And I still say he has no reason to pass up this asshole-opportunity. His fault or not, he's still Jotaro. And that's the Jotaro I know.

Jotaro should then start yelling at everyone else for not finding the gem fast enough.

I like how that's the first thing you're concerned about.

Rin Okumura

God, this has to be one big joke. It was a mistake to ask America to come with him. Of course it was! What did he expect? Stupid! Stupid!!

Rin reluctantly followed America inside, and the smell of french fries and burgers immediately made its way up his nose.

...
Damn, it smelled amazing.

His stomach rumbled like crazy. He really needed something to bite...

Wait--What the hell?! Kyouko's soul gem is more important than this!

...But his tummy ached, and he felt weak.

Rin put his hands in his pockets and leaned against the wall next to the entrance, looking up at America with an annoyed expression on his face.

"...Go ahead. Grab something to eat. I'll wait here."

He would've loved to buy something as well, but, well... He was broke. And even if he had money, he couldn't pay with Yen in America, right?

...God
DAMN it smelled good in there! Just hurry the hell up, America!

I'm tempted to have Sans show up (Out of nowhere of course, because that's what Sans does) and make some comment about Grillby's xD

Would Asura be able to tell whose Soul is inside the Soul Gem? I mean, of course Typhus knows who it is because of that memory reading thing, but I'm just curious.

Kaneki Ken/Sasaki Haise

Tom and Kaneki were watching the scene unfold, and with some amusement. (Mostly on Tom's part). The warrior was trying desperately to avoid the heroes, and he was precisely the person they needed.

"Tom, if you'd be so kind...." Kaneki said to his partner.

Kishin Asura

Asura smiled at Kaneki's words, letting his madness once more cover the area. A message was also sent to the other villain, saying:

Hey buddy, we see you're in a bit of a mess. If you'd head towards the suburbs on your left, we'd love to have you with us.

Signed, friends

@Barbas
Wait.. Did Asura just make the whole town insane or something? Goddammit Asura, I'm trying to rob a mcdonalds here! ... Depending on the amount of people it effects, that could actually be useful....

And it's like the range is pathetically small.

Would the average person be effected/affected by madness?

----

Most everyone is at the school still, or at least around it. Exceptions being Typhus, who is in or headed towards the suburbs. America and Rin, who are in a mcdonalds. And akaneki/haise/kaneki and Tom/asura who are.... Either in the suburbs or still stalking the school from a roof.

The effects of the madness wavelength are really flexible given the SE lore. What I've researched suggests it depends on both the amount of madness, and the proximity from its source. Asura has incredible control over it, more so than Medusa, so it's possible this doesn't apply to him. But because I despise allowing my characters to be OP level 99999, I nerfed it by giving it a proximity limit. He also, depending on the strength of the person, will require effort to keep it up. If he wanted to terrorize the town, he'd have to pour a lot of energy into driving the citizens mad.

Which gives me a great idea....

But Thalia wasn't there. ... Right?
No, she wasn't there, but chances are she came across her during her time with the Hunt. Also, have you seen her shield, or at least a picture of it?

Eh, I can imagine. Fair enough.

Kaneki and Asura are watching the scene. They see Typhus trying to run away. They want Typhus, and so Kaneki tells Asura to do his thing. Asura obliges, and makes the general vicinity insane. Then he sends Typhus a brain text.

Judging from this, I think that only the area around the school bus is filled with madness. Maybe the private school.

Did I get that right?
