Pete: *stumbles upon the chaos* Not again... *pauses time so he can inspect what's happening* These dudes in black look familiar... Where have I seen them before? *hides to watch what happens* Hopefully no one won't notice me... *resumes time*

Nell: *she starts to scream as the event unfold before her* I DID NOT MOVE ALL THE WAY FROM THE EAST COAST FOR THIS SHIT! *She stands back up and dusts herself off You wanna play tag? Lets play tag. Her eyes burned with anger, she front flipped her way towards one of the men in black, gracefully jumping in the air and launching herself leg first into the curve of the mans back. He tumbled to the ground, hitting his head on a fire hydrant as he fell, she stomped on hi lower abdomen to disable him, hearing him groan with pain made a smug smile appear on her face* Now don't you worry darlin' we'll get you somewhere nice and cozy so you can heal right up. *she said, relishing her accent this time.*

Elliot: *He turned to the girl as she yelled 'what do you want with me?'* They want you, stupid. Haven't you heard of human trafficking? *The man who was clutching his knee a few moments ago tried to get up but Elliot hit him again and knocked him out. He reached into the man's pockets and found a wallet with a couple hundred bucks* Oh, sweet!

Pete: *sees the money, pauses time to go over and take a buck or two* much obliged, sir. *goes back to hiding and resumes time*

Ae Ri: ...human trafficking...chasing me for over 4-5 states...what....*confused, scared, realized she's bleeding*

Pete: Dang... 4-5 states... seems rough. Maybe this once I'll help. Know what, I'll do it. *pauses time, moves everyone a block or two away from the men one by one* Wish I had super strength, that way I could pick up all of these people at once. *once he's moved everyone, he sits on top of a dumpster* Now to just blend in... actually *takes the rest of Ellys money* sure he won't notice until it's too late. *resumes time and pretends to be asleep*

Elliot: *In a blink of an eye, the men disappeared and so did his money* No! *He let out a sad whimper and was suddenly in a foul mood. With a pipe still in his hand, he approached the girl* Mind telling us who you are or are you just gonna lay there?

Ae Ri: *stands up and staggers* ..uh...my name is Ae Ri...I have no idea who I actually am...I was named by someone who found me on the strets a couple years ago.

Jin Mi: *she helped Ae Ri steady herself on her feet and pushed the rusty pipe Elliot was waving around as she dialed the police on her phone* Hey, quiet, let her catch her damn breath- hello? Uh, yes, corner of Avenue and fifth street... *she walked away from the group to be able to speak to the operator*

Ae Ri: B-But where am I? And thank you for saving me....*bows*

Jin Mi: *she came back, hanging up the phone, and put a hand on Ae Ri's shoulder* Gwaenchahna?(You ok?) I'm Jin Mi, nice to meet you. You Korean, Ae Ri?

Pete: *I should probably head out... these guys won't need my help anymore... but what if they do?... no that's not my problem anymore, gets up and walks past the group*

Ae Ri: I...don't know...I don't know anything about myself. I just know that anything that I have no memories of whatever happened before 7 years ago, when I was found almost dead and that's where all the misfortunes happen...You shouldn't be this close to me...something bad will probably happen to you...I'll manage on my own...I'm sorry to drag you into this mess.... *starts to walk away while looking around cautiously*

Pete: *continues walking, but stops when he notices the men in black, they notice him and start chasing him* You have got to be kidding me... *turns around and starts running back, I need to stop time again. I shouldn't use it this much, but-* Look out! *runs into Ae Ri*

Elliot: Well... if you insist Hairy *He completely misheard her name and watched her go. He then turned to the girl who was supposed to go to her uni* Hope you find your uni. See you around. *He said and walked away. He then saw the same guys in black chasing another guy. What the hell are the police doing?, he thought and casually watched from a distance*

Ae Ri: *bumps into Pete and falls to the ground, sees the men in black and freezes* ....didn't they disappear??

 

[UniversalPause]

Pete: Nope. They didn't disappear. *gets up, but all of the money falls out of his pockets* Shoot *picks it up before helping Ae Ri up* You and I need to get out of here before those guys catch us. Do you have a place to go to? Somewhere to hide?

Ae Ri: ..I don't even know where I'm at.. but I need to ask them something....my life won't be endangered by this...I can feel this.. *gets up and walks toward them* Yo. What do you guys want from me? Why have you been chasing me for 7 years straight?? Why did you make people around me suffer?!

 

[UniversalPause]

Pete: Darling, they're not gonna answer you! *looks around* Should I chicken out this one time? *pauses time* Just this once... I have a bad feeling about these guys. *runs off, time resumes once he's gone*

Ae Ri: *realizes Pete disappeared* w-wh- *hears the one of the men's thoughts* Are you sure you don't know, young lady? What should I say so you'll believe me? Can't tell her the truth thought, too dangerous. *Anger begins to boil up inside of her* You right there, I don't care what's about to happen anymore. I was about to die once 7 years ago, I could have died within these 7 years of you guys chasing me, I'm done with life. I have no more fear. Tell me. The. TRUTH.

Pete: *is on the other side of town being chased by another group of men in black* I can't believe my luck! Wish I knew that trick where I could freeze a person in time... it wouldn't be as draining as stopping all of time! *runs into an abandoned building* I gotta lose them

Jin Mi: *trying to calm down Ae Ri* Woah, woah, let's calm down and wait for the police to get here, we don't want to rile anyone up... Even if they've had their kneecaps busted. Hey, you, what's your name? *she looked in Nell's direction* Well, that's not important right now, but would you lend me your belt, please?

Ae Ri: What can the police do? They can't even protect me...

Jin Mi: *she finished tying the men with busted kneecaps together with their hands behind their back after Nell let her borrow her belt, and she put her hands on her knees as she took an exasperated sigh. I'm going to be so fucking late to practice but whatever.* Well, let them get here and from there we'll see what we can do- *her cell phone started ringing and she pulled it from where it was clipped to her belt loop. It was her groupie, Dawn.* Hey Dawn? Yeah, listen, I got a slight emergency going on right now, uh... Yinz(this is the northern version of y'all) go ahead and start practice without me, I'm with some acquaintances waiting for the police.


Dawn: *on the other line* The police?! We're on our way, is everything okay?! *to the other two girls* Guys, get ready, Jin Mi is in trouble, I don't know what's going on, but the cops are coming over there-


Jin Mi: Nononono, don't go anywhere, everything's okay, I'm okay, I'm just waiting with a few friends, something strange happened, kidnapping almost happened but everything's okay. I'll just be there in a while, but go ahead and start without me. *three patrol cars strolled up to the scene, lights on and a couple siren cries* I gotta go, police are here, see you guys, love yinz. *she hung up and stood up to greet the officers, who she knew from her father being police chief.* Fouke, Halsey, Zelms, good to see you guys. *she shook hands with all three officers.* These uh, men came out of no where and attacked my friends and I.


Deputy Fouke: Are those scrapes from the altercation? *he pulled his shoulder radio to his mouth and spoke* We got a 11-51(Ambulance Needed), chief's daughter and friends are injured, attempted kidnapping is assumed, suspects have been detained.


Jin Mi: Oh, uh, yeah, we tussled a bit because they literally just tried to kidnap her- *she pointed towards Ae Ri* I think she needs an ambulance, she's slightly off- I mean, wouldn't you? So, here they are- oh, they definitely need an ambulance, too, one of them has a busted kneecap. Ae Ri, you good? *she put a hand on Ae Ri's shoulder.*


Deputy Zelms: *handcuffing the suspects with Fouke and Halsey* Alright, you kids and just chill here on the sidewalk until the ambulance gets here, just don't get too close to these guys. *they say the suspects down on the curb as well.*


Deputy Halsey: Zelms, get me some gauze from the emergency kit from the patrol car, Jin Mi's bleeding all over the place... *he placed pressure on her scraped knee with his gloved hand and replaced his hand with gauze, and continued to place pressure on her knee*


Jin Mi: Ow-...! *she sighed, breathing slowly, the adrenaline leaving her blood and starting to feel the pain of the scrapes* Yeah, I didn't even realize I got that messed up...

Ae Ri: y-yeah...*backs away slightly* I'm fine. Nothing is wrong with me.
