Ok, here is some information...
1. Real world.


2. In the middle of a school (oh gods, this isn't going to go to well...).


3. The time we are in now. When we arrive, it will probably be around 11ish.


4. Luckily, no.


5. Hmm... Most of them will think they are cosplayers... Maybe one of them will recognise me and the Jabberwock. The main boy character will take a bunch of photos and make a report for the school newspaper. The villain will start insulting everyone. We might make some friends!

ao no exorcist: not the most popular, sadly enough. rin's not gonna have much of a fanclub.


madoka magica: any fans will blow kyouko's cover


one punch man: not the most popular either, but i think saitama died anyway.


percy jackson: as long as thalia doesn't do anything suspicious, they'll just think she's another emo girl.


hetalia: again, not the most popular. but if anyone sees him in his normal outfit, we're screwed.


jabberwock's: i'm pretty sure he'll either be dead or terrifying the school too much for anyone to care.


beerus': dead giveaway, if he isn't already dead.


tokyo ghoul: dead giveaway something's up, even if he hides everything and takes off the mask. most will just think he's an albino with black nails though if they know nothing. but if there's any fans... screwed.


kingdom hearts: i've honestly never heard of this one, so i imagine it's more "retro" or something. some people in the highschool might know what it is, but they'll probably just think riku's cosplaying.


doctor who: screwed. every nerd will immediately recognize clara. but since this is america and we've only got up to series 8(i think) on netflix, they won't know she's dead.

6. Meh... This is America, in a high school.

So they have terrible burgers? Okay... Let's think about the lunch in my school. Umm... I don't eat the school food. It's disgusting. Great. Really useful experience here.


Is this a rich school, an average school, poor school, private school? These are all vital factors to the food quality here!


Also, where in the states are we? It can range from something as specific as NYC, to something as broad as umm... the south. I need to stop with all these questions....

He heard a voice call out, at first in japanese, but still somehow comprehensible. Strange, Alfred never learned that language; he didn't think much of it. [crap explanation of how japanese people can understand people from america...]

There 'ya go! All the way from page 7 in IC, past-me already attempted to reason it out.


Apparently if they have a dub, were translated into english, or it'd make sense for them to know english, then it's basically tardis translation.


there's also something in lore that relates to language in a bunch of these guys.


rin can telepathically talk to demons. percy can telepathically talk to sea creatures and horses, but thalia cant because she's a daughter of zeus. and all countries are "born" knowing a language that only countries know, but they know their countries' "national" language too.
