Appearance: For all his height, the boy hasn't much meat or muscle on his bones. He's got a dainty figure and pronounced features: a long, greek nose, high cheek bones and pointed chin. His eyes sit deep in their sockets, the shadows under his furry brows contrasting to eyes as blue as the afternoon sky. Naturally, his hair has a slightly tousled, wavy pattern but he keeps the sides and back trimmed short, and gels the mop on top in a faux-hawk style to prevent it from brushing into his eyes during combat. His skin is pale and devoid of any significant markings, which amplifies his ghost-like demeanor.


Likes\Dislikes: ICE CREAM, pancakes (absolutely better than waffles,) dogs, poetry, hand-held video games and repairing cars. dark chocolate, conflict, and most academics.

Personality: For all intents and purposes, Alek could be considered a friendly giant. He hovers above most kids his age and plays a special role in protecting the human realm but would be the last one to rub it in. Patient and soft-spoken, it's easy for the Estonian boy to fall to the background or even be forgotten. That suits him just fine, though; like most things, the spotlight makes Alek squirm. While he's something of an airhead in everyday situations, more alarming events (such as a demon spawning in the schoolyard) allow Alek to shine as a tactician and expert guardian. He's a hard worker and cares about what he does, maybe even to the point of consumption. One issue that Alek has struggled his entire life with is one of identity; he's highly valued for his purpose, and doesn't really know how to leave that comfort zone to delve into just being a kid like everybody else. It can feel isolating in high school.


Backstory: Alek was shipped to [XX] high school starting his freshman year, halfway across the world from Estonia. The school is one of few with a supernatural alignment, and as such, members of his family have attended the facility for generations. It happens to be close to one of six ancient gates--the Gate of Death--that allows travel to and from the spirit realm. If left unchecked, the human world may be overrun by demonic entities, and therefore "guardian" families of spiritual roots are tasked with banishing them back. They do so through several means, each unique to their family. Alek in particular projects arcane shields and blasts against foes, weakening and eventually banishing the spirit from whatever vessel they've taken and back to the spirit realm.


Extra: When nervous he stutters, and sudden sounds scare the pants off him. He speaks in broken English because he's still learning the language, and is very self-conscious of it. What he lacks in brute strength he makes up for in agility and natural instinct, and dogs really seem to appreciate his company.

Backstory: His father and mother died from illness, so he's taken care of by his older brother. It didn't bother him, and he never talks about them...


Extra: Used to run cross country, swim, and took quite a few lessons in gymnastics. He tires quickly, unless he's running or swimming. Rice balls are his favorite food.
