Fantasy Angels, Demons, And Humans: Races of the Universe

Maitahl shifted but didn't awaken as her Lord's magic was pushed into her. It was probably the very first full night's sleep she had gotten in a long time. Awaking in the morning, she stretched and smiled softly. Turning to her Lord, she realized he was already awake as well. "Good morning my Lord." She said pleasantly. "Have you a plan for today?" She trusted her Lord implicitly and would never doubt his judgement.

Kiriel nodded and looked at Maithal, "Morning, and yes I do, we will go and track down the ship seems it has fallen into a nearby body of water, judging by how close we were during our collision the angel's ship there will probably be some soldiers there or probably ranking officers."

"A sound plan my Lord." She said as she got up, removing her previous spells from the windows and door. "Shall we move now, before the angel presence realizes we are here?" Now that she was reminded of the dangers they are in, the smile was wiped off her face and she focused on the job at hand. "I am unsure if my presence alone will be able to protect you, my Lord. It would be best to find some of the other officers. Safety in numbers, as it were."

Kiriel hopped out of his bed and slipped on his shoes which he had lazily kicked off last night, seeing that Maithal had taken the spells off of the exits he stepped outside knowing she would follow. He went out of the motel and turned down the street towards the water he had seen as he fell yesterday, as he walked to he passed an old fashioned electronics store which had TV's in the front he stopped and stared shocked as he saw a familiar face on the screen. Gabriel appeared to be downtown with a somewhat battered squad of angels speaking to a news reporter giving them the whole story about the war slanting it of course so they could gain human support. Kiriel became angry and dispelled his disguise revealing his wings and horns. "Maithal...let's go."

Maitahl saw the broadcast as well and simply bowed her head to her Lord's command. "As you wish, my Lord." Her disguise melted away and a quick spell gave her wings of darkness, enabling her to follow her Lord if he took to the sky. "If we seek out the angels now, it would only play into their story." She spoke after some time of silence, not wanting to intrude upon her Lord's privacy and yet not wanting him to make a rash decision. "We must wait, and think upon our choices."
