it "Hmm I have a set of throwing knives, " she pointed at the holster round her thigh "But I never quite found them of great use... And I never found guns to my hand, thy recoil and makes me lose my aim you know?" she said plainly.

"What's easier for you?" She looked at her quietly with a small smile.

JESSE

"I don't mean throwing knives. I mean stabbing. Come here." He ordered, walking behind her and positioning her carefully. He didn't realize he was gripping her waist for a few moments, and released her abruptly. "Now stab me." He ordered, standing in front of her in a seemingly calm position.

"I'm not sure I can drive either. Maybe we should go back and get one more person." Harley advised, cursing her weakness.

"Okay...but it's unlikely there will be anyone there who wants to come with us." She said quietly looking her.

JENNA

She grasped the knife in hand and nodded as she blushed lightly as she felt his sudden touch round her waist but she gulped and focused on his words. As he bluntly said stab me she raised an eyebrow but she didn't hesitate, she wanted to learn, with her knife wielding hand she stepped forward and was about to slash towards his sides as they were open. She had no intentions on harming him of course but simply did as he asked.

Jesse moved with the skill of years her training. He grabbed her wrist and bent carefully, making sure he didn't hurt her. In an instant, the knife was in his hand against her throat, and she was pulled flush against him. "Zombies are slow. They can't defend themselves. But if you're attacking a person, you don't know how much training they've had. So prepare for the worst, and have a back up plan." He murmured in her ear, releasing her.

HARLEY

"Jesse would, but he's going to stay with Jenna. Ashe might." She offered, shrugging. "Or Ryder or Jack."

She nodded quietly "okay...but before we go back I have a question," she mumbled scratching the back of her neck awkwardly.

JENNA

As she went for that slash she gasped out as she felt his counter attack on her and the cold blade was against her throat, her head up as her body was flush against as her breath hitched also with the sudden shock, her hair was covering part of her face as she nodded lightly as he released her, she faced him once again. "If a zombie did that, it'll have a feast" she frowned. She hoped she never had to use stabbing against a person but she doubted that wouldn't happen. "If I am disarmed, what else can I don... I cant use my fists, my hit ain't strong enough. Or maybe a kick in the crotch" she smirked.
