  The small, enclosed boat you awoke in a few hours earlier was becoming less and less comforting as your five other peers went around the circle introducing themselves, and contributing everything they currently knew about their situation. Nobody seemed to be able to remember how they had arrived in their present situation nevertheless remember who the people around them were. Black thick water pounded the sides of their boat, protesting their presence. A growl from the dark clouds above them hushed the group for a few slight moments before they continued sharing what minimal knowledge they had.

  This roleplay involves six teenagers. Though you don't know now much about where your characters come from now, this tab will be updated periodically through the development of the roleplay giving you insight as to where these characters came from, and their possible relations with one another. Once all of the characters have been accepted, I will privately message each of you with bits of information your individual character can remember. It is up to you when your character remembers this, and whether or not your character decides to share this information with the five others (please do not disclose information among yourselves or discuss information yet to be revealed in the OCC Chat).
  
  
  Current Overview: Six teenagers (ages 16-18), all different from each other, awake stranded on a boat. There is no land in sight, and their memories are limited. Each character can only remember certain specific things about themselves and their surroundings.
  
  
  

The Works

This roleplay will evolve with a "Chapter" system. This system divides significant plot points in the rolepaly into different "Chapters", much like a book. The start of a new Chapter will be illustrated by my posting "CHAPTER [#] START", and the end of that Chapter will be illustrated by my posting "CHAPTER [#] END". At the end of a Chapter, players will temporarily stop roleplaying. When this occurs, the Overview will be updated on new information being released. In addition, each player will receive another private message giving new and different information that their character will be able to remember in the upcoming Chapter.


Everyone will be notified of the happenings once a Chapter ends in all sections of this roleplay (Character Sign-Up, OCC, Overview, etc.), and each player is encouraged to check each section for new updates on information. As the roleplay continues and the characters start to remember more, players should also continue to update their character's background (family, history, likes&dislikes, etc.).




Rules for Roleplay

1. Romantic relations are encouraged between characters during this roleplay. That being said, please keep things PG-13! Though there isn't much room for things of that sexual nature on this tiny enclosed boat, please be courteous of those roleplaying around you.


2. Along the lines of romantic relations between characters, please be sure to O.K. it with the other character's creator before going ahead to move things along. Though I'm sure most of us welcome the character interaction, you never know when you might be stepping on someone's toes.


3. Interacting with other roleplayers in the OCC thread is encouraged here. All players are more than welcome to talk and become friends within the chat. I truly believe that the more comfortable we are as people, the better our roleplaying interactions will be. That being said, please be respectful of the other roleplayers. Fighting will not be tolerated.


4. Do not take control of another player's character without their permission.


5. As stated above, please do not share information not already revealed in the roleplay with others. I don't want any surprises ruined !
