Realistic or Modern Animalia

Walking past her adopted daughter room Luna heard her sigh, slowly opening the door Luna entered the room.

"Everything alright Aura?"

Aura looked over at Luna, her aunt, and sat up with a friendly smile. "Yea. How are you?" She asked.

Sitting down on the edge of Aura's bed Luna smiled, "I am alright! I was just thinking about the war. What should we do? I don't want to lead a war..."

Sighing Luna pushed her sea blue hair away from her face and closed her eyes from exhaustion.

Aura eyed her face, feeling sorry for her aunt. "I don't know... Are you sure you can't try stopping the war and just talking to the Avians?" She asked.

Luna looked at her daughter and smiled while patting her head, "Yeah we could do that. How about we talk to your brother before we do anything though"

"Yea." She nodded, actually quite hungry. The week or two she had been grieving, she hadn't eaten much food, and was only recently beginning to actually eat.

Relief came into Luna's body, she had noticed that Aura hadn't been eating very well and she wanted to help her new daughter. Skipping along the hall Luna led Aura to the kitchen and quickly made her something to eat.

Percival had been out training the new guards, yes it was early. However, war never waited on their sleep schedules, they had to start before the sun was out and before their heads were functioning. He believed it sharpened the senses of the young men who were willing to fight for their kingdom. He was off duty now, handing the daily training job over to his second in command. His stomach was growling and he sighed making his way to the kitchens, stopping as he saw the Queen Luna and the Princess Aura, he bowed out of respect, "Milady's," he greeted, taking the hood to his cloak off with a smile, waiting for any further permission to come in further to the kitchen.

Cael was never sleeping anymore, if anything he should be an owl, not a bird. He sat outside in the courtyard with a book in his hands, mindlessly flipping over each page as he read. He very much enjoyed reading and took the time to do it whenever he could, whenever his duties didn't have him off somewhere else. Cael enjoyed the feeling of the morning sun kiss his face and darken his skin slightly, there was no better way he could ask for a morning to start then like this, with a good book under a perfect scenery.

Aura looked up to see Percival and smiled. "Hello," She said in a friendly tone.

Percival's eyes went from the Queen's to Aura's, "I trust you've all slept well," he said with a small nod of the head, resting his left arm over the sword sheathed on his hip.

She nodded and gave a small, pleasant smile. "Yes, I did. How are the guards doing?" She asked him curiously.

"Well," Percival started to chuckle lightly, "I don't believe that any of them has ever held a sword or bow in their life. However, that is no longer my problem; I'm off training the youngsters for the day," he said a small fond grin on his lips. "They're all courageous men, willing to lay down their life for this kingdom; I know they will be very great warriors in due time."

She smiled, "I'm glad to hear that, and I wish you good luck." It was good to hear that there were more warriors. If they ever did go to war, Aura was sure they would win.

Nodding Eleanor began to cut up several of the fruits and grabbed two bowls from both Aspen and herself, "These can be our bowls."
Placing her cut fruits in the bowls Eleanor smiled happily and went to grab the ice cream.
"Ice cream!!" Aspen grinned happily. Who doesn't like ice cream? It's the best thing you can have! Well, apart from sweets! The fruit salad was done and Aspen clean up he mess, while waiting for the Queen to put the ice cream in.

(Finally home)

Placing the ice cream into both of their cups Eleanor smiled and took a bite out of one.

"Yummm!!!"

(haha just got home myself!)

Aspen grinned and ate hers, "this is amazing!" The fruit on her bowl was gone before she knew it. "I'm doneeeeeee!" She smiled happily and show Queen Eleanor her bowl. "Now I have all my energy! I can fly to the boarder and back!" She told Queen Eleanor and she put her plate back on the table.

Finishing off her own bowl Eleanor grabbed Aspen's bowl and herself and began to wash them, "Don't fly though, you just ate."

Chuckling at the young girls enthusiasm Eleanor wiped her hands and removed the apron. Letting the chef and the servants back into the kitchen Eleanor guided Aspen into the royal garden.

"Okay," Aspen was a little sad that she wasn't able to fly yet, but she knew the result of flying after eating. She'd done that before and it's the worst feeling ever. Aspen removed her apron and follow Queen Eleanor toward the garden. "Um Queen Eleanor, I don't think I've met the Prince yet..." Aspen stated, randomly, "is he too busy to enjoy the fun?"

Looking at the flowers Eleanor smelt them and smiled at Aspen, "He must be somewhere here. Don't worry child."

Picking a red rose Eleanor handed it to Aspen.

She nodded and accept the red Rose. Aspen like roses, especially the red ones. They just stand out from others. Red can mean the exact opposite things. Red can make people think of blood, where there's blood, there's always a fight. And sometimes red can represent love, love is gentle, kind and caring. Aspen didn't really know why things that are beautiful can also be ugly. "Thank you," she said to the queen and pick out a pink rose then give it to her.

Smiling at the soft pink rose Eleanor placed it into her hair, "You know child? I would love to go visit the fountain here, would you like to come with me?"

Taking Aspen's hand Eleanor laughed out loud and began to run towards the fountain.

"Yes—" before Aspen could say anymore Queen Eleanor took her hand and they both start running. The Queen was laughing out loud as they were running. Aspen could feel her wings behind her and she smiled, "are you sure we won't get lost?" She asked her, Aspen only went to the fountain once, but that was a long time ago, and now she don't exactly remember the way.
