Anima 1872 (Private)

Kan finds his way to the latrine and relieves himself. Once done, he makes sure his attire is in its proper place again before leaving. As he leaves the building and goes in search of his companions Kan takes in the surroundings to get more accustomed to the area as he imagined he would be seeing a lot more of it soon and wanted to be able to get bearings.

//Kan wants to see what if any landmarks there are around for reference points in relation to their position etc.//

so the village is a simple ring shaped road that connects to the same route in an out (it would look like more like a bulb than a ring), fairly common in villages that are set into forested/mountainous areas, the majority of the buildings in the ring are just homes, the Inn is near the edge of the entrance to the ring it has a large barn attached to it (to the right), that appears to serve as rented storage for many of the village locals as well as serving as a place to keep some of the local livestock. Across the path you have a tanners and a tailor, and further along from that you have a baker and a butcher, the center of the ring features a fair sized courtyard (made of mud) and a large than average house, no doubt belonging to the elder. you hear some metalworking going on, you believe its likely to be a village farrier or blacksmith, the village is simple and not all that noteworthy and so there is a chance there is more in the village than you could garner from just a quick look around.

As you begin to walk out of the village you notice a small path you had not noticed in the evening when you had arrived, its fairly well trodden but still goes into the depths of the forest and so is still battling with the growing wildlife. the Barkeep's Daughter begins to lead you down the forest path.

"it's this way sir, not too far and we'll be at his house, further on from this is the old mine, not safe that way mind so i advise you keep clear from it."
