Muse A, sweet and shy, and Muse B, confident and blunt, are both performers in the traveling circus. They travel with a small band of others and the ringleader between town establishments. They start spending time together, and soon enough, their friendship starts turning into more. Just as Muse A confesses their feelings for Muse B, Muse B reveals that they aren’t actually human. They’re the ghost of their former self, bound to the house that they use to own for the rest of eternity. Muse A has to decide if they can accept Muse B as who they really are and whether they want to remain in the house, or relocate.
- Most people don’t give Muse A enough credit. She’s a sassy diva who tends to be the center of attention wherever she goes, but people tend to think that because she’s trendy and popular, she’s a complete space cadet. Muse B has always been her biggest tormentor. Rich, pompous, and snarky, he’s always run in the same crowd with Muse A, and has always resented her for her ability to make and keep friends despite being such a diva. Not-Necessarily-Romantic RP Plot Ideas
- Payment: Muse A has something they want, something they would give anything for. Maybe it’s a wish to heal a loved one, maybe it’s a wish to heal themselves, maybe they want to be a millionaire - whatever their wish, whatever their reason, they find a shady ad in the paper promising that any wish can be granted - for a price. It doesn’t seem like the most trustworthy thing, but for their wish… they may as well give it a shot. Muse B isn’t human - maybe they’re a witch, maybe they’re a genie, but whatever they are, they can make this wish happen. What do they want in exchange? Well, only Muse A’s soul. Or, close enough. Indentured servitude wasn’t exactly what Muse Awas expecting when they showed up, but it’s what they gave in exchange for Muse B granting their wish, and there’s not much they can do about it now.
- Bound: Muse A And Muse B don’t know one another from a hole in the ground. Neither of them have ever met. Well, except for that one time in that one place that ruined everything. Maybe it was a museum, maybe it was a weird pawn shop, maybe a creepy alleyway in the middle of the city - wherever it was, they were there, and so was ’the artifact’. They’re not sure what they did to activate it - they bumped together, maybe, or they both touched it at the same time, or, or, or… Whatever it was, they are now not the only ones in their own heads. Surges of emotions and thoughts that don’t belong to them are rushing in, and they don’t know how to control it. At first, they think it’s mood swings, hallucinations, something normal. Then, the 'binding’ starts. Randomly pulled into the other person’s head, they can see, hear, taste, smell, and feel everything the other is going through, but can they control any of it? Heck no they can’t! They’re an unwilling audience trapped there until whatever power that makes it happen allows it to stop. It’s only natural, then, that they would find each other and try to figure out how to stop what’s happening to them. They manage to narrow the source down to ’the artifact’, but when they go to find it, it is nowhere to be found. As they struggle to find a way out of their situation, they have to learn how to deal with it, and with each other.

Who says the end of the world as we know it has to be lonely or depressing?
