Tadae rolled her eyes and followed.

Kiname handed her the parasol, 'you need this more than I do" he opened the door for her

Tadae took the parasol, a stunned expression on her face. "H-huh?" she whispered, confused.

He waited for her to walk out "if you need to know, its so you don't get wet, I will walk you there...me in the rain...then when you reach your destination, I'll take it back on my way home" he stated

Tadae looked to him. "I understand that, but...why?" she asked.

He looked at her plainly "there's not enough room for two under that parasol, unless we squeezed in and I don't think you'd want that...or would you?" he chuckled "nah"

She shook her head. "That's not what I meant." she said softly, then looked away.

He furrowed an eye brow curiously "what did you mean?" he asked innocently

Tadae was silent for a couple of moments before saying, "You gave me your parasol to use and you didn't have to, why?"

He looked down "women go first in my line of work" he smiled warmly

"Ah.." she said softly.

"I mean you should be put first instead of me, I just want you to feel safe and at ease around me is all" Kiname looked at the rain, not sure what to say anymore

Tadae smiled, but covered her mouth and shook her head. She stayed silent and walked outside.

He slowly followed after her, closing the door behind him

Tadae looked around for a moment, thinking.

Kiname watched her, hunched over his stomach being soaked by the rain, he didn't mind so much though, as long as she was dry

"That looks...uncomfortable," Tadae said softly.

Kiname smiled brightly "its not so bad" he kept his pain hidden from her, not wanting her to worry

Tadae sighed. "If you say so," she whispered softly.

He smiled lightly "I do say so" he walked with until they reached her house, Kiname stood, completely soaked, he tried to shake his hair and get some of the water out

Tadae watched him, attempting to hide a smile. She was completely and utterly touched by the act. "Thank you," she said softly.

He smiled back to her "not a problem, I'd do this any old day" he replied

She rolled her eyes. "To you it might be normal, but to me..." she said, then shook her head, " it isn't very often that something like that happens."

He smiled "well expect it from now on" Kiname simply said, in a rather jocund matter

She nodded slightly.
