Fantasy Apocalypse: Not your typical 'zombie'

I look at you and say, "Depends on his urges and how strong they are."

I reply "okay ill follow your lead on this."

"Felix! I've done my best to take care of my... urges. I can control myself now." Devin called out to his frie... acquaintance. he cautiously moved into the room the others were in. "Please trust me."

 

[Sea Jelly]

"Devin, I really want to, but those were the same words i said to myself when i joined my first group os survivors, until i smelled human blood, I lost it Devin, I killed them all." I finish with a look of anger and sadness.

 

[Aggiewon]

"I... I understand. I just thought you should know something. I think I know were a cure is. I'm going to try to find it. I would like to let you know we're it might be so you can try to go there if I don't make it."


Devin quickly drew a map showing were the lab was. "Don't come unless a drone with a scar on his left cheek comes to you, yes I'm a faker." He answered the inquisitive look. "I'll be leaving now." With that he turned and left.

I look at Devin, "Im not saying you have leave, im saying that if you stay, you'll be watched, twenty-four seven, by me."

I came back to the ground floor of the bookstore, shoving my book in my backpack and flinging my backpack over my shoulder.

 

[Cruor Flumine]

Marcus soon followed, placing a hand on Addie's shoulder. "Wanna grab anything else before we go?" He asked.

 

[AndroidEighteen]

I shook my head. "Nope, I just needed to grab my backpack and a book. I'm good."

 

[Cruor Flumine]

He smiled. "Alright, lets get going then, Felix already went ahead of us."

 

[Becauseroleplay]

Ruby stopped at the corner of the street and looked over her shoulder, hoping she'd lost the zombies. There was no sign of them, so she allowed herself a moment to relax. She hadn't been able to find any food for a couple of days, and she'd been forced to try and steal some from one of the zombies' hideouts. It hadn't gone tremendously well, and she had had to leave the goods behind to escape as well. A movement caught her eye, and she instinctively shrank back into the shadows. Two figures (@ClickyVikki and @Cruor Flumine ) rounded the corner. They didn't move like zombies, but even if they were, she needed supplies too badly to care. She followed them, trying to keep as quiet and hidden as possible. With any luck they would lead her to a base, or at least one of them would have food in one of their bags she could take. She heard one of them say something, and moved closer to listen in. This might be important.

"Do you know how to get there?" I glanced around nervously, having a sort of bad feeling, as if we were being watched.

 

[Becauseroleplay]

Ruby saw the girl look around, and stepped backwards to avoid being seen. As she did, however, her foot caught a loose stone and sent it clattering across the street. She swore under her breath and tensed, watching the pair.

I look at Leon and Devin, "Addie and Marcus are taking awhile, Im going to the bookstore to find out why. And Leon, if Devin stays while Im gone, watch him."

I stared at the stone for a moment before pulling out mother's knife instinctively. "Uh Marcus..? I think someone's watching us or something.." I glance at him with worry on my face.

 

[Sea Jelly]

After saying that I run to the store getting there in less than thirty seconds, just in time to see Addie pull out her knife, "Addie what's wrong?" I ask as I approach pulling out my bow.

 

[Becauseroleplay]

She watched them, not wanting to speak or move just yet. It would be much easier if she could just get some food and get away, without having to confront anyone.

I look up at Felix and glance at the stone that had come to a stop. "I'm pretty sure someone's watching us.."

 

[Sea Jelly]

I instantly start smelling the air, and turn towards the direction of a unfamiliar human scent and aim the bow, "I can smell you, come out."

 

[Becauseroleplay]

She sighs and steps out into the open. Today was not going well. "Just me, don't shoot."

 

[Sea Jelly]

"Just you? That's a line you use when you know the person aiming at you. Why are you watching her?" I say nodding my head to Addie

 

[Becauseroleplay]

"Who says I was watching her? I could have just been standing here, minding my own business... It's not like I'm a zombie out on the hunt or something."

 

[Sea Jelly]

"You were hiding, not standing, and I can tell your not a zombie you smell like a human."

 

[Becauseroleplay]

Ruby frowns "You can tell the difference by smell? I thought only zo-" she breaks off, making the connection, and backs away a step
