appearance
louise is attractive. like, seriously attractive. but to one each's own, right? many has considered and agreed that she is more than the standard 'pretty'. she's both adored and envied for her stunning looks, often flirted with by boys and girls alike. only for those admirers to be cut off due to her character.
there's just something her dutch heritage of the classical pair; blonde hair and vibrant blue eyes that makes her different from the other blondes with blue eyes. some argue her intelligence has something to do with it, others say it's the fascinating disposition of detachment yet allure. maybe it's even the slight subtlety in her features. and louise is very well aware of this.

persona
at first glance, louise appears silent, calm and deadly serious, a talent which plays its part nicely. her eyes aren't afraid and her lips are unused to smiling at strangers. she's a character of apathy with the only trace of passion going into her academics, world issues and those special few who earned a place in her heart.
while her clever or sharp remarks comes in a form that shows off her open nature, where she is a confident girl-- social, humorous, charming. she does not stay that way for long as she is disinterested in joining idle chatter (friends may receive exceptions). just because you're good at something, in this case, socialising, doesn't necessarily mean you have to enjoy it.
louise speaks in brutal honesty and harsh reality. she's often critical of the things she studies. it seems like misplaced hatred to an outsider, but it's actually derived from her thirst for knowledge. questions have often lead to interesting answers in her experience. she finds enquiring to be beneficial and is more than happy to play the role of the devil's advocate.
her other most noteworthy attribute is her laziness, which is why some call her sloth (though you have to be on buddy-buddy levels for that privilege). louise likes mental stimulation and gets bored easily. she thrives on her own rare curiosity to keep her determination in check. however, for the sake of her own dignity, she does not rely on others, not even her wand, regarding all the work her indolence cost her.
all in all, keep in mind that louise, is someone you do not want to mess with.

in depth
louise naomi alderliesten was born to a pure blood who married a half-blood, but due to much financial issue, they had to move into her single aunt's over in hoofddorp.
as a child, louise witnessed a lot of things a child was not supposed to witness. even then she had a clear head and a mature mentality. never used her powers despite the growing development of her magic and could stay home alone by the age of five. she couldn't say the same for her cousins, sofie and stefan.
they used to fight, make a mountain out of a molehill. she, the curious little girl had always just looked on, observing their nature. she didn't have the authority to stop them anyway, she was just five to the six and seven year olds. but one day, one of their fights got out of hand. she couldn't remember what they were saying, she just sat there, watching when she should've act. stop them. their voices were raised, practically screaming at each other's throats.
stefan lashed out, and the aggression that his magic showed was evident. sofie was yanked of the window by an invisible force and thrown from the second floor. neither of them knew what to do. stefan ran into his room, and louise looked down, between the shards of glass at sofie's body. cut and gashes littered her skin, her legs were bent underneath her, sitting in a pool of her own blood. louise called an ambulance then tried her best to keep her voice even as she told her mother what happened over the phone.
sofie didn't make it. things spiralled downwards from then on. her aunt committed suicide not long after, and stefan became a new addition to her home.
besides sitting together in a room with a child therapist, they spent some heartwarming times together; chess and puzzles, laughs and dutch banter, admiring vincent van gogh and celebrating birthdays, despite the tense atmosphere that louise easily suppressed. this is where louise adopted a somewhat cold facade, uncaring about anyone but her cousin, and loved and cherished him so. but this moment did not last, as her parents soon died in a car accident. she couldn't be bothered, she was over it in no time, but glossing over her grieving period took a bit of a toll on her. say, an existential crisis that attacked her later in her teenage years.
both future wizards were placed in an orphanage where they were later adopted by separate families.
louise got into a loving family of two men, heavily goofy and sarcastic, who gave her the attention she needed to properly grow and evolve into the girl she is today. zaadaam continued to be her home, where she mostly stayed indoors for her private piano lessons until she was sent to hogwarts when she was of age. discovering that stefan lives in amsterdam, she begins to routinely visit to spend time together. she hasn't told her parents that he was her cousin, just a friend. but they have resorted to shipping them together.
she was predictably sorted in ravenclaw. louise found no difficulty fitting in, though some criticised her for living amongst the muggles. her own house happily accepted her aloof ways and she quickly adapted to the wizard society. the dutch showed ultimate excellence and was quite the diligent student at first, curious of magic since she never properly learned any prior to attending. but as she began to master in every aspect, things just got... boring. dull. she found other ways to beneficially spend her time, enlightening herself with global issues. aware of the troubles, she tried to bring it to light. she found friends, albeit few. played chaser back in her fourth year, which from that year onwards traveled to king's cross by broom and went aboard the hogwarts express to spend more time with friends on the journey. had her first kiss later that year, her first boyfriend, came out as pan, her first girlfriend at hogwarts and is happy to call it her home.

student profile
magical competence: it is noted that as a ravenclaw, louise possesses an interest in pursuing studies as well as a keen mind. she barely excels in quizzes but is excellent in important examinations. her grades are often placed lower than the other brainy individuals, which shows none of her true potential. it must be that she suffers from mild over-stimulation at times and it shows in her work. due to her equanimity, she is a highly capable duellist, known for consecutive spells to incapacitate her opponents.
here are her classes in order of performance: charms, defense against the dark arts, transfiguration, divination, ancient runes, astronomy, potions and herbology.
muggle knowledge: during the summer, louise listens to the news and attend campaigns. she is completely aware of the struggles faced by humanity, and looks to solve them. this is beneficial to hopefully show more open signs of concern and care. living in a mostly muggle-ridden area, the culture, practices as well as not so trusted technology is integrated deeply into her lifestyle. overall, she shows an analytical understanding and supports them whole-heartedly.
additional notes: she cannot produce a patronus with ease and may have trouble with the current syllabus of non-verbal spells due to her wand wood. she also plans to take apparition lessons.
n.e.w.t. subjects: charms, defense against the dark arts, transfiguration, divination and astronomy
balance in gringotts: about 2'000 galleons
wand: pine wood with a unicorn hair 12 1/2 and hard flexibility
patronus: jackal
