Any fighting game fans out there?

I'm just curious...and bored. Are there any fighting game fans out there? If so, what do you play? What console do you play it on?

I was way into Tekken on ps2. Yoshimitsu was the best of the rest, no contest. I passing played MK and Street Fighter, but Tekken was where it was at.

Oh, and DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

So much Smash 4. Way too much Smash 4. Both systems. I am always up for a new challenger.

Also bought a TE2 fightstick a while back. Have Ultra Street Fighter IV and SFV on both PC and PS4, as well as several others such as Skullgirls and Injustice that I don't really touch too often. Probably going to jump into the Guilty Gear series when Revelator releases.

Edit: To answer more directly; yes, fighting games are rad. I really wish arcades weren't dead almost everywhere outside of Japan. Stomping people twice my age was fun.

I got skullgirls, ultra sf4, smash bros, mkx, Killer Instinct, and injustice on my old 360

^ Just waiting for them to fix up the PC version of Killer Instinct before I jump into that. It's the only thing holding me back from upgrading to Windows 10 from 7.

Right on. I'm down for that so long as you don't mind a complete newbie. May take a bit to really start getting a hang of the mechanics. Game looks nuts.

I loved tekken, I was too lazy to ever get my hands on it @AllHailDago

I don't mind at all, if you need any pointers you can always ask me. I'm not exactly a pro player, but I got a few tricks up my sleeve. I once fought a pro player and won a single round (not a match, a round) and then I got obliterated. Regardless, I consider that a victory. @Ammy

My main two fighting games are Smash Bros and Blazblue. I'm not particularly great at the latter, though.

So I got thrown into For Glory Hell for too many salty losers reporting me. I feel quite proud of myself. Guess I'm spending more time at Anther's now.

I think it's pretty much a sort of ban in which you can still play, but will face the same players repeatedly, often with bad connection.

That's the basic gist of it, yeah. It's a divide between people who are clear and those who are blackened by having people spam the report function. Issue is they give you like, five a day and allow people to send them out with no consequence or communication. They don't even tell you when you're in it so I don't know how Sakurai, Bamco, or anyone involved in this game's development ever thought it was a good "punishment" let alone a good idea.

Best part of it? Aside from the blatantly obvious lag switching Link I just found and the rampant idiocy via name tags in lobbies into the people in here are generally much better than regular For Glory 1v1.

It's not that bad. I'm not frustrated that I'm in that situation, rather that this is such a poor implementation of player punishment that actually having nothing would be more beneficial on the whole. Just...ugh. Nintendo, man. Not looking forward to the inevitable revelation that they still don't know how to internet with the NX.

In lighter news; upgraded to Windows 10. Downloaded KI, works well enough. Just need to sink the time into actually learning it now. Likely gonna buy the characters sometime this week.

I'd like to try MK-X, because I have always been a fan of it. Street Fighter just isn't brutal enough for me. I like some brutality in my games

Nice to run into a Mortal Kombat fan here. I try to play online, but I get so many messages from very...VERY salty players.
