When he was younger, his Father always told him to color inside the lines. "There is a balance to the world, my dear. A natural order to many things." He'd tell her first-born son. "Why, Papa?" Eli would ask, looking up at his father through the rose colored glasses of innocence. HIs father would pause and smile, a peaceful look on his face. "Because the powers that be made the world this way, my baby boy." he'd reply before kissing his son's forehead and leaving for work. One day, he left and didn't come back.


Mama, she was a sly one. She'd try to make poor little Elliot believe that his father left because he didn't love him anymore. Eli knew better than that. He'd heard the fights going on, his mother accusing his father of infidelity. She'd always have a bottle of whiskey on her person, day or night. And when his father would go to work, Mama would always need the help of a different man every day, and tell Eli to play outdoors.


When his father left, the hate started. She couldn't bear the fact that her baby boy had his face, his hair, his eyes. So she did the worst possible thing a mother could do: she shut him out completely.


The woman cleaned up her act, got into a Pentecostal Church and became a woman of the Word. Meanwhile, her son was becoming a man, figuring out what made him Elliot Hollenwood. He was 17 when he kissed another man, a member of his youth group. His mother found him and the boy a few days later, in his room. She threw her son onto the streets and that is where he has been ever since.


From then on, Eli was a young man with no prospects and everything to look forward to from the future. He got by on the money he obtained performing acts that contradicted his nature. Every night was filled with regret and a wad of cash. A life like that would drive anyone else to the darkest places, But Eli kept hoping that something would change. One night, something did change. He was stabbed 42 times by a client, and then dumped in the middle of a street. He was pronounced dead at the crime scene. 3 hours later, he awoke in a morgue. It was then that Eli walked 7 miles to his killers home, entered, and did not come out until the break of the next day. The police found the man severely mutilated, with the killing wound being a knife that he'd made himself swallow. And the only witness to the happening was being escorted to Miss Robicheaux's Academy by two mysterious albino men.


Personality: Eli is kinder than most, given his past. He tries not to compel people to his will out of common decency. He was fairly naive to the darkness of the world. Now that he is neck deep to the darkness of the world, his temperament has changed. he is quieter than before, more observant to those around him. He is jaded, so you'll have to earn his trust. And, his beliefs on everything, from love to God himself, have been shattered. Wears only black and grey now, for those are the only colors he can bear to look at--you could say black is his new favorite color...

• Bio: Syndra has always been the smart one out of the pack, in school passing with flying colors. Due to prior of discovering her abilities her main focus was college. A book nerd at heart she was often reserved with few friends, her best friend was a girl name Sasha. Syndra and Sasha did many things together and were like sisters in a sense, but that changed the night she discovered her abilities. Having an end of the year graduation party with her friends, once the aftermath was over and everyone left Sasha staid after to help clean up and spend the night. Both having drunk more then usual an argument erupted between the two of them while in the empty house, her parents out of town for the weekend. As the argument got more heated Syndra became increasingly more annoyed and annoyed, only wishing she would shut up due to at this point Sasha was in a drunken rant at Syndra. Trying to walk out of the argument Syndra fled to her home library to read while Sasha followed. "Why won't you listen to me?! Will you just stop acting like a b***h and listen to me for once Syndra?! But that's it, you don't listen! Because that's just it, little miss perfect never does anything wrong! After all you're used to getting everything you want and never having to work for anything! Everything is handed to you on a silver platter! Unlike you some people have to work for everything! You only probably got into Yale because of your parents now isn't it?! Did you ever work for anything without Mommy and Daddy's money?!" she shouted at her, her rant continuing to spiral into more hateful words, the argument venturing into a place it doesn't need to go. Syndra becoming too annoyed she spun on her heels and snapped at her. "Leave me alone! Get the hell out of here!"In a blink of her eyes before Syndra could react, Sasha's body was flung across the room and into one of the large windows that Syndra had in her Californian mansion. Although the friends were close it was obvious Sasha always envied her due to Syndra always having a leg up at everything, and with Sasha being poor her envy grew as she always had to witness Syndra's more upscale lifestyle due to her parents being rich. Everything after that was a blur. when her parent's returned home early later that night, her parent's told her the truth. Taking her to the Academy where her mother actually attended when young for a brief period, her dreams of college and everything else were put on hold as she was abandoned by her family at the Academy, left to rot.

• Bio: Ashton Moore is from a small sleepy town within Ohio where not much happened. Growing up there in a town with only two high school and one college, it was a town where everyone knew everyone, and the coolest place really to hang out was the local roller skating ring since it was either that or the movies or the mall. There, he was quiet the small towns socialite due to his charming and playful personality drawing people to him naturally. While on a night out with friends and doing stupid antics they were running across the road of one of the towns slightly busy streets playing 'Chicken' while running across the road. When it was Ashton's time to go a large truck was speeding down and he ran anyways. Once he was about to get hit however he teleported to the other side, shocking his friends. Ashton not even realizing what he had done asked what was wrong as they stared at him as if he were a freak. Each trying to accomplish what he had done none could do it, and the rest of the night whenever a car came too close to Ashton, the same odd occurrence would repeat. Soon it would happen at other tasks. When he was doing a race while jogging on a track with a friend he would teleport ahead if he were about to loose. Soon his friends and others started to catch onto the odd occurrences that even Ashton himself didn't realize until a friend had finally caught it on tape. Rumors swirled once the video was leaked of how he must be pulling a magic trick, or it was edited; others believed he was a mutant or freak wanting nothing to do with him. Finally one day while online he started researching his odd ability and soon discovered that he was a warlock. Having watched the live interview of Cordelia advertising the Academy, he packed up and left his small sleepy town for the jazzy and odd city of New Orleans.

• Bio: Niklaus grew up to be known as the boy who knew where everything was. If you had lost something, he could find it, no matter what. It was mostly a secret at first for his close friends when they had lost something. Things started to change as he started seeing things that would happen to his friends in the near future. Just by looking at things very closely. It was as if the fabric of reality was made of time and space and it was like a large puzzle. Piecing things together was his favorite part. He started to look farther and farther into his friends and families lives until they pervaded his material and dreaming life. He would find dopplegangers of his mother that would be killed right before his eyes, then by a flash, the whole vision would disappear. Showing what would happen in the far or near future. Knowing he would not be able to control what he could and would see, he looked for guidance. He knew his mother would understand but as he told her, she of course, was against it. She knew it came from his father who had passed away when Niklaus was young. Knowing of his abilities, she knew what she had to do. She sent him off to Robicheaux's

New to the Academy or Not?: Cole has been attending the academy for a little over a year and a half now.


Abilities/Powers: Pyrokinesis.


Fears: Colette most fears hurting anyone else, or not being able to save someone when the time comes. Like she'd be too much a coward to do so.


Bio: Cole's family had moved a couple times, but never far away from family. She grew up on the bay in Maryland, her grndfather being a crabber and fisherman, and her uncles being musicians. Her father was out of the picture in Florida, and her grandmother and mother died when she was very young, both to the same cancer within a year of eachother. Growing up with all men, her only inroduction to the magic arts was her oldest uncle whom was a pyrokinetic Warlock as well. The family didn't talk about it, but she was quickly taught to control her ability and how to use it to help others after they came apparent at the age of 13. When he passed though in an accident, Cole lost her only supporter. At only 15 she snapped and nearly killed her remaining uncle when setting his car on fire. Cole's grandfather decided enough was enough and sent her to the academy, knowing it was the one her grandmother attended. They have visited, but only very briefly. Now Cole devotes herself to making her teachers proud and becoming the best witch she can be, and has greatly improved her control. As for forming other powers, she has been able to make a pencil roll off a table (she's sure it was the wind.) and has learned much of potions and spells, but hasn't been able to must anything other than that.


Personality: Cole is very hardworking, and always willing to help. She is often there to help new students adjust, and help any of her teachers with something they may need. Though she has her downfalls with paying attention all of the time, and is very forgetful. Most of the time Cole is a happy girl but has days where it's like a fog is surrounding her. Not sad, not really depressed. Just periods of time where everything's just kind of blank.


Others: Cole's favorite color is black, and all of her journal books are bound in it. She also loves music, and is nearly constantly listening to it or playing the piano.

Bio: Hector was born into a Militaristic family. His father, who was Scottish, was an army veteran in the Special Forces unit, and his mother, American, was a Mechanic for Government Issue vehicles. Living in Boston, they had a hard but stable family life while Hector was in his teens. Then his father was confined to a wheelchair, and became almost obsessed with Hector following in his footsteps. He taught him certain hand-to-hand combat skills and took him to the shooting range a few times.


By 15 however, the mother ran off with another man, and the father was under arrest for the attempted shooting of an African American who he though was trying to rob him. Social services came to collect Hector for a foster family program, but knowing how well it worked for his classmates at school, he went on the run instead. Eventually, he ran with a local gang after hitchhiking to Louisiana. At the time they took him in for his skills and after an initiation they let him stay at one of their old hangouts. But eventually, when he was reaching 16, he started noticing different things about himself. Other than late puberty, he didnt get burned for any fires or sparks from electric cables. One of the gang members had a voodoo mother and took Hector to see her. Explaining what he could be, Hector didnt know whether he found it cool or fearful.


By 18, he made enough friends and infamy to almost feel safe. Wanted even. His powers developed, but because he had only himself to teach, he could only move flames around his skin and light a candle from afar. Still, things were looking up for him until a few crooked cops came by, extortion of youth or something. Hector didnt pay much attention to specifics. His friends fought back behind the shadows, and eventually a truce was called. They were gathered at a warehouse and Hector stayed behind to look after a friends sister. He got a text for him to come to the meeting, and by the time he got there, he heard screams from inside. Barging in, he was cornered by a SWAT team and saw some of his friends on the floor, dead from gunshots. Some of the cops there claimed it was self-defense, but Hector didnt even care.


As he was beaten down and cuffed, his rage took over and out of nowhere, a gas pipe broke and a cigarette lit the place. Blanketed in the flames, he let them grow and burn brighter, and with one great scream the whole of the warehouse erupted in fire. The newspapers the next day described it as "The light that out-burned the Giant Roman Candle", and Hector walked away with the ghosts he carried with him.


Afterwards, some strange albino men found him and wanted him to come with them to an Academy. Hector however, was rather reluctant. To the point on fighting back when they tried to restrain him. Eventually, they sedated him and brought him to the academy while he was sleeping. Hoping to change his mind when he awakes.

• Bio: Benjamin had shown an aptitude for learning and excelled in chemistry in high school. His parents were very strict on him and always made sure he grew up to be a refined person. Benjamin's parents knew that he would eventually be exposed to the world of Witchcraft and magic. They eventually brought Benjamin a book on potions and spells and the history of witches/warlocks etc. Benjamin eventually began practicing from the book and self-taught himself over the years. His parents however kept him hidden from Miss Robichaux's Academy because they thought it would be too dangerous. Over the years, Benjamin decided to test some of his crafts and put a poison in an high school bullies lunch. Officials brushed it off as an over dose of illegal drugs the bully had on him. However, a clairvoyant witch was around and read Benjamin's mind and was brought to Miss Robichaux's Academy. However, Benjamin's parents were strongly against it. But he wanted to go and grow in knowledge. For some reason the parents had slipped into a coma a few days later and are in the hospital. Benjamin instantly went to attend the Academy with no parents holding him back.
  
• Personality: Benjamin is humble and respectful. He doesn't raise an insult or sharp tongue to anyone, unless they are really rude. Benjamin likes to grow advanced in his powers and often practices spells when he can. Though he doesn't possess the talents of other warlocks and witches, he does have an affinity for potions and spells. His aptitude for instrumental magic makes him very useful. Despite looking and acting like a refined person, Benjamin has a dark mind hidden. Often keeping his malicious thoughts to himself and waiting for a chance to take unnoticed revenge on those he doesn't like.

Logan started off life like any other kid, she lived in the perfect house, with the perfect family. So perfect they were one step away


from shooting rainbows and sunshine. But all of that changed when she turned 12, she started to see a side of her father that she


never wanted to see; a belligerent, abusive, drunk. He started to abuse her mother, her sister and her. The longer the abuse went


on the more the fire grew inside of her. That's when it happened. During one of her fathers outbursts she discovered her power


of pyrokinesis. At first she did it for protection, then it rolled into pure rage. She gave him 2nd and 3rd degree burns along his


right side. After that day her family never saw him again.

Logan likes to cover things up and likes to never let people in. Every morning she puts a big smile on her face and acts as if her


life is perfect. She hides all her insecurities and worries underneath piles of metaphorical crap. She has a laid back, easy going


attitude about her, nothing seems to ever bother her. Seems to that is. Deep down incidents and comments eat away at her until


she can't hold it anymore. Causing her to have an explosive and quite volatile outburst, which normally ends with a few broken


items or a broken heart.


She has a young and playful spirit to her...when she isn't "letting her feelings out." She is almost never serious, but when she


is, you know she means it.

Bio: Noah was born and raised in New York city, never one to really question the norm until his powers came in. He had been at a party, like most teenagers would be on a saturday night, when all of a sudden there was a fight; bottles were broken, people were hurt and he was stabbed in the thigh. He didn't remeber feeling the pain, just how much he wanted the girl who had stabbed him, trying to protect her boyfriend from the guy about to break up the fight, to feel it instead. It came as a huge surprise that when he pulled out the shard of glass, the wound closed almost automatically and there was no blood on him. The news came the next day, the girl had died of bloodloss, the femoral artery was severed. He tried to go through the school day the day after, but the feeling of wanting to be somewhere else kept on building until one minute he was in the hallway going to lunch and the next he was outside the school looking at a jet black Rolls Royce and the two Albino men stationed outside explained what was happening, that his family was informed and he was on his way to New Orleans.


Personality: Noah is a rather average boy, liking to keep to himself at times, though sometimes seeking out the limelight. He is a hardworking boy, having been raised in a fairly low income environment, and always tries to help out others if he can. However, Noah is prone to outburst of aggression whether physical or verbal usually depends on the severity. He is sarcastic and cynical, much to the dismay of his nana and mother.


Other: He speaks english and Yiddish as he is half Jewish, half African American. His favourite colour also happens to be black.

Manipulative. Ruthless. Maleficent. When you hear Helen's name, it puts these words to shame. She is the embodiment of evil--using who she wants to get what she wants whenever she wants. None can compare to her cold, heartless demeanor.


She is very into the trends of the new century. If it's new, its hers.


She has a deep hatred for Caucasian folks. She was born in the 50's, and witnessed horrible acts against people of color. It is something she never let go of, instead allowing it to fester and rot her into a totally different person.

-Dexter has the unique ability to detect if someone is lying or hiding a secret by various means. To do this, he has to read the emotions of said person in order to see if they're telling the truth. When he is focused on a person, his senses are enhanced and his body physically reacts to what that person says or does. His eyes have acute perception of body language, his nose can pick up on pheromones in that person, and he can read the vibrations of someone's heart as well as read the person's tone of voice in order to pick up on fluctuations in that person's vocal chords. This power also augments his concilium witch powers in the form of coercion, for the purpose of forcing the person to admit the truth, but he only does so if he is desperate or obligated to.


Power Drawbacks: Due to his special ability and his built up resilience towards it, he can use other witch powers with much ease compared to other witches, but it comes at a price. When his powers are not at full focus he is vulnerable to reading too many people's emotions at once and he isn't able to function until he is isolated from a safe distance from everyone else. In many cases, the emotions of others can transfer onto him, causing him act to uncharacteristically if that emotion is too overpowering. Again, this only occurs when he uses his powers for too long and he has a habit of keeping track of how long it takes for him to gain info. His powers also don't work on:


-someone with more than one personality


-when around someone he trusts, but he can force himself to read that person if he is suspicious of that person.


-a person with a strong apathetic personality type


-someone skilled enough to control or block out how they feel.


Fears: Being deceived or betrayed and not being able to do anything about it. Losing control of his individuality and being powerless to make his own decisions.


Bio: Believe it or not, he used to go to two different colleges to study law and fashion design respectively. His witch powers revealed themselves after he graduated and followed through with his plans on becoming a prosecutor. While cross examining a witness who murdered two people including his son, his lie detection powers resonated and he called the witness out on his lies. He also senses and reveals a deep hatred for homosexuals. However, combined with feeling the witnesses' hatred for them and his increasing rage at the witness telling a blatant lie on the stand. He accidentally coerces the witness to admit the truth, right before his brain boiled to a crisp in front of everyone. He was hunted down and he fought furiously, but he was mortally wounded by hunters while on the run. Before he could be taken to the stake, he was rescued by a Salem Witch where he spent the last year exploring and understanding his powers and abilities. With a new home, he is dedicated to keeping the Academy safe and protecting the lives of all witches with the best of his ability.

Personality wise he can be fun to be around if you want to escape the stresses that come with being a witch and he magically seems to get along fairly well with others pretty well (mostly due to his ability to sense the emotions of others. However he is still affected by what he did a year ago and he has a very rebellious, nonconforming view of society's rules and he seeks refuge within a Coven to vent out his frustrations about prejudices of the world. He's been through a lengthy number of relationships that have all ended in failure due to dishonesty, betrayal, or the unwillingness for the partner to stay true to themselves. Due to this, he has developed a cold, distant, and harsh demeanor deep in his soul towards those who cause conflict. He doesn't hesitate to confront and call someone else out on their BS using semi-intelligent comebacks and colorful language and gestures. He can augment his powers through the use of strong emotions. He can also do so by listening to music and the type of music affects how he feels. It can also be used to nullify its effects when he has trouble controlling them. Later he can use pathokinesis, which allows him to use the emotions of others to do things they wouldn't normally do. The extent of the manipulation is dependent on the emotion being augmented. For example he can manipulate feelings of lust, envy, hatred, sadness, joy, and so forth. The number of emotions he controls are limited during the beginning of the RP.

Bio: Life is hard enough as it is. Try being a young, mixed, gay male in a male dominated society that looks down on any guy who doesn't have the same views, appearance, qualities, or upbringing to qualify for the ideal picked fence lifestyle. Lucian was a gentle child who preferred to stay at home and play house instead of playing sports outside with his siblings and the other boys. Growing up he was outcasted for a variety of reasons. He never fit into any group of friends. He was too black to hang out with the white kids and he was too weird to hang out with the black folks. He was too dumb to be a nerd, too unique to be considered popular, and too gay for everyone else who was straight. He faced these realities everyday until he was forced to toughen up and put on an act in order to be accepted by everyone. He hanged with many types of kids but never forming close relationships with any of them. Things hit the fan when he was cruelly ousted out of the closet by one of his highschool crushes who mislead him into thinking that he was the only person who accepted him. Gossip spread fast to his siblings and it finally got back to his white father who kicked him out for not recognizing him as his son. From then on he let life dictate where he survived when he eventually turned to gangs where he used crime and drugs to suppress his distressed feelings. The Coven finally got a hold of him when his mother ,who was in a coma at the time he left home, contacted them to help find him after discovering what her husband did to him. He was cornered during a robbery gone bad and he used his emotional augmentation powers along with telekinesis to push back the cops and their cars. He had eventually stumbled upon the city of New Orleans during his getaway and the Coven was able to capture him before he was arrested. With enough coercing, he vowed to make a better life for himself inside his new home.


Personality: Lucian can be very rough around the edge, becoming very confrontational and irate when his masculinity is questioned. He's very insecure about showing his interest in feminine things and he keeps up a tough guy facade in order to protect himself. This often gets him into trouble and he has a hard trying to keep things from escalating to that point. If he is comfortable around people who accept him regardless of his sexuality, he is prone to letting his feminine side shine through a bit through timid dialogue. On the inside he's a big softy who goes out of his way to protect others and to make others happy. By doing so he gets the wrong impression from others due to his agitated and aggressive personality. In addition, he gets very shy and embarrassed around guys that he's attracted to.


Other: He likes to wear bright and bold colors and he usually goes for outfits that show off his muscles and tattooes. He has a few decorating both arms and the top of his back followed by one going around one side of his neck. He uses a lot of hair dye, but he currently has one side of his curly hair dyed a turquoise blue as indicated in the photo.

Conjuration- can cast spells to conjure a number of things, including copies of people, animals, and the dead to an extent. She can use this ability on herself to make copies of herself or any inanimate object that is of a certain size. With this conjuring ability stems the ability to cast illusions for a short time as well. Due to her ability to conjure, it also enhances her transmutation spells.


Drawbacks:


-Large scale conjurings or llusions need extensive time to prepare while smaller spells only last a short period of time.


-The caster is vulnerable and inactive while in the middle of a conjuring.


-Longer illusions or conjurings drain the caster over time.


-When cloned, Feija's witch power is distributed equally among her and the clone making her somewhat weaker.

Bio: This young, kind, and exuberant witch was once a teen mom. Her first baby died of miscarriage and her second child was taken away from her and murdered when her witch powers were discovered and everyone she loved was killed for harboring a spawn of Satan. She now strives to be a "superwoman" and is deeply pained when she fails to protect someone. An exceptional african-american and an even brighter student. Much like Cordelia, she values the Coven above all else and she is willing to sacrifice anything to insure that everyone is safe; others often times abuse this information about her to convince her to do things she normally wouldn't. She often studies potioncraft along with the Supreme herself. Her strive for being strong has made her irritable when it comes to failure and disappointment, two things that she can't afford to experience at a time of crisis. With her, everything MUST go as planned or everything is thrown off. Her perfectionist tendencies leave her very high strung and she buries herself in studies in order to be useful to the Coven in some way. She is secretly a former Voodoo witch but she doesn't say anything about or use her other voodoo powers in front of others.

Special Ability:The ability to jinx others or herself with good luck or bad luck. Otherwise nicknamed the "Karma Power". A person jinxed with this ability is branded with a black tattoo symbol resembling a yin and yang symbol (the tattoo is colored in white to represent good luck while a black colored one represents bad luck,) and whatever actions that person performs will come back on them tenfold depending on the severity of the offense. Dependent of the severity of the action, she can actively control when said consequences are put in use. She is also able to enchant objects with these jinxes, with a reward or punishment of her choice.


Ability Drawbacks:


Depending on who or what is jinxed, the extent of her witch powers will be weakened for some time until the ability wears off. Unless charmed with a spell, a powerful jinx will have negative drawbacks on the user if it is applied for too long. In rare cases a jinx can be permanent or it could accidentally affect Azealia directly. It can also be negated by a powerful good luck or bad luck spell or charm.

Bio: An odd girl with a number of tattoos and piercings on her face that makes the other witches very uncomfortable to be around her. She fiercely believes in Karma and isn't afraid to warn others outright whenever the girls do mischievous or sinister deeds. She mostly punishes them with her Karma powers thus making her somewhat feared and avoided by many of the girls in fear of whatever misfortune occurs. Though she isn't all bad, she does reward those who do good in the Coven, with a good luck enchantment most of the time. Other than this she still seems a little off behind closed doors.

Consumption/ Gluttony Inducement- Able to consume anything in order to power up a number of sub-abilities, but there's a few rules:


-She can consume any type of food and can use it to breath fire from her stomach.


-When consuming drinks, she can use the fluid in her body to use water and ice powers


-Consuming meat can heal her wounds.


-If she consumes too much food, she can actually spit fireballs and meteors from her mouth instead of just fire.


-She will only gain weight if she stores the energy in her for too long.


Drawbacks:


-Too much food can cause her other witch powers to grow more unstable.


-Can induce a drunk-like trance where she can't stop consuming food.


-If used too much it causes strain on her muscles and pain in her internal organs.

Bio: A spoiled rich girl who is used to things going her way. She spends her time partying and living it up in her parents mansion. She used to be and still is infamous for being very selfish and ridiculing others who don't fit with what she is "comfortable being surrounded by". She was a wicked teenager who spread rumors and was an overall total b*tch. She got what she deserved in the end, with her peers orchestrating a poetic senior prank which lost her the respect of everyone who put up with her. Now in the Coven, she is given a second chance and she truly tries to make friends (in her usual passive-aggressive way.) Despite this, her true colors are there in plain sight. She often comes across as apathetic and ignorant of the struggles of others, making her a least favorite among the girls. She never speaks on how exactly she was put into the Coven.
