Just wanna point out that there's lots of Seers both in the Past and Present; Winter and Gwen are just among the best, so the Villains could just go find whomever else if they decided to off Gwen.
 
They are not after seers. Nefarox just noticed that a soul took complete control of a body, and wants to find out how that works. expect vivisection.
 
Are the 'zombies' right there or are they on their way, btw? I feel like I missed something, possibly.
 
I'd also like to point out that there's no such thing as Angels in this roleplay; there are no Deities in the Past and in the Present the only 'angels' are... well, you'll see.


JoJo's engaging commander mode, is anyone working on a post at the moment?
 
I decided to give Jonathan a nickname since it's easier for me to write and it's also a subtle homage to a certain anime series.
 
I'm pretty much ready, I think the only ones who haven't gotten a chance to post yet are @AsherMastrImmortalis and @simj22 with their characters in RP (I just realized your guys' characters have very similar names xD ), but I don't know if they're going to or not before the army attacks or if they're just waiting for the army to show up.

Suggestion/question: could the 'fate' that drew the protagonists together also draw demons to them? (I will provably post after you answer, because my next post depends on your answer, because I'm thinking that Atticus could be drawn to the protagonists and plow his way towards them.)


Also, on a side note, I will only be able to RP from about 10pm to 1am GMT (which is 5pm to 8pm for you PST people, I think)

Considering that only a few select humans were drawn, perhaps the same is said of the enemy. In which case, I will have an excuse to introduce another character of mine.

I don't see why not, and that'd also allow interaction between the characters so I'd say that'd be fine.

I'm thinking of making a non-hero 'protagonist'. Someone who cannot pass on to the next life - because their soul is unique. Each time they die, their soul gets forced into a nearby body - forcing out it's owner (there are rules for this, such as not working on stronger souls). Because of this, all they want is to be able to die (for now, at least). They also have telepathy. What do you think?


(I like to propose a draft like this to the owner of the roleplay before making a profile, so I don't waste time and resources on a profile that might get rejected on concept.)

I mean, that's if they tag along with the current Hero party to fight the Demon King, of course.


Could you define the telepathy they use? Is it just the mind reading aspect, or is it linked more into stuff like mind-control, etc?

Let's just say that there's someone with a lot of power in the Present that would prefer the events of the Past to never be discovered ;)
 
Fern's descendant, you're in for a wild ride, I'm afraid. Hope you come prepared!


 
I didn't bring this up on his form before because I was still working on some details and such, and then I just decided it'd be more fun if his history was discovered through the RP, but then I thought if I shared it with the rest of you guys, we may be able to do some more with it... Like come up with possible ideas, character development, etc.


I'll keep it a bit brief, but Ferdinand grew up in a family that was their own cult, or they worshiped in one. They performed satanic deeds, called upon demons, the works. As a child, they forced Fern to do the same, and he did so with reluctance for the longest time. When he started thinking more independently, he grew increasingly uncomfortable with the rituals until he hated them entirely, and as soon as an opportunity came for him to leave, he took it. While I'm not positive on how old he was when he left, he basically ran away from them, more or less, going against their wishes to worship and praise their "demon lords", as they so often called them. He became a disgrace, and he, in turn, became ashamed of them.


The whole reason why he doesn't like talking about his past is because of his shame toward his parents, and he just wants to leave it all behind and never remember it, like pretend it never even happened. But it's also because he doesn't want to make others uncomfortable or grow suspicious of him because they may think he's still part of a cult and worships demons, or is in league with them in some way.


That's the gist of it, there's some things I'm still working on here and there as well as how Fern's affected by it as a character other then what I mentioned already, but if anyone else has any ideas or suggestions, please, feel free to throw them my way!

The telepathy and character development... Well, !SPOILER. ALERT!, first of all. And second of all, they start off suicidal and a bit crazy because they hear everyone, and feel everyone's pain, can't die, and sees no purpose in life. Their telepathy is next to useless. However, as they develop, I was thinking that they begin to find a purpose in life through helping people, and gradually gain control of their telepathy until it reaches 'idea planting'. Not quite mind control, but has a similar effect by planting an 'idea' in someone's head that they think is their own. It's basically limited to reading their mind and projecting messages to it. Because of this, and because of the nature of his ability, he would actually be stronger and wiser in the future - but also more pacifistic and such because of it.


And, as for 'tagging along'... In the past, they're a bit of a loose cannon, not really caring about either side... So they may end up trying to find purpose in the bad side to begin with. In the future, they side with the 'right' side, by their reasoning.

Also, I shall make my next post tomorrow, in which Atticus will probably start slashing through the zombie horde towards the 'fate' that is guiding him. I would do it now, but I have an exam tomorrow and I need sleep.

The SignUp thread is supposed to be for the requests of people who want to get into the roleplay and the character sheets the people wanted to insert into the roleplay, as well as any of their questions on the side.


The Character Feedback thread about Gwen is not specific to this roleplay, so I don't see how or why we should complain about a version of a character featured in a thread not even remotely related to this roleplay.


My two cents, I suggest any issues with a character in regards to the roleplay should just be said here in the OOC, or in a PM if you really don't want the conversation to be out in public.
