"Why are you red?" Tadae asked. She tilted her head slightly, puzzled.

Kiname looked away "uh...I don't know?"

"Uh huh, sure." Tadae said, still skeptical. She shrugged and looked down the road.

Kiname chuckled "I just called you a ma'am and I got nervous of your reaction"

"I...wait, what? Why? Oh, forget it," she said. She shook her head and was silent again.

He looked down and chuckled "confused much?"

She shrugged and walked on.

he walked with her "ever see the lion king?'

"Of course," she said.

He began to sing the lion sleeps tonight

Tadae blinked and listened for a second.

Kiname continued to sing "everybody!"

Tadae stayed silent.

Kiname continued, smiling and having fun

Tadae faltered when she realized they had made it to her home and she leaned against the door.

He stopped and turned back "glad I could help you"

 

[Reiyumi]

"Yeah," she said softly, then turned and opened her door and limped inside.

Kiname walked back and sat down inside, grabbing his cello and he began practicing

Tadae limped to her room and fell onto her bed, humming.

He would continue to play, Tadae on his mind

Tadae stared at the ceiling, then shook her head and sighed.

After he finished playing he layed down on his bed and stared at the ceiling

She sighed. "I need to stop thinking about him," she mumbled before falling into a slumber.

Kiname soon fell fast asleep, not dreaming, only sleep

The next morning, Tadae woke to the sun glaring into her window causing her to fall of the bed. She groaned and stood, only to fall after a sting of pain shoots up her leg. She grabbed the bedframe and pulled herself up. She limped out of the room and towards the door, heading to her favorite coffee shop for breakfast.
