Elizabeth frowns. "Uh, alright, I guess. Let's go, Mak."





Mak pops back into existence, this time as what seems to be a small stuffed wolf. "Okay, Lizzie!"





The two of them head to the office together.

"Well I guess you weren't stuck then. Good job with whatever that was!"


Mezbet says to Ms. Faraday.





"Are any of you hurt? I can help. Even if its something small."

Lily goes to a wall panel and messes around with it. The ceiling of the room then begins to rain down water on everyone inside. “Cleanup time. I am going to be taking the bloody liquid and placing it in a tank for further examination.” She looks over to Anna. “Are you alright there? Do you need some help?”


Then Epatus begins flailing and kicking the slime around. “I do hope you stop soon so it can wash away into the holding tanks.”


G.A.R.Y notices that, immediately after absorbing the large chunk of ooze, he begins to feel different. Weird, but not too weird. Perhaps if you can get a hold on some more Mary ooze something will happen.

You four walk through the hallway and enter the main office, asking for assistance in finding the bathhouse and answers. A man in a nice suit comes over and offers his assistance. “If you have a question that needs answering, I’m the man. If you need a place to go, I have a map.” He pulls out a large folded map.


This map man takes you two down the hall to the ‘major living arrangements,’ as he would call it. “The community bathhouse is right over there near the lunchroom. Anything else you need to know or go?”


( @Raizel ) Taiga:


The doctor grabs a metal object and scans you. “Everything seems normal. No oddities in electromagnectic field. Good.” She puts it away and turns back to you. “Ms. Faraday will be here soon. She will be able to fully explain the situation to you. All I know is that you and some others are the key to ending our world’s wars.”


The dragon wakes up with a bunch of strange people all around her. One of the doctors exclaims “It’s awake!”


The dragon gets up. The doctor tries to get her to lay back down, only to be met with the dragon jumping over his head onto the bed next to Taiga. It speaks in a soft voice. “Where am I? Where is Hakren?”

G.A.R.Y drops his slightly raised hand down, he visibly gulps as he seems lost again the world of his own, he sniffs the air arround him... "Ms faraday wait!!! hold up!!! I..... need.... I need to investigate this ooze aswell... I need to.... s-see it... i need to know where it goes... this is of most... u-um... important of manners. This is very crucial f-for me.... I need to see and... sample this." He seemed rather desperate, it was the frist time where he stumbled upon his words with such shakeyness. at points, during his pauses... it would begin to take a voice completely different than its normal, but it resumed with his normal talking behavior

Anna just continuously threw around goop everywhere just to get it off of her, her great sword clanging heavily on the ground as she dropped it in desperation as she slung clumps of goo right off herself making even more of a mess...


However as the Sprinklers turned on, Anna finally started to calm down in relation to the amount of bloody goop that was on her....


Anna was almost visibly shaking as she deeply and slowly breathed in and out, her mind still in the initial shock as traumatic images and feelings flash back into her mind, completely ignoring Lily...


After a moment of breathing inwards and outwards and letting the water wash her and her armor off...


Anna stood upwards, lifting up her massive sword again and exhaling a deep, relieved sigh...


"I-I'm fine now..." She said as calmly as she could...


"It's just... it's just a lot of blood like that all the sudden is something i'm not uhh... used to!" She then seemed to boast... Attempting to put a heroic smile onto her face.


"Now that... that bitch is gone.... what was it you were going to have us do?" Anna asked Lily, still actually not knowing the humans name, let alone what a human was, still trying to hide the obvious trauma she had just went through....

Mezbet stares at the scene Anna had made.


"It's good that your not used to this much blood. That gooey woman seemed happy to slaughter. Even if you have to kill you should never enjoy it."


Mezbet glares at Epatus' in a chiding manner.

Epatus' frown becomes almost comically large, though the sharp teeth and glowing eyes negate some of the humor value.


"I'm sorry, it almost sounds like you expect me to abandon centuries of tradition because someone can't stand a little joy in battle. Excuse me a moment.





Epatus' frown and eyes disappear into the shadow of the hood, which quickly recedes. The room seems to brighten and warm up as the robe disappears, turning back into his shirt.


"Wow, okay, I keep forgetting how tired this makes me. Look, at least she's dead or... Well, fucking SOMETHING. We can put this madness behind us. Now then."


Epatus turns to the scientist. "Where is the dragon?"

Elizabeth frowns. "Look, I just want something to eat, and an explanation of where the hell I am. Is that too much to ask?"

 

[Gabe]

Taiga kept staring at the dragon after the exam or whatever that doctor did ended. In Aurora, he have only heard of one dragon, and it was the wife of the general of the Blood Horde, a great nation in the northern parts of the Zephyr continent, in a cold valley. The dragon's power was so strong, that the nest irradiated magic, making the city of which was housed, Gardenia, a dome of eternal spring, contrasting with the almost eternal winter of the Northern Mountains. So it was sensible of Taiga to freeze in fear. "Uh, buh, uuuuh..."

 

[Thorn of Discord]

"Oh my, what a dapper outfit you have sir, a fine use of color." Melpomene rubbed a hoof on the sleeve of the suit. "And that material, is it Worsted? Personally, I prefer the look of Cashmere; It has a much more.....Er.....my thoughts mirror my companion's..." Melpomene drew her hoof back, and smiled politely.

Lily looks over at G.A.R.Y. “If my experiments leave anything left, you’ll get to do whatever you want.” She starts to walk out of the room again. “I am going to go check up on the dragon, who should be in the doctor’s office by now. Follow or head back to the lunchroom and wait for me.” She leaves and eventually makes it to the infirmary (See: Taiga & Selena)

The man points to the nearby lunchroom. “They have almost anything you could want. As for answers, you are probably gonna want to talk to a lady named Lily Faraday.” He walks away back to the front office, leaving you two to yourselves.


( @Raizel ) Taiga, Selena:


The dragon looks over at you. “Are you alright there?” She looks down and then back at you. “Oh, I’m sorry.”


Her form glows and morphs into a young human adult, wearing casual clothes with a claymore strapped to her back. “That better?”


A human woman in a lab coat drenched in water walks into the lab. ”Alright, where is this dragon and has she been tended to?”


The dragon-human person waves her over. “Me. Your doctors are pretty good at what they do. Restoration magic working with technology? Brilliant. I’m Selena Lek, by the way.”


The fact that this person could deduct that from the machines gave the labcoat woman a slight surprise. “Lily Faraday, nice to meet you. And you?” She turns to Taiga.

 

[Gabe]

Although Taiga was indeed scared shitless, he was quick to regain composure. He placed his hands into the sleeves of the kimono, giving a mix of a kind and stern look. "Me? I'm Taighanim Ashari, hailing from the Shrouded Isles, in the world of Aurora." He looked at Faraday, his tails swishing lightly, surveying the environment. "I say world because I'm pretty sure I'm not in Aurora anymore, considering the amount of technology present in these contraptions."His tails pointed to the medical supplies used to cure the former-dragoness-now-warrior, although his eyes were fixed in Faraday. "Impressive use of restoration magic, although the technology clouded my detection. I believe you're the head of this... place, since your name is plastered in several walls. Can you please, please tell what's going on and why was I taken from my world? Several of your colleagues or subordinates weren't able to partake with this piece of knowledge." He then turned calmly to the former-dragoness-now-warrior, and smiled, himself changing as well. The fox kept the same smile, although more feral than last time. "Impressive changeling abilities, Miss Lek. You must be a powerful individual."

Epatus, having followed Lily, seems in awe that the dragon can take on a human form. Immediately, he kneels before her.


"Miss Lek! As the final surviving member of the great Rimesmith clan, allow me to express my relief at your improved health, and offer my assistance in any way I can!"





Epatus sounds like he's adressing royalty or something.

Elizabeth frowns at this. "Great. Fantastic. Really great. I'm thrilled. Cmon, Mak, let's... Mak? Mak where'd you go?"





Meanwhile, in the medical area, a crow made entirely of black velvet and with a beak of burnished copper flutters into the medical room and perches on an IV rack.





"Hiya, friends! I'm looking for a Miss Farady?"

Anna simply followed Lily as she had nothing else to do and she wanted to keep her mind off of what had happened earlier...


She merely stood at the door as she watched Selena introduced herself and watched others greet her...


Once everyone else stops talking, Anna then speaks up.


"So... You're that... Dragon...?"


She said, a little confused, raising an eyebrow.


"I thought dragons were large mighty beasts to be slain! You look like a normal warrior now...?"


Anna said, placing one hand on her plated hip, while her other hand helped keep her great sword on her shoulders.


At least I can recognize the fox over there.... Even though he has far too many tails then he should...


Anna felt weirded out almost... There were so many strange characters all around her... Even though she's been exposed to magic before... This was honestly a whole different level...


Although she did wonder about that claymore this Selena lady was carrying all the sudden...

Epatus visibly tenses at the mention of "slaying".


"Anna, I appreciate your skills as a warrior, and I find you a worthy ally, but if you so much as look at Miss Lek in a menacing fashion I will likely decapitate you."





As if to punctuate his point, Epatus gets to his feet and stares Anna down.

Mezbet followed too. And interjects as always.


"Stop bickering you too. You are acting like children out for each other's sweets. No one is killing anyone here."


"Admittedly I too am quite shocked by Selena Lek's transformation too... "


Mezbet tugged at the collar of his robes with one hand. He felt uneasy. There was some recollection of the past creeping just out of reach.





"Let's just- Let's just all be friendly okay?"

 

[Gabe]

Taiga looked at the warrior, who looked at the wolf knight. "Wow, Imagine if there was a full fledged dragon here, you would end up offering yourself for food." Fox-Taiga smiled, baring his fangs to everyone. "You were probably summoned by this Faraday human here. I'm Taighanim Ashari, it's very nice to meet you. The cleric is right, you shouldn't be fighting." Fox-Taiga's tails were like a breeze, flowing calmly.

 

[Thorn of Discord]

"I saw a bird flying about, but I don't know if that's normal..." Melpomene trotted into the bathhouse, and observed the pipe fixture in the wall. "I know he protects you, but we seem pretty safe here...do you have any idea what this is?" Melpomene twisted a valve, staring into the pipe's head, "ARRBGKLBGLBG!" and was shocked to be soaked with gradually heating water. "Oh my, that's nice...come check this out darling, this is superb!"

 

[Bluesunnyday]

Elizabeth sighs. "It's a shower. They're pretty normal. I had one before I got teleported here. And a bird? Probably him, then, god knows he can never just be normal. Nope, has to be some kind of stuffed animal. Adorable little fucker..."

 

[Maurj]

G.A.R.Y rushed towards lily "no, no, no, no!!" He was almost to put an hand on her shoulder, but stopped right before touching her with a sigh "No, Ms faraday, this is not a deal of experimenting with the goo or anything of the such, you cant put this aside, you cannot... i need to examine it now, i need to go and have a close encounter with it, examine it and sample it... You simply cannot understand the seriousness of this situation,,, I have to sample it!!!!" he said at a very high tone of voice.


G.A.R.Y made a ruckus, he didnt care for the encounter of the draconian, if anything he didnt even cared for the others on the room, it was just as if he is a different person from before. "You invite me this world, and i find something of relevance in this world, you want me to cooperate... then cooperate with me!!!" His voice shifted completely in the middle of his words, degrading in tone as he continued on. It didnt sound threatening, but rather off how it reached a tone in such a smooth transition

Anna frowns as she practically only hears Epatus's threat, Turning to stare him down in response.


"I appreciate the compliment, however I'm not implying I would actually attack her you know. She honestly didn't fit my description of a real dragon, and otherwise seems harmless enough."


Anna listens as Taiga and Mezbet intervene.


"I'm also not saying i'll kill anyone without good reason here either, Like that bitch in the last room... But i'm all for Kicking your ass later, Buddy."


Anna said almost vindictively at Epatus.


"It's kinda fun to fight though! Not sure if a fox like you would know though." Anna gave a smile towards Taiga.


Foxes... Always too short and always pansies...


She thought to herself, remembering the many so-called "fox warrior" factions that tried to even threaten her kingdom...

Epatus grins at her statement. "You honestly want to fight me? Really? I've spent the last 2000 years slaying powerful foes. How long have you been fighting?"





Epatus crosses his arms. "You wouldn't stand a chance."

 

[aquaInferno]

Mezbet sighs. There was no reasoning with these people.


He instead walks over to Taiga, sticking out a hand.


"It's nice to meet you Taighanim Ashari, I am Mezbet."

 

[Gabe]

Taiga sighed, and morphed again to his normal form. Sitting in the exact same spot from before, the kimono still intact, he was surprised by Mezbet, and shook his hand, smiling. "Wow, someone with manners! Knight-wolf and weird warrior there were all rude trying to stick their swords into one another. Please, call me Taiga. Taighanim Ashari is a big name, I know." After shaking Mezbet's hand, he stood, placed his hands in the sleeves of the kimono, between the wolf knight and the weird warrior. "Now, we all have a reason to stay here, but killing one another is no one of them. How about we make a little bit of effort to now gnaw on each other's legs for now, and address the issue at hand, hmm?"

 

[Bluesunnyday]

The small plush crow speaks again. "Uh, hiya! Can stop complaining about fighting or expressing belligerent sexual tension through violence AND LEAD ME TO MISS FLIPPIN' FARADAY?!?"





The crow's form briefly wavers, black velvet changing to roiling shadow, button eyes replaced with human eyes too big for their sockets, brass beak becoming a jagged, bloodstained steel trap.





"PLEASE?"

Selena seems a little confused. “Impressive? It’s a trick that all dragons know. At least, from where I’m from.” She then sees a tall man kneel before her, confusing her further. “Um, dude, what are you doing?”


Lily just stands there, mentally questioning Epatus’ actions.


Anna then comes in after everyone settles down. Selena takes interest in what she is saying. “Well, I wouldn’t want to toot my own horn, but I am quite the combatant. You see, this swo-”


Then Epatus stands up and stares Anna down.


Lily sighs and heads over to the wall, slowly taking down a panel and putting her arm through.


Selena gets up and stretches, ignoring the implication that she isn’t a full dragon.


G.A.R.Y runs in, talking to Lily about the red ooze from Mary. Lily looks over at him. “Look, if it’s that important to you, I’ll allow small samples to be given to you.”


Anna then ticks off Selena by calling her harmless. “What did you just say, wolf?” The claymore on her back begins to shift itself and pull out of the scabbard in a slow manor. “You DARE call me a fake dragon and then say that I’m harmless? Do you WANT to get beat up?” She seems to be getting pretty angry now.


And then a flying toy crow yells for ‘MISS FLIPPIN’ FARADAY.’


Lily Faraday rips her arm out of the wall, covered in electricity and wires again. “WHAT?!” She then regains her composure and tries to act nice again. “Sorry. I’m Miss Flippin’ Faraday. What do you want to talk to me about?”

The halls of the lab are filled all of the sudden by a red light and loud alarm. Everyone in the halls end up running to the main sitting area outside the living quarters.


For those in the infirmary, a scientist runs up to Lily. “Ms. Faraday! It’s the armies, they found us!”


Lily quickly turns to everyone else. “Alright, so this is going to have to be quick. You were all brought here as a means to save this world from permanent war. The war is between those who believe in magic and those who believe in science. Each side believes that the other is heretic.”


A cart is pushed into the room, carrying a bunch of jars filled with red jelly and clear water. Lily continues explaining.


“This Lab is the only place on this planet that tries to use the two in perfect harmony. We are seen as a potential danger to both side, thus we are under constant threat of being destroyed by both extremes. We’re hoping you all can help us with these problems.”


She turns and gives the scientist that came here an order, and sending them off.


Lily starts heading off. “The armies will be attacking from the main entrance. I am going to initiate the evacuation. Can I trust you all to help keep the armies at bay?”
