Anteheroes

What about an evil league of evil humans who are also hunting for the Demon King? That makes it a Heroes/Villains/Demons showdown.

That makes a lot of sense, since it won't only be the Heroes hunting for him/her/it.

Sorry for only replying now, I didn't get a notification for your post Dx

@LeviathanL

The antagonists you've submitted look great, by the way! :D

ok, then im going to tone down my obsessive compulsive character making before I create more then I'm able to play.

btw: do demons have pacts? aka services rendered in exchange for sacrifices.

Demons are quite sophisticated if you only count the more intelligent members of their race, so they're quite human-like in their ways. I don't see why they wouldn't offer a human a deal in exchange for a sacrifice, but it'd depend on the demon's type and their personality in regards to what they'd accept as a 'sacrifice'. A Demon that is after more carnal pleasures would prefer the offering of a sex slave over an actual sacrifice and vice versa. In short, yes, pacts and such are a viable thing.

Interesting, follow-up questions. Can the smart demons be summoned remotely, and can they break a pact once it is formed? Cause who is gonna trust a demon to keep his word, right?

Demons can be called upon, but not summoned. It depends on the Demon's abilities whether they can appear out of nowhere or not. (And also if they actually want to.)

Demons can break pacts, but the more human-like ones will only break pacts with those who they disdain, those who stop giving the demons what they asked for if they asked for something every so often and those who treat them badly. It's mostly just a 'You give me this and treat me well and I'll help you' kind of thing. Of course, the Demon could always just be naturally traitorous...

I believe we started in the past, not sure if we are doing it flash-back style or chronologically.

Yes, Jonathan is in the past, and the crew he refers to is his own bandit crew (mentioned in his character sheet).

I'm a bit tired, so please forgive me for not elaborating properly ^^;

Also, the way the story is moving was posted in the Overview tab~

Ok, thanks!

Just to be sure, is it fine if our past heroes, ( they might not be heroes yet, I guess ) are in this town that Johnathan is in?

Mhm, they'd have been getting the same feelings as Jonathan so they'd end up in the same place as one another eventually. ^^

I have an operating theory of body and soul that's in play here. The soul is basically a spirit residing in the plane of the universe. The body is an organic machine controlled by a spirit. The brain is the interface between body and soul. To make a body alive, the soul must be condensed from the universe into the body.

What Gwen has done is temporarily relocate most of her soul to another body. Her original body is still alive, but only barely.

Does the host body count as alive, dead or undead?

Assuming necromancers use their magical power to enact their will on the death, and so animating it. Basically, what is the strenght of the attachment of the soul to the host body?

All sapient life depends on the in-dwelling of a soul. So as long as the host body contains a living soul inside it, the body counts as alive. Gwen's power is not exactly necromancy; that involves summoning foreign spirits. Gwen is using her own soul to reanimate a body, which actually makes it form of mind-control. The attachment is pretty strong; you'd have to pretty much make the body uninhabitable to make the spirit flee, i.e. kill it.

Oh no! Don't feel like that at all! There are no standards just do your best! I just run on with sentences and never know when to stop!

Ahhhhhh don't feel bad~

@Kuroakuma

PERFECT! This was my goal! I was like 'okay what's the stupidest thing little Ein could do and say?' And at first she was gonna get the cake and fall before giving it to him but then I was like, 'No! This is better!'

I can't wait for his reaction! xD

@Kuroakuma

That was better then any sort've response I could have ever wanted, x)
