Sure!

Sophie ducked into the coffee shop. Though it wasn't freezing, the autumn air was beginning to get chilly, and the coffee shop was always warm. She wrapped her jacket around her as she glanced at the line. It was fairly long, and she got impatient easily. She bounced on her toes and the line slowly crawled forwards.

Nate didn't normally go into coffee shops due to the price, but his morning run had particularly exhausted him today. He ran in and saw the line. He didn't have any plans today though, so the wait shouldn't cause a problem. As he stood in line, he noticed the long blonde hair in front of him. No way. It couldn't be. He tried to casually look at the face in front of him and saw that it was who he had thought it was. He hadn't seen her since seventh grade! "Sophie?" he sort of asked, still slightly shocked to be seeing her.

Sophie stopped bouncing on her feet and turned around, expecting to see a face from her high school. She looked him up and down, then it clicked. "NATE!" She cried in a voice that wasn't meant for a small coffee shop with lots of people. She pulled him into a hug, which was more difficult than it used to be, since he'd grown several inches in the last 5 years. She linked her arm with his and started bouncing up and down again. "Oh my god, I've missed you so much! Where have you been?"

"I was in California spending some time with my mom before senior year! I didn't think I'd actually come across someone I knew here! How have you been?"

She smiled, thinking about how great his mom was, always smiling, always with a fresh tray of cookies in her oven. "I've been great! My dad and I moved out here like two years ago, and I've been blazing a trail ever since!" She leaned her head against his arm as the line moved up. "God, you've gotten tall. Remember when you were short enough that I could put my head on your shoulder?"

"Those days are long gone I suspect. Mom told me that Dad was 6'7" by the start of senior year." Nate laughed slightly. "So why are you at a coffee shop. Like you don't have enough energy already."

"Oooooo!" Sophie wiggled her eyebrows. "We should go running sometime! Although, me running usually means laying next to a pool." She giggled again as the line moved up a space.

"Okay, deal," I said as I moved up in the line. I looked up at the menu and gasped. "Who pays 5 dollars for coffee?!"

Sophie glanced up at the menu and groaned. "It's not even that good of coffee!" Several customers shot her a look. "Okay, maybe that wasn't the best thing to say here. Whaddya say we ditch this joint?"

(Hi. I'm sorry to interrupt, but would you close the acceptance of this RP It's kind of annoying to see it says 'open' when it's really 'closed'. Thanks in advance.)

I laughed. "Okay. Let's go down to like McDonald's or something. I think that's a little more my speed," I said as I held the door open for her.
