CONCEPT
Our heroes find themselves in the bustling city of Denver, where snowboarders thrive, and rent prices are skyrocketing higher than the Rocky Mountains. Housing is scarce, much less a nice, clean, warm apartment. When a classified ad from an older woman wanting to sublet her apartment hit the local newspaper, our intrepid MC's, assuming the poor woman had little understanding of the value of her property, jumped on the opportunity for a spacious apartment above a coffee shop in hip, downtown Denver. Only to find that she'd given the same offer for one person per bedroom in the five(?) bed unit. One that would allow our precious Oatmeal to reside, no less!

In addition to the perils inside their four walls, living downtown in a city comes with it's own slew of challenges. Faced with opposition from all directions, one question remains? Is the rent control worth it?

In this economy? There can only be one answer.

Grayson

Thrown into a cohabitation warzone, our favorite neurotic lawyer is fielding offenses and unlikely alliances left and right in an effort to keep a stress free and cleanly house for his darling Oatmeal to thrive.

Akihiko

Akihiko is on a self care journey, striving to become a better person does not, unfortunately, apply to her interactions with her sudden and unexpected new roommates. Former yakuza turned domme and self defense instructor, Aki is ready for whatever life throws at her, except, maybe genuine friendship.

Rajah

The elegant gallerist of refined and peculiar taste brings with him a soothing charm, stained with his skirt chasing and paranoid tendencies. Will his cool demeanor calm tensions, or will his actions cause tempers to flare unmitigated?

Beck

A healer and peacekeeper by nature, but hardly a pacifist. Beck has slept in far rougher conditions, sometimes costing more money. She's got school to focus on. Beck is alright with ending fights, but she simply doesn't have the time to insert herself into whatever these clowns have going on.

Kelly

Good natured and perpetually optimistic, Kelly would be a great neighbor except for his occupation and forgetful tendencies. Music often booms from his apartment, followed by rushed apologies and unkept promises to turn it down. Kelly is always a friendly face, if a little bad with boundaries.

Meilin

One half of the buildings resident golden retriever duo, Meilin is both a ray of sunshine and absolute nuisance of a neighbor. Meilin is a pretty face in the hallway, and an enigma, as no one who regularly bears witness to his antics fully understands how he's kept himself functional this long.

Hana

Hana is not adjusting well to cohabitation, to put it lightly. Hot and cold, graceful and watching. Everything is her business, but the presence of the roommates it grating. She wants to be included anyway.
