Yellow eyes paid attention to the front of the classroom. His posture in his seat upright and proper. He stayed silent as the tutors started homeroom and the first few eager students stood up to introduce themselves. He was unfazed by the illusion from the blind girl, and the appearance of the wax girl. If anything, he made a mental note to not get too close to either. When no one had yet to come forward once more, Souei got up quietly, moving the chair back instead of pushing it against the floor. The fair teen straightened his blazer as he got up on the small podium, and turned towards the rest of the class. "Nakimura Souei. My quirk is ice creation. And I wish to become a hero to honor my family."

Souei did not recognise any of the faces in the room. There was thousands on the day of registration after all. And he went through another test for the recommended students. He hoped that they wouldn't make that into a big deal. The teen bowed slightly in greeting before making his way back to his desk. Not bothering if some weren't impressed without a quirk demonstration.

Watching the other three go up and talk about themselves and Ai knew she would have to do the same. She was of course here with a false identity and fake quirk so no one would find out about her family and her villainous roots. This did mean she couldn't say her real goal of defeating her family and instead would have to put up another, though defeating villains seemed common. Ai knew she was not exactly the most heroic but even she knew the propaganda and couldn't help but hope others had more heroic reasons beyond beating up the bad guys. Ai wasn't going to claim she did as to many lies made things to complex so it was best to just make sure the lies covered for one another.

Ai walked up tot he front looking over the others in her class thinking how best to fake her supposed quirk. the teachers' desk would just have to do it was heavy and likely just under her limit but to much to move with just one hand. Ai would need to explain the weight limit just to make sure no one thought she was to strong or wanted her to show more strength than she had. She would just have to be careful about how she managed the strength part with others there was no telling what they might expect.

" i am Ai Emiya and i am here to defeat villain like many my quirk in enhanced strength and speed" She said speaking in a rather friendly tone not playing the hostile loner instead being friendly as she walked to the teachers desk. Ai made sure her shadow was over it and could reach into it's without any issue before bending down and using her shadow to pick it up and make it look like her was doing so with one arm. " I have a weight limit of about 500 lbs so don't ask me to go flipping cars" She joked as she put the desk back down secretly releasing it from her shadow once it was on the ground.

Tsuru Goshiken

Mentioning: All students

Location: AA's class

Like many others, Tsuru was both impressed and amused to hear all those names and quirks; he even recognized some faces from the test, including their short-temoered but smart operation leader and the mysterious girl who quite possibly saved him from eliminating himself from the test. He was very grateful to those two, but more importantly, he was bothered by most presentations. Where was the energy in their speeches? Where was the spunk, the passion? For those who had just joined one of the best, if not the best school in Japan, it just didn’t seem enough.

No worries. He could fix that.

Stepping up to present, Tsuru’s face was dead serious. He looked deep into the eyes of every student there before he began to talk, his voice loud and clear, yet not without wonder:
“She’s a living legend. Brave, kind, tireless, gorgeous and with all the strength of a raging storm. So many villains have been arrested by her hand that I can’t even count them. I’m talking about the number 3 hero in Japan, Hurricane Tsubaki. And she’s my mom!” He added, pointing to himself with a wide grin. “Heroes are the best people in the world, because they put other ahead of themselves, even if it means risking their lives. I’m Tsuru Goshiken, and I won’t rest until I’m worthy of being called a hero myself! By the way, my quirk lets me make shapes out of air.” While he said that, he made a crude figure of his own mother made out of white solid air before making it crumble for his next movement, a short and quick bow. “It’s a pleasure meeting you and I'm looking forward to studying with you!”

Hideki Mitzuki
Hideki would sit silently in his seat in the back of the room as he watched other students get up and introduce themselves. Hideki would look around the room and would see some faces he remembered from the exam and signup day, and some faces that he didn't recognize, these would be the kids that he would be in class with. They would also be the kids that he would be competing against and defeating as he would prove that he was the best. Hideki learned from a young age, that you had to be the best or you didn't make it in this line of work. After a few students went up Hideki figured he might as well get up and get this over with. The boy got up and got out of his chair and made his way up towards the front of the class. He cooly made it up to the front and turned around to face the rest of his classmates.

He hated to give his last name, because well he hated for anyone to find out who his parents were, thinking about them made the confident, sometimes arrogant and aggressive kid turn back into the young, weak little kid again. Hideki bit his bottom lip as he got ready to speak. "My name is Hideki Mitsuki, my quirk is steam manipulation, I can heat up the water in my body and create steam and can boil water, its pretty versatile." Hideki opened up his right hand, his palm up towards the ceiling he activated his quirk, steam coming out of his hand and rushing towards the ceiling. "The reason i'm here is because I'm going to be the best, you can't make it in this line of work unless you're the best." Hideki would slightly bite his lip again as some thoughts of his parents came rushing to his mind as he talked in front of the class. Hideki then made his way back to his seat.

Sonata & Yoka

Dead Center of the room, a rather well-dressed young lady had sat with her eyes closed for the majority of the introductions. Oddly enough, her fancy attire seemed to be billowing despite the lack of excessive wind in the classroom, but her hair seemed unaffected by whatever her quirk was doing. She was so still, so disconnected that for the majority of the introductions it could be safe to assume she was sleeping through most of them. Her neighbor certainly seemed to think so.

For between the introductions, a tentacle would reach over to the fanciful young lady and poke her roughly in the side, followed by a angrily whispered, "Watch." every single time. This tentacle was only one of many which sprouted from the head of the octopus headed girl who'd been staring holes into everyone around her. Clutched within her hands was a PDA of sorts which she tapped at furiously with one hand and two tentacles all working in sync. She'd been cataloging every bit of data her full spectrum of senses could deliver since the moment she stepped inside this room. Every smell, sound, and sight had been committed to a document, organized into a folder, arranged with precision as time went on. Every introduction, including movements and mannerisms which went with them, were recorded and filed away for later study.

This particular found her neighbor's lack of reaction both infuriating and annoying for different reasons, and was not the type to merely allow such blatant disregard for their future... especially due to the history between this particular duo.

So when Hideki finished, she was already prepared with her tentacle.

"Watch." she repeated as her tentacle dug for her neighbor, only to find the seat beside her empty.

This sudden break from their routine caused her gaze to finally snap from her PDA and look up, only to find her neighbor very elegantly making her way towards the podium. With her clothes still billowing from some as of yet unseen force, she took her place behind the podium before finally opening her eyes and watching the class for a moment as a tiny small graced her lips.

"Sonata T. Lafayette of the Lafayette family." she said with a tiny bow, her fluid words barely concealing the hint of an accent "As heroes hold great sway in the hearts of the people, it is only natural for someone such as I to seek that notoriety for my family."

As she spoke, the very end of her scarf rose beside her, still billowing gracefully, "Clothing has served my family for many years. It has provided, enlightened, and enriched us. My Quirk calls upon that connection, so that I may repay such fine fabrics for their assistance by showing their true capabilities to the world at large."

Carefully raising a hand under the tip of her scarf, she scratched it as if scratching the chin of a kitten. Back in her seat, Sonata's neighbor gave a not so unnoticeable groan.

"But to show such grace, I must prove myself through this fine Academy." Sonata placed her hands together over her chest "I am rife with anticipation to undergo such a journey with all of you."

She gave another bow before making her way back to her seat. She wasn't even fully away from the podium before her neighbor scooted her chair back and lowered her PDA. As they passed, she gave Sonata a disgusted shake of the head before making her way to the podium and gripping the edges of it as one of her tentacles lifted her PDA in front of her.

She narrowed her eyes at the contents of it before pulling the PDA out of view, "Now depending on how invested any of you are in the workings of Support Companies, you may or may not know that Cephalo Solutions has recently acquired one such Manufacturer of Hero related subsidiaries." she stated evenly, her words quick and without pause "As such, it is only logical to evaluate our new customer base to understand what notions of business should be altered or accepted."

Once more raising her PDA in front of her gaze, she gave it a quick once over before continuing "I am Yoka, and from this point on you may consider me a liaison between you and a respectable source of assistance. Cephalo Solutions has boasted a 94% success rating for every expansion we've orchestrated and Hero Support shall be no different. More information on how you can better your hero's journey can be found on our website, Cephasol.com, or via our 24/7 operators standing by at 446-731 to answer whatever questions you may have."

With that Yoka lowered the PDA and resumed tapping away at it as she moved to return to her seat, she paused for a moment and returned to the Podium "Oh and good to work with you all or whatever."

Task completed, she made her way back to her seat, where Sonata gave a her a small applause. Yoka merely gave a low grumble as she returned to her seat and continued cataloging.

Either someone was smiling down on her or this was a cruel joke being drawn out way too long but Frieda had somehow managed to pass the test when she came to her senses as well as manage not to drown on a ship that for some reason had stopped sinking. She had been fully expecting to be needing to apply for some other general school and even had all the forms ready afterwards so the letter coming through saying she had been accepted had her stunned in the hallway for several minutes clutching the paper and came to in the same position...only horizontal and in her bed still clutching the document. Now all that was left was to try and keep practicing like before to maybe get a little better...or at least not leak so much, the efforts however led to many a night being found collapsed outside from exhaustion.

So in any case here she was on the first day of her new school, having actually managed to pass and part of her waiting to be woken from whatever dream she had been having while ideally sketching away within her notebook, and shaking all the while with her diminutive form sunk into one of the back seats. Her mind was running through all the possible ways this could go wrong and It wasn't until the teacher spoke that she was finally brought back to reality, picking her head up to watch the stream of individuals introducing themselves.

When her turn finally came she swallowed deeply before shuffling off the seat and scampering to the front with a rainbow trail in her wake, running a hand through her hair and trying to get her breathing under control as she finally faced the host of faces in the class directly. Scanning around with the same nervous expression and still shaking they finally speak up to start her own introduction "Erm...I...Im F..Frieda..Fitzjerald..." ok so far so good, something about herself "I..I..." a steady sound from her was growing louder like a strange thumping starting to echo around the room as she starts to sweat. What could she say? Something interesting, what was interesting about her...oh god there going to laugh if i say that, what about? no thats no good, another few quick breaths and she tries to continue with the first thing that comes to mind "like to paint, draw and write...erm....I can make colored ink?" raising her gloved hands to show completely forgetting they had been covered in gloves to prevent smudges so really wasn't showing anything like she had intended "I want to...to be a hero...becuase..." her next words being dropped out and letting out a long sigh, why was she doing this again? she couldn't really say the original reason, could she? ok just say anything its probably fine "Because i want to see a change..." letting her words hang for a moment before scanning the room once more, and dashing back to her desk before she died of embarrassment, the same noise slowly dying down as she tries to get her breathing under control.

Aijou Kurokami
latest
This is the day she had been waiting for. This is the time to make her first impressions best. One by one, the students goes up the stage and introduces themselves to the other students, some even showing off their Quirks. Aijou was really amazed by their display, but not so much for Merkava. He yawned, seeing their Quirks as not flashy. "Alright Merkava, let's make our impressions best. I hope we don't get to bore some of them." Aijou says to the parasite with excitement in her tone. Merkava is not looking forward to this, but he'll try for her sake. Aijou takes a deep breath before she gleefully goes up the stage. "Hello, everyone." She begins "My name is Aijou Kurokami, and this demonic-looking parasite on my head is Merkava. Say "hi" to them."

Merkava sighs, already disappointed with the situation he is in. "Um...hi." He says. "Good!" Aijou says with a bright smile on her face. "So, um...this may sound complicated but, I, as myself, am Quirkless. Yes, that's sounds both shocking and confusing at the same time. But I'm actually really thankful for being here if it weren't for Merkava. He can morph himself into anything that best suits the situation. Be it a pair of wings..." Merkava forms a pair of huge wings "Or chainsaws." Merkava forms a pair of chainsaws with his teeth being the blades, complete with rapid rotation AND noises. After morphing back to normal, Aijou continues her speech.

"I usually rely on him to do the heavy lifting, but me and him are like the best crime-fighting duo that the public has yet to know of. Without him, I wouldn't be here and be somewhere else then. As to why am I here, its obvious that I want to be a hero...its just that, and this one is a big shocker for all of you, I am the daughter of the former number one, the man who revolutionized the way we see heroism today, the one TRUE hero that insipred a generation. Seigi Kurokami, also known as "Captain Japan", the "Symbol of Justice". And I, want to become like him. I want to become the new number one. And so, I hope we can go along with each other and wish the best of our efforts. Thank you." With that done, Aijou goes back to her seat, hoping that her speech was worth it.

Ok so apparently despite the wrecked form of the test monster it was still against the rules to take any test material with her upon leaving the exam, the fact causing some frustration as she had really wanted to play around with the alloy used in its construction in larger quantities but instead had to make do with the little leftover from the repairs made. All in all, though her suit had performed as expected, though it did stand to reason the oxygen capacity could be extended, perhaps combining in a rebreather to recycle the carbon dioxide? they should be able to work that with minimal increase to the weight, that would also allow for compartments to alter buoyancy similar to the tanks on the creature...no best to make sure in a modular design for adjustments and removal of redundant....wait wasn't their people around here?. The girl appeared to have spent far longer than she thought on calculations and theorizing blueprints that the sun had started to go down as well as the students and most of the faculty leaving.

Well suffice to say despite the unorthodox methods and lack of direct camera footage, the true extent of her actions during the test had been discovered partially in the cleanup and resulted in her passing and following acceptance into the school. Her remote home never did get mail much, perhaps it was due to 1013 steps as well as lack of a structured path? It would make it difficult to ascertain the house number within the woods, though the collapsed postman holding up a letter on the floor did mean it was still possible, taking the letter from his hands to read slowly before returning and placing a glass of water against the heavily panting man. He did seem unhappy with the stairs, maybe there had been a damaged one? she should recount and inspect them again to ensure they are still all in order.

Fast forward to the first day of school and the towering girl is staring listlessly to the front of the room, her eyes set forward while her hands appeared to be fiddling with several screws, plates, and wires as if moving on their own next to a worn journal full of various notes. She had take count of each new arrival in the classroom with the same gaze and allowing each to introduce themselves before the time finally came for herself to do so.

Walking calmly to the front she stands there for several moments before speaking in a slow soft and almost monotone while a finger fiddle with one of their bangs, twirling it throughout "My name is Galatea Cyprus, I'm 16 years old. My home is in the northwest section of Osaka, a rural area west of the Kawachikuniichinomiya Hiraoka shrine. I work as an apprentice engineer under Pygmalion Cyprus as well as several other subjects and have been allowed to conduct several projects of my own alongside Hero practice. I am to get home every day by 8PM at the latest and ensure i get eight hours sleep no matter what. After having warm milk and doing 30 minutes of exercises before going to bed to ensure I have no issue sleeping until morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up....." the girl continuing on for some time before finally arriving near the end "...Katsuobushi. My quirk lets me achieve a full understanding of targeted objects and manipulation of such to achieve desired effects, my reason for wishing to be a hero is to forge something that will last beyond only form and function"

If the girl had taken a breath through the entire introduction it was difficult to tell, once more looking over the room afterward and going to take her seat once more.

Yuu had already sat down and had started writing down the names, Quirks and a single sentence on their personality, of her classmates. As she listened and wrote, she finished writing after Aijou, as she assumed there was no-one else who would want to get up, "Hmm what interesting Quirks for everyone, I would like to befriend some of these people, Frieda would be the most likely person for me, however she'll not want to be near me, fire and paint don't mix together, maybe after I reveal my real Quirk, I don't have enough info on Ai to make a proper connection." Yuu said to herself as she ran down her list of potential allies "Aijou will probably be difficult to befriend with Merkava, ,Yuko, sounds a bit cold but could be useful with her massive connections to support and Sonata might be useful as well. Hmmm" Yuu said before slamming the back of her pencil onto her book, put them away and sidled her way through the crowd quietly. "Hello, Ms. Lafayette and Ms. Yoka, I must say both of you and your Quirks seem very interesting." Yuu said as she sat down next to Sonata her fire coming coiling around her left arm and looking very similar to a snake, as she made it flick a fiery tongue "Ms. Yoko, do not fear my fire, since I have no intention of turning you into calamari, my flames shall not leave my hand" She said as she extended her right hand waiting for a handshake from Sonata "I must say Ms.Lafayette I'm very intrigued by your Quirk most of all since, I can sort of tell what Ms. Yoko's Quirk can do, given her entire cephalopodian look, clothes to use against other people, is it just your own clothes, or is it anyone's clothes? Either way it would have quite the usefulness as a Hero. As I said mine is a fire quirk" She continued as her fire snake, started to transform into a line of fire spiders crawling around her arm. "Don't mind them, just constantly practicing my Quirk, as you can guess from my waxy figure, if I use too much fire for too long I literally start to melt. So I'm just getting my body use to my own fire. On the bright side of the wax body, is that if I do lose a limb, I can either just wait to regrow my wax or mold a new limb out of wax and reattach it to the rest of me" Yuu said calmly "But enough of me talking, how about yourself, tell me what is Ms.Lafayette like?" Yuu said as she changed the fire once again this time into a a dove and a recreation of Pocky.

Kadena Guinto

Kadena takes note of those who made their introduction and showcase of their Quirks. Flashy for the most, some decent, and others questionable. "Alright, I guess its my turn. Better not waste this moment." She says to herself after the last student went down. She goes up the stage, hoping that her Japanese won't suck. She takes a deep breath and starts her introduction. "Hello, my name is Kassandra Dela Navao Guinto, but most people call me Kadena. I am from Manila, Philippines. My Quirk allows me to turn any part of my body into gold." She then demonstrates this by turning her entire arm into pure solid gold. It shines and it glistens. It looks like something that could be worth billions of Yen. After she reverts it back to normal, she continues her speech. "As for my reason for being in here, well..." She glances to her side, remembering how her parents demanded her to partake on the hero field despite her protest. She looks back at the crowd and say "I am here...to know what it means to become a hero. Yeah, that's right, to know what hero duty is like and...um...experience what saving lives meant. Yeah, that's all, thank you." She almost broke her cool, but was able to at least pull it off. Kadena gets off the stage and goes back to her seat.

Yoka stared down every student which followed her, fingers and tentacles tapping away at her PDA as the routine continued. Sonata merely continued sitting properly in her seat, an air of utter composure wafting off of her and those billowing clothes. But Yoka would not let the madwoman distract her.

The next one who took the stand seemed like an absolute train wreck, radiating nerves and sputtering out her introduction. Yoka could barely get through the first sentence without tapping a finger to her desk in annoyance. Be nervous all you want, but nobody should ever take this long to form a sentence. An audience only had so much patience, and Yoka was only so willing to waste time waiting. By the time she actually got to the part about explaining her quirk, Yoka did her best to jot down what useful information she could from the jumbled mess Frieda was spewing. She couldn't even bring herself to finish recording her reason for being a hero, as she'd already been convinced that this particular girl lacked the ability to properly articulate anything.

So excruciating was it that Yoka folded her arms once she was done and merely looked for the next speaker, pausing only once the sound of small clapping reached her ears. Yes, it would seem the lunatic next to her was once more giving a small applause, which made even less sense than the last time she did so. How could anyone applaud such an objective mess like that?

Yoka wouldn't have long to ponder that, as the next student went up and began describing that she was basically useless and only had any form of power due to the parasite festering on her head. The parasite itself seemed impressive enough, but Yoka was only glad that Aijou was actually capable of speech unlike some people. That enjoyment faded quickly once she revealed that she was apparently the daughter of none other than Captain Japan, silently crushing Yoka's expectations of how the blood of a number one hero would turn out. Seeing how Quirks and family trees tied together was always good for business, especially for famous heroes. Yoka actually released a sigh at that, an absolute opportunity had been harshly missed.

But even that disappointment couldn't distract her from the dainty clapping Sonata gave at the end of that Introduction as well.

It was the next intro that Yoka actually thought she could appreciate. Galatea may have taken an ungodly amount of time to talk, but Yoka found everything she said relevant... at first. But then she trailed off... and off.... and off... and soon Yoka found that she'd actually lowered her PDA and leaned forward with a hand under her chin as she waited for something actually useful to come out of her mouth. Eventually that waiting turned into an internal debate over which speech was more annoying, someone who could barely utter a handful of semi-useful words or someone who could cram in a veritable mountain's worth of uselessness. Unfortunately, Yoka had to admit to herself that Frieda's monstrosity of a speech at least ended quicker than whatever fresh hell this was. She was so disconnected from the speech that she almost missed it once Galatea got around to her quirk, which Yoka could easily label as the only true bit of useful information she'd gotten.

But even then, Sonata maintained the same prim sitting position throughout it all, once more clapping for the introduction, having displayed nothing but her relaxed little smile through it all. Once Galatea was finished, she glanced to her neighbor only to find the little Octopus girl clenching her head between her hands, "Are you alright, dear?"

"Hush, focus."

"Very well." Sonata nodded as she reacquired her position.

It was around this time, as Galatea returned to her seat, that the two noticed someone approaching them. Yoka refused to let any interruption distract her from her work, and so only gave a passing glance at first as Yuu approached with a greeting. Sonata wasted no time in offering one in return, "Good day to you, darling."

Although she gave a way glance towards the flame radiating off of her, Yoka rolled her eyes at Yuu's insinuation of danger. If there was any place she would be safe from a sudden attack, it would be in a classroom full of prospective heroes, not to mention the teachers. But a statement such as that did implore Yoka to consider when and where she'd allow close proximity with this particular classmate. Seeing that her focus seemed directed towards Sonata, Yoka returned her gaze towards the podium as the next student went up to present.

Sonata placed her hand in Yuu's before giving it a small shake, "Charmed. I must admit that all clothing answers to my call, I merely have to prod it for a moment or two." Pulling her hand back she placed both of them in her lap before giving Yuu a once over, "You'll find most attire quite sociable, eager to act in someone's interest. Clothiers of the past and present merely know how to direct that eagerness, my Quirk is the natural progression of such a relationship."

Yoka rolled her eyes, catching glimpses of her neighbor's words from the side. Even then she tapped at her PDA as Kadena spoke. A quirk that turns the body to gold... Yoka could already tell that if villains ever got a hold of her, the results would be rather... gruesome.

"Don't be so callous with the body, darling." Sonata noted as her gaze rose to meet Yuu's "Even a replaceable one longs for for the gentle caress of the cloth. As it's humble servant, I provide that caress with vigor. As my father does, and his father before him, the Lafayettes are a proud name that I honor every day I draw breath.

Smiling at her, Sonata pressed her hands together as her scarf slithered up her side to remove her hat and lower it to her awaiting grasp "Until I become a proper hero, I am nothing more and nothing less: A lover of threads. Though I suppose the occasional bit of tea is worthy of mention, a nice brew does a mind wonders.

Kuriko Koizumi

The brunette and blonde haired girl noted the ice creation guy. She recognized him from the recommendation test. She stood up from her spot towards the center of the room. She had been a recommendation student, and was excited about having actually made it in. She brushed off the skirt of her uniform as she turned around in front of the students to introduce herself. "Hello! My name is Kuriko Koizumi!' She greets with a smile and a small wave. "My quirk is Nature!" She begins before She activities her quirk, the ground freezing under on of her feet, "Each of my limb can activate a different element, but I can only use one at a time, and it's generally not as strong as someone who has only one element." She states as then she pulls her sleeve up on her right arm, and a form of magma starts to sink through the skin. Before it can drip she turns her quirk off, "I am attending this school because I want to become a really awesome hero like my dad!" she grins before deciding she was done introducing herself and trotted back to her seat.

Kuroki Noto

Kuroki sat forward in her seat, elbows on her knees, hands folded under her chin. She watched everyone. Made a mental note of everyone. Whoever dared stand up and say so easily what their quirks were... what about class sparring matches? Why would anyone give away their secrets so easily? Kuroki shrugged. The worst other people could do knowing her quirk in combat would be to stay far away from her. So, she stood up and, hands in pockets, walked casually up to the podium, fingering the microphone for a moment before starting.

"I don't need to impress you, do I? I already impressed the staff as did the rest of you." She shrugged. "But for the purpose of introductions, I'm Kuroki Noto. I can produce various kinds of plant toxins in my blood and transmit them through these babies." She removed one arm from her pocket and clenched her fist, green thorns poking themselves through the skin. They were dripping translucent yellow liquid. Retracting the thorns and re-pocketing her hand, she smirked. "I can also transmit them through my bodily fluids." She spat onto the podium, and the saliva began to eat away at the wood. Then Kuroki rubbed at it with her hoodie sleeve, which an observant eye would note had many small holes in it. It seemed this was not the first time Kuroki had cleaned up her acid spit this way. She looked at the room around her, strangely not making eye contact as one with such confidence would be thought to do. But she looked passionate. "I am excited to work with those who are worthy enough to be here."

Then, with a nod, Kuroki stepped off the platform and took her seat.

Sakura Hanake

Sakura looked around nervously at all the accepted students. She herself still couldn't believe she had gotten in. She had tried to explain what happened in the exam to her uncle, a former pro hero, who laughed and slapped his knee. 'Forget your performance, child! They saw the potential in you!' Then he grabbed her shoulders and squeezed them tightly, his eyes shining as they looked into the mouse girl's big ones. 'Your mother never believed in her abilities either. And yet she still became a hero! And she only had the ultrasonic waves, my mouse. You have a variety of skills to show the world!'

Sakura had felt quite optimistic about her future career then. Now, after listening to most of the other students... she only felt confused. Where was the morale in this room? The empowerment? The idea of working together to better the world? What about good will? Sakura could only see the others being overconfident and competitive about their abilities. But, as there were less and less students jumping at the bit to introduce themselves, Sakura knew it was her turn.

She made her way to the podium, trying not to look at anyone. Her tail, while not wrapped around her legs in terror, was hanging around then tentatively, ready to dash to safety between her legs if need be. Ghost, her pet mouse and 'educational gift' from her uncle, dashed up the front of her dress from her skirt pocket, and onto her shoulder, resting his little, warm body against her neck in an attempt to encourage her.

Sakura looked at all the students in front of her, and couldn't find her tongue. The microphone was too tall, and Sakura bent it to her size. It shrieked in protest and Sakura's hands flew up to her large, mouselike ears, an agonized expression appearing on her face. She turned red, and then stared at the podium and the corroded spot Kuroki's acid spit had left on it. Despite the girl's attempt to clean it up, it was still sizzling.

"M-my name's S-Sakura Hanake..." her voice was high pitched and quiet. "My mom was a hero, and my uncle is a retired pro hero..." She lost her train of thought, panic appearing in her eyes. After a few rapid breaths, she found herself. "I figured the best thing for me to do with my life would be to be a hero... a light to society... if I was able of course...." Was that all she needed to say? She gasped in realization.

"M-my quirk!" She searched her brain nearly forgetting what her quirk was for a moment, despite it being so obvious to everyone who was watching her right now. "I...I'm like a mouse! I have super sensitive sense of smell and hearing... I... I'd really appreciate it if no one wore any strong perfume to class, if that's okay... oh, that's irrelevant. Sorry." She blushed. "I can climb really well, upside down even, and the newest part of my quirk that I discovered is that I can emit ultrasonic waves to deter and distract villains." She seemed proud for a moment, and then thought of something else. "Oh! I won't show you that because I don't want to give you all annoying headaches. I... I guess that's all..." She bowed quickly and then dashed off the platform, taking her seat again. Despite having a variety of skills, Sakura wondered silently if all her mediocre talents were as good as one very useful combat quirk.

Akiyama Kamakiri
Mashiro Akiyama.jpg
"Kachiiin~!! You got a letter in the mail!~"
The familiar, warm voice of her mother flooded the tiny apartment that Akiyama called home, taking her attention away from the small bug cage she'd been tending to, it's occupant; a small, prismatic beetle with a brilliant green shel,l enjoying a nice meal of mint leaves graciously laid out for it by it's new owner.
Walking into the living room where Akiyama sat, a bowl in one hand, a whisk in another, and a letter stamped with the Angelwood Academy wax seal in yet another, Mashiro Akiyama placed the letter in the mantis girl's hands, watching in rapt attention with motherly, piercing red eyes as her other two arms busily stirred the bowl's contents, eager to see what future awaited her youngest daughter.

After falling into the water alongside the dinosaur, Akiyama's memory of the test was completely blank, sans waking up on the dirt, surrounded by the faces of her two supervisors, and a few concerned test-takers.
From what she was told, she'd washed up unconscious on the sand while the other students were loading the last of hostages out of the boat.

Ever since then, her day-to-day routine followed a similar formula; training often, eating seldomly, and sitting at home, tending to her bug collection and devolving into a tiny bundle of nerves.
With the letter now in her hands, Akiyama's anxiety reached it's peak, and with a nervous swallow, she opened the envelope with her claw, opened it's contents, and began to read:
Supervisor's Assessment (Akiyama Kamakiri): You failed to rescue any hostages from the ship, or obtain any clues pertaining to the ship's sabotage.
What's more, you also enacted in a very dangerous and what seemed to be poorly thought out plan, which, while successful in it's goal of disabling the Autonomous Threat present in the test, came at the expense of your well-being, your ability to participate in hostage retrieval, and nearly even your life.
The words on the page struck Akiyama like a rain of physical blows, causing her to cringe until her lower eyes sealed shut.
All of her hard work...all of those hours of practice...All of her hopes and dreams...Everything was slipping away!
Her upper set of eyes continued to follow the text of their own volition, despite of the protests of their owner.
However...
Akiyama's eyes hesitantly opened one of her eyes, a small bloom of newfound hope pushing her to read on.
...Your ability to react swiftly, and with aplomb in the face of danger did not go unnoticed by either of your supervisors, and it was your decisiveness and brevity that protected your fellow examinees, as well as the life boats needed to rescue the hostages trapped within the ship, which in turn ensured a successful and unhindered rescue.
-Officially signed, Mouse King, Akio Watanabe
For satisfactory performance in both the practical and written exam, the recipient of this letter, Kamakiri Akiyama has been accepted into the Angelwood Academy of Superheroics.
Please report to orientation on...
Akiyama quickly lost interest in whatever else the paper had to say, her wide eyes focused only on a single sentence on the page: "Kamakiri Akiyama has been accepted into the Angelwood Academy of Superheroics."
Breaking the silence caused by her daughter's sudden, catatonic stupor, Mashiro concernedly asks, "Well, darling? Did you pass the test."
In response, Akiyama robotically turned her head towards her mother, boring into her intently with all four of her eyes.
Without warning, her two claws abruptly shot straight up into the air, her two arms joined them soon after, raised to the sky in victory.

"That's great~! I'm so proud you and Inoue managed to get in~!" Mashiro smiled, familiar enough with her daughter's odd mannerisms to know what such a gesture meant.
"Oh, But what does it say on the back?"

Swept up in the excitement, Akiyama hadn't noticed the wall of text that littered the other side of the page.
Carefully plucking the letter out from her claw, Akiyama inspected the back of the letter.
Oddly enough, it seemed to be mostly handwritten in ink, in a rough, heavy-handed style, as opposed to being printed.
P.S. FOR THE GRIEVOUS AND CALLOUS BESMIRCHMENT OF BOTH MINE AND MOUSE KING'S CHARACTER, AS WELL AS THE RECKLESS AND INSULTING ACCUSATION THAT EITHER OF US WOULD EVER CONSPIRE SOMETHING SO FIENDISH AND CRUEL, AS TO SINK A SHIP FULL OF INNOCENT CIVILIANS, I HEREBY ORDER THAT THE RECIPIENT OF THIS LETTER; AKIYAMA KAMAKIRI REPORT TO THE SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLASS FOR DISCIPLINARY ACTION, IN THE FORM OF ONE HUNDRED CONSECUTIVE LAPS!
-OFFICIALLY AND DYNAMICALLY SIGNED, THE GREAT AND MIGHTY HERO, ONI JIRO.
The angry addendum finishes with a bold, stylish signature that took up nearly half of the page.

After reading the written scolding, Akiyama's raised arms slowly begin to flag, her previous enthusiasm visibly draining out from her body.
Oblivious to the ruined mood, Mashiro raises two of her own dainty arms in the air, offering a soft, cheerful, "Yay~!" in congratulations.
---
Several weeks later
Her uniform was cleaned and pressed to perfection, she'd had a big breakfast, and her bag was filled with supplies and all of the newest manga circles.
Akiyama was ready for her first day of school.
She'd expected her first day to be like her tests; full of danger and unbearable tension, but to her surprise, her first day as a hero was beginning with a rather mundane start; a group introduction, just like at any other school.
One by one, students took turns making first impressions with the class, some faces new, some familiar.
When Sakura took the stand, Akiyama's tiny wings fluttered in excitement.

Eventually, it came time for her to make her own introduction, and Akiyama followed in the footsteps of her peers, approaching the front and facing towards the classroom.
"My name is Akiyama Kamakiri. Please treat me well," She begins, respectfully bowing towards the class with her arms locked stiffly at her sides.
Stretching her sickles out to their full length, Akiyama goes on to explain,
"My quirk is my really big pair of extra eyes, and these really long claws...Last time I measured them, I think they were somewhere around 9 feet or so..."
"I've also been training really hard as a boxer to use them effectively. Sometimes I'll also train by going to the river, and catching dragonflies with nothing but my claws."
As if it was important to note, Akiyama adds, "Although, sometimes I'll do that just because I think it's fun."

After retracting her claws, and taking several seconds to consider her answer to the teacher's second question, Akiyama solemnly responds,
"My reason for being a hero is...I want to fight crime and help people alongside my older sister. She's already in her third year here, so I guess I'll be counting on all of you to help me close the gap between us."
With her speech seemingly concluded, a second passes by in silence, the bug girl taking a sudden interest in her own shoes.
Another second drags by, this time she contemplatively looks out the window.
One more second crawls past, Akiyama's eyes watch the clock in rapt attention.
Suddenly, her eyes lock back onto the crowd, as if she'd suddenly remembered they were there, and with an equal amount of abruptness, she states, "...That's all I really have to say..." before bowing once more, and returning to her seat with not another word spoken.

Mentions: No one in specific aside from insults.

The hyena male was sitting towards the edge of the room, tail flicking annoyedly as he watched all the annoying plebs introduce themselves and their quirks. So we had insect, how ironic considering there was an actual insect in this room of insects, tentacle, plant, rat, gold, ice, tree hugger, etc. Ugh, all of these students seemed like they would be a complete annoying pain. After a long moment of wait, he sighed and decided to get up. Might as well get it over with, even though one of these insects were worth his time. Hiro slowly got to his feet, swaying slightly and his balance shifted before he walked to the front of the class, hand shoved deep into the pockets of his uniform as he plodded up, tail twitching, once in the front of the classes he spun to face the group, silent for a moment as he looked over them. He let and exaggerated sigh at the male shifted all his weight to his left leg, "My name is Yamasaki Hiro, and as you can see, my quirk Is Hyena, I can do everything a hyena can." He speaks in a clearly intentional, sarcastic, bored voice. "And I came to this school because I am going to be a greater hero then all of you." He puffs, confident and clearly uninterested in those here. Hiro was actually more interested in the money overall, but people would like the other answer better he thinks. After staring annoyedly at the group for another moment, he headed back to his seat, plopping into the chair like a sack of potatoes, throwing one arm over the back of his chair, before he puts his foot on the desk, again.

Umahime Meiyo

The people around have shown their Quirks and reasons for being in this school. Some are interesting, some aren't. There are that are friendly and those that are selfish. One person sees them all as obstacles to her goal of greatness. If she wants to be on the very top, then she must topple them all. She must show them what it truly feels like to be a student of Angelwood Academy, no objections. As soon as the hyena boy went off, it is her time to shine.

Clip...clop...clip...clop...

As she goes to the front, she gave everyone a death glare. One can tell that her aura is so menacing, that it feels like Satan is among the batch of students and his Quirk is ready to unleash hell itself. As soon as she reaches the front, she faces her fellow classmates as she begins to speak.

"Good day to all of you peasants. I'am Umahime Meiyo, the latest in line of the Meiyo family of pro heroes and government officials. As you can tell by my appearance, there is no need for explanations. But if your mind is as dumb as a sloth then let me tell you, because I have the lower body of an equine, I can run as fast as a bullet train, stomp as hard as a dumbell, and kick as painful as a truck. I would not mind if any of you peasants hop on me, as long as you KNOW what you are in for. As for my reason for being in here, I want to be the very best among the class and be the very best in the field of heroism. That is to say, I want to be number one. If there exists any one of you who can out shine me, then expect a great competition in which YOU CANNOT WIN. That is it for my introduction, and again, good day to you all...peasants."

With that said and done, Umahime went back to her seat- er, space with a desk rather. Who needs a chair with a body like that? No one, not a single soul.

"Alright everyone!" Kenta smiles, clapping his hands, "Now that introductions have been completed I will now go over all the basic information you need to know for this class, and this school year." He smiles as he then, with the help of Ms. Hakunetsu explained everything they needed to.

When he finished, the bell rang. "And that's all you need to know!" He smiles, "Your next class will be Gym class! You will find your gym uniforms in your lockers and of course, you must go change in the locker rooms." He smiles, "Once you are done we will go meet up in the training fields near the gym!" Kenta states as he sends them off. He feared for these children.

Yoka's hand finally stilled over her PDA as the introductions were concluded. Yoka rolled her eyes as she slid the PDA into her coat pocket and folded her arms. Finally, these introductions were becoming so boring and forgettable that she felt she'd been sitting in her seat for a month. Sonata showed no such strain, her disgustingly pleased expression remained even when students were outright dismissing them.

Instructions were given, and soon the bell rang before they were dismissed to Gym class.

"Oh my." Sonata stood with more flair than any single action should ever deserve "A bout of physical improvement sounds grand."

"Watching a bunch of children struggle to move... whoopee." Yoka deadpanned as she made for the door.

Sonata's scarf reached back and slid her chair properly back into the desk "No need for such thoughts," she chimed whilst rubbing the back of her hand against her cheek "proper exertion does wonders for the skin."

If Yoka heard that declaration, she didn't say anything. She was already out the door, her little legs carrying her farther than someone with such an unenthusiastic tone should. Sonata, on the other hand, took her time making her way out in the hall and approaching the locker rooms. Every step she took glamorized by the flowing nature of her clothing. The fine relaxing vibe of the hallways made her steady her gait, more than willing to enjoy the superb aesthetics of Angelwood Academy. Though Sonata was anything but slow, the difference between her and Yoka was striking. By the time she was halfway to the locker rooms, Yoka was already partially done changing into their gym uniform.

Akemi Tajima
Akemi had sat through most of the introductions calmly aside from mild irritation that both Inky and Spot had gotten in, though she supposed she couldn't be that huffy about Inky being there since she had been part of the impromptu team-up for the entrance exam and she wasn't a complete ass like Spot was. A couple of the other girls stood out to her as interesting people to befriend especially since Umaru didn't seem to be around, Sonata in particular had a sense of style that she could appreciate. The centaur girl seemed to have been trying to intimidate everyone she made eye contact with though naturally that hadn't really worked on Akemi who had simply smiled brightly and waved, while being referred to as a peasant got her a little rankled the speech in general was more laughable than anything.

Standing when they were dismissed she transferred Pocky to his usual spot on her shoulder and strode out into the corridor with an air of ease giving a small nod to a some of her former collaborators. Easily finding Sonata in the corridor Akemi picked up the pace a little to catch up to her.
"Good morning Sonata-san! Mind if I walk with you?" She greeted the other girl serenely. "You're introduction was quite eloquent, you must have lived in this country for quite some time to speak Japanese so well."

Chiaki Hakunetsu [x]
Homeroom teacher
Introductions hall

With:
Kenta Yamasaki ( Kimona Kimona )
Kenta's enthusiasm in front of the new students was enough for Chiaki to show a wry smile, though it seemed to be waning by the end of the introduction session. Several of the children seemed to find it just as trying: she could see glances towards the clock and half-stifled yawns as the last few students introduced themselves in a medley of stammers, boasts and monotones.

With the closing statements finished by the two of them, she took a final glance at the sensible black notebook in her hands, the page filled with sensible black ink. Details of each student were on the school system, of course, but she had wanted to note down the details important to her: how the students in her care handled themselves, in a teaching environment as well as the mock-disaster-scenario they had been put through on entry. And, perhaps more importantly, how they handled each other.

Chiaki closed the book with a snap. "A lively collection," she said to her colleague, once the bulk of the students had filed out. "But we'll see how driven they are once the excitement has worn off."

It was the energetic ones that stuck with her, particularly those who had couched their excitement in arrogance. Partly because they reminded Chiaki of herself at that age, and how she feared she could have turned out without the guidance she'd received. Knowing that it was her turn to play that role was more daunting than she cared to admit, even to herself.

Ai had listened to the others and most seemed okay though the centaur really struck Ai as annoying. Umahime was something of her opposite Ai was shamed by her family and was going to fight against them, while Umahime was proud of her family and wanted to live up to them. Ai did feel the two of them would clash given their polar opposite views on carrying on the family name. Still it was best to not seek out a fight, not yet Ai wanted to keep a lowish profile, hide her power, she just had to get a licence then her family would all. Ai quickly put these thoughts out of her head, there was no point in brooding over something that had yet to happen and while likely might not happen Ai was going to try to be normal or as normal as she could be. Other than the centaur most everyone else seemed nice enough, though Ai suspected like her each thought of how they might fight the others when the time came to do so. Still class would come and class would go and it was time for gym.

Ai actually had an idea while class was going on, it might not be a good idea but maybe it would defuse some possible tensions. Ai left maybe Umahime wasn't as arrogant as her introduction made her out to be as well it was just want anyone shooting for number one would say, aside from the peasants comment. Actually thinking it over Ai kind of wanted to fight her, though doing so would be difficult without revealing to much about her real quirk. Well trying to make friends with the girl that acted like a rich girl couldn't be to hard.

Ai walked over to the horse girl with a what she thought was friendly smile " So what brings royalty to this serf filled school?" She asked actually a little curious as what brought her here instead of to U.A. if her family had such good connections.

Sonata looked to Akemi as she spoke, her fluid pace uninterrupted as she approached the locker rooms, "Walk where you wish, Darling. There's certainly room for all."

Clasping her hands together, she smiled to herself at the fortune of Akemi's Quirk. It provided her the sight she could've lost. Sonata couldn't bare the idea of not being able to appreciate the various forms of beauty all around her. Though her first mentions of blindness had initially drawn Sonata's sympathy, the boon of her quirk had instead elicited appreciation for the beauty such powers afforded.

Giving a small hum, Sonata paused next to the locker room door and looked back at Akemi "Why, I suppose you could say that I've lived here all my life. My family brought their business to this land to flourish, and I was a portent of that flourishing."

Her Scarf reached towards the door and held it open for Sonata as she entered, "And even if I weren't, Eloquence is possible for all."

"Don't lie to her, Lafayette."

Sonata gave a small laugh as she approached her locker, Yoka had just finished pulling on her gym clothes as she had entered "I know plenty of people who wouldn't know 'eloquence' if it manifested a physical form and drop kicked them."

Sonata took the time to pull out the uniform and feel the fabric in her hands, "That does not mean it's impossible for them~" she chimed while running her fingers along the cloth. Yoka merely rolled her eyes before making her way to the Training Fields.

Kuroki Noto

Kuroki got up quickly as the bell rang for gym and headed to the lockers. She immediately began to think of all those she already decided she didn't like, but then remembered looking like a fool at the entrance exam. It was a wonder she even passed, considering she looked like an angry moron and never even got to use her quirk. What if they only let her in cause they hadn't seen her quirk yet an were giving her the benefit of the doubt? What if she should give all the others she hated the benefit of the doubt too? Regardless, she didn't want to get angry too prematurely. She needed to watch and learn from the others, especially on this first day.

Kuroki didn't like the class A-B set up, as she didn't know who she was wasting her mental energy paying attention to. Hell, she didn't even know what class she herself was in. The one thing that pleased her though was that Lee Vanderbilt, the American nerd she had yelled at on the just the signup day, wasn't here. He must not have made it, which kind of surprised the girl, considering she had passed and she didn't even use her quirk and had floundered uselessly for the whole exam. Was the entrance rate really only %1? But Lee wasn't here, and Kuroki's competitive spirit was both happy and sad. She had beat him! But then again, now she couldn't have daily spats with him, which while mentally exhausting, would be kind of fun.

Kuroki had memorized her locker number and combination the day that information had come out, so getting into her gym clothes was easy. They felt nice; crisp, clean, and they fit well. She was small, but she had purposely asked for a size larger so she felt free to move in them. She closed the locker and casually began to make her way to the gym.

With all the introductions done, it is now time for gym class. Aijou was excited, hoping that there would be an obstacle course or a sparring session, which Merkava also hoped. Aijou looks around until she sees Frieda heading off. "Frieda!" She called as she goes up to her so that she and her join in when they enter the locker room together. "Say, Frieda, I've noticed that you were not too confident in your introduction. Is there something that you're afraid of?" Aijou asks, showing her concern for her friend.

When they get into the locker room, Aijou strips off her regular clothing in exchange for getting into her gym clothes. It was comfy, at least there is no problem with that.
