Prequel: One month ago...

Alexander dropped his entire bowl of cereal onto the floor. He didn't even react or notice it as he stared in utter disbelief at his flat screen television. Roxanne hearing something odd looks around the corner of the kitchen to see the crunchy wet mess soaking the hardwood floor.

“Seriously Alex??? Your like a huge man child I have to constantly clean up after.” She said slightly annoyed. Then after she had cleaned it up, she noticed the look of intensity on his face. She had seen the look before and every single time it had sent a foreboding shiver down her spine. It always meant that something bad was happening, or gonna happen.

“What is it? Tell me what's wrong.” She asked, hints of worry, love, and ernest within her voice.

Alex snapped out of his shock finally noticing her.

“Oh, um, its, its Sebastian.” He said still a little bewildered.

Roxanne cocked a solitary eyebrow up.

“Your brother? I thought you said he went missing? Did he contact you? Have you heard anything?

“Well kinda, sorta, but not exactly.” He said pointing to the tv.

Roxanne turned to look.

A newscaster was on and she was discussing a terrorist organization as she was playing a video with an odd looking bizarre face man speaking. His face was blurred using some sort of video effect and his voice had been changed to hide its true tone. It sounded impossibly deep, with a flair of confident arrogance while also giving off the vibe of being aggressive, and commanding. She imagined it as the voice of a unholy demon, but it was in truth, a message from the leader of the terrorists group known as Nighthaven. The video had been posted all over the internet and social media.

Roxanne looked on in confusion.

“I dont get it? Its just a video from some nutjob and his groupies. They've been playing it over and over for the last twenty four hours. You were working that bounty hunting job out of town so you probably didn't see it until now. But I dont see what that has to do with anything?

Alex tightened his lips and furrowed his brow in contemplation. He finally let out a held breath then took a deep breath in as if readying himself to run a sprint.

“Ok remember when I revealed to you the secret of the Ego’s, plus I had cool superpowers provided by Gaia the spirit that protects the lifeforce of planet earth and told you it was my destiny to fight in a war over the continued existence of our entire planet in the future?” he said nervous rushing it all in one breath.

Roxanne scoffed. “You revealed to me? Actually It's more like I caught you grabbing a soda from across the room, using your mind. You were a really a mean dick about being caught too.”

“Yeah the anger is a side effect to using that power. I wasn't aware of it back then. Anyways...” he paused hesitant to continue. “I didn't exactly...tell you everything.”

Roxannes face dropped in surprise, then her face switched to deadly anger.

She spoke with clenched teeth, as if trying to hold in a small explosion.

“When I saw you levitating that Dr. Pepper I told you to tell me what the hell was going on. I wanted to know everything or I would break up with you, cream you in the face with the baseball bat underneath my bed, and turn you into NASA, for experimentation.”

Alex tried not to laugh at the last two threats.

“Roxy I dont think NASA does that type of thing. Plus, I'm not an alien.”

“Yeah I know that now, but I didn't know that back then.” She spoke with an obvious “duh” look on her face.

“And so, you thought a baseball bat was gonna help against my powers somehow?”Alex said in snarky kind of way.

“I dont know. I could always go grab it and we could test the theory?”

Alex couldn't quite tell if she was joking or not so he decided to move on.

“Well truth is my parents were killed by Nighthaven when me and Sebastian were thirteen years old.”

Roxanne gasped. “Oh? Oh my god...” Then she looked at the tv and gasped even more. “Oh my god! And now they're back!”

Alex nods in agreement then continued.

“Yup and that's not even the worse part. After our parents died me and Sebastian vowed to use our Egos to destroy Nighthaven group ourselves. After eight years we finally tracked down the whereabouts of the leader in one of their remote island locations. He was on vacation living like a celebrity while the world burned because of him. So me and Sebastian...executed him.” He said with an air of guilt.

“I never actually thought we would kill him. Maybe take him to the police, the FBI or CIA, something. I never meant what said that day. I was a kid. I was young, and angry, and I missed my mom and dad. But Sebastian didn’t hesitate. He didn’t even blink.” Alex said deep in thought as he spoke. “Afterwards we decided to split up incase the authorities or Nighthaven tried to pursue us because of what we had done. We were supposed to meet here in Harbor Heights three months later. I came, but Sebastian was nowhere to to be found. So I decided to stay here, in case he came. And eventually I met you.”

Roxanne slowly took it all in as if she was getting a clearer picture.

“But wait? If you guys killed the leader of Nighthaven? Then who is that?” She said glancing over to the tv with a picture of the blurry face man.

Alex stared with a stern look on his face.

“That there, is Sebastian.”

Roxanne glance at Alex, then at the tv, then at Alex, then back at the tv.

“How can you be so sure?” She asked secretly hoping it was not true.

“I wish I was wrong. I keep thinking that maybe I am just seeing things but, I can tell by his body language. The way he stands and his physical stature. Even with his voice disguised I can tell by how he talks. Its Sebastian.”

Suddenly Alex heard a voice in his mind, echoing as it spoke

“Awaken...” and he threw his head back involuntarily. His body began to levitate into the air as golden light erupted from his mouth and eyes. He couldn’t hear Roxannes’s terrified screams. All he was aware of was the flashing of images in his head.

Current day...

Fangrey Sky, Alex’s God Ego raced across the rooftops with inhuman speed and grace. He leaped from the edge of one building to the other, a silver furred streak of wind high above the oblivious eyes of the citizens below. Suddenly Fangrey leaps onto the side of a building embedding his fingers forcefully into the stone. He impressively used his claws, strength, agility and speed to quickly climb up the side of the tall building like a squirrel up the side of a tree. Reaching the flat rocky top he leaped up and over the ledge and stopped. He slowly knelt down on one knee with his head lowered to his chest. Suddenly like a ghost leaving a possessed body, Alex slowly rolled out from the large wolf ego’s frame. It would have been bizarre to see, a young man in a wheelchair suddenly appearing out of the form of a huge wolfs as if appearing from nowhere at all.

“Thank you, Fangrey. That will be all.” Fangrey nodded its head and sent Alex a feeling as if to say your welcome and suddenly in a puff of white smoke a blast of wind blew and the Wolf God Ego disappeared like a cloud into the sky.

“Arc Lord. Your up.”

A feeling of worry was sent by the Ego. Alex replied to the thought.

“No you dont have to hurt anyone innocent. Just scare the hell out of them, destroy some property, cause some chaos. I know that the new Alters are here between both cities, but I cant track them down. We gotta get them to come to us instead. Another feeling of enquiring of battle came to him.

“Yes I want you to fight their Ego’s. Use your Lessor Arc Lord form to test them. Find out how strong they are. Then if you can, pass them the notes I gave you. Now go.”

Suddenly smoke billowed up from the ground and twelve forms appeared. They were like bleak man shaped shadow wraiths as each was holding sharp black scythes and flowing black wings spread from their shoulders. In a quick dash moving faster than even the wolf ego prior they all took off leaping from the sky scraper. Their wings caught the wind as they began to glide down to the unsuspecting city below. A scream from a woman could be heard as she spotted the group as they landed . More yelps of fear began to spread throughtout New Grand City as the Lessor took off at another dash slashing parked cars in half, breaking windows, and terrorizing the city in ernest.

“I hope this works.” Alexander said watching the carnage he had caused. The Arc Lord sent a feeling of hope as if to say, I hope so too.

Isahito Aki

Aki’s body trembled in pain, he was aching, physically, mentally, and he would also say spiritually, if souls even exist but he had long doubted it. There’s no way that this man in front of him could have any or anyone that he had met in his miserable life.

Being born in poverty from a mother who sells her body for money and a nameless father, he was never welcomed like a long awaited miracle, as a matter of fact he was treated like a curse that both gave her mother illness after birth andan eye sore to his step father.

Soon after his mother died, there’s no more reason for his step father to shelter him, let alone feed him. Having a pretty face despite his malnourished body, there are few people in this world that would gladly have him and that’s all his stepfather wanted. He was sold by his step father to a rich man from New Grand City who often stays in his house in Harbor Heights for his disgusting amusement.

The man who bought him was called “Big Man’ around Harbor Heights and Aki was called as Big Man’s pet. It’s been a month since he was sheltered and fed by this man and it’s also been a month since he was tortured and raped by the same man. He didn’t expect anything before with the thought that he knew what is to come, only to be shattered by the harsh reality of life.

Now as the man continued to torture him, striking him with a wip after being used several times, his body had reached its limit. Slowly as his consciousness drifts away he thought how the world was so unfair to him, how being born supposed to mean happiness but only gave him cruelness. He would rather die than continue living in this hell that he is in.

After a few days, Aki wakes up but the light forced his eyes to close again. He knew even with his eyes closed that he’s in a different place, he could hear different voices, he could smell a different scent, and he was on a bed rather than the cold floor back in Big Man’s house. He slowly opened his eyes and as his sight adjusted, he could see that he’s alone in a hospital room. He felt an unusual hope surge through him. He could finally ask for help and escape, he felt like he could reach out the freedom he wanted, only to feel his left hand bounded to the bed. “W-what…” His voice was hoarse and trembing as he lifted up the white sheet that was covering his body. His eyes widened as he see the rope tied on his hand and bed.

Suddenly he was laughing hysterically, as he looked up the ceiling. Thinking that someone, a superior being…a God, looking down on him, laughing at his face. “You must really hate me…” He said, tears starting to fall on his pale and bruised cheek. He can’t belive he let himself be deceived for a moment that his life could be somewhat different, that he was given a chance to finally experience how to be alive, only to watch his hope shatter into tiny bits of pieces.

“You finally awake…” He felt his body trembled in fear hearing the familiar voice. He slowly looked down seeing Big Man standing a few steps away from the bed. His round face like a pig, his big eyes looking down on him, his huge lips smirking at him, his small but wide body frame, his cheap looking suit, and the smell of cigarette from his breath. Everything about that man is disgusting and Aki is bound to live with that all his life. “Are you crying? Why? Haven’t I satisfied you enough?” He approached closer, taking hold of Aki’s brown hair pulling his face closer. “I’ll make sure to make you pay for the hospital bills…you piece of trash…Passing out like a wimp before I was even satisfied…”

Aki felt pure range inside of him, he wanted to at least land a punch on the man’s face, even though he would be punished gravely, he didn’t care, all he wanted was to make the man feel atleast 1% of what he was feeling and that’s what he did. Using his right hand, he landed a weak punch on the man’s face and the shock on Big Man’s face made Aki feel a hint of satisfaction. This was the first time that he tried fighting back, it was the first time that he wanted something very bad, and he will be torn into pieces in doing so.

“You fuck!” Big Man exclaimed landing punch after punch on Aki’s face. Aki’s mind became blank, his body felt numb, and then there was this voices echoing on his mind saying one single word, “Awaken…” and his head was thrown back by some force and golden light begin to burst out from his eyes and mouth as his body started lifting through the air, the rope bounding him to the bed slowly untying itself.

And everything was blinding and deafening.

Then suddenly, a woman appeared out of thin air, slowly landing behind Aki. There was golden light and grace surrounding her as she embraced the unconscious young man. There was pure range as the woman look at Big Man. Terror took hold of him and made his body shiver. “W-what’s is thi-“ before he could finish his sentence a spear strikes through his mouth. Blood splattered as his body dropped on the white tiles, his body twitching as the woman summons back her spear.

“You’re free now…” There are no words spoken but feelings overflowing around the place.

Current day
A month after

Aki was looking at the live news on television inside his small apartment. It seems like there was some attacks in New Grand City. There are some panicking witnesses on the screen saying that they saw something terrifying. “Demons! They’re demons!” the woman said hysterically.

Aki looked at the woman floating behind him. She was looking at the screen with her golden eyes, her black hair floating like calm waves in the air. “I think that’s an ego like you Bisha….” He said to her, she stared at the screen before nodding her head. “Let’s go…” her emotion says. “But it’s not like they’re harming humans like the ones we met before…” He said looking back at the screen, there would be violence if the Alter wanted chaos to happen and if the Alter was someone like him who wanted peace to happen, he needs to meet the Alter somehow and if he does misjudge, Bishamon could do the work and punish the Alter. He could feel impatience from the goddess, she really wanted to go there and judge them by herself. “Okay…let’s go to New Grand City…”

Sunny was in her room. Having a room in the attic was nice, light poured in during the morning and she had the whole place to herself. She got to her feet and walked towards the window, the sky looked rather cloudy, it would be best to bring an umbrella.
Sunny went down stairs, greeted by an empty house, her family was out and their dog was asleep. Perfect!
She got her backpack with a smiling sun on it and packed it with a full water bottle, her phone with buds, her umbrella, and ten dollars to buy something to eat while she was out.
She walked out and locked the door behind her. Sunny took a deep breath, the air smelled fresh. Then she began jogging to her favorite park, waving at people on the way.
Upon reaching the park she noticed it starting drizzle, she enjoyed the feeling on her skin. Going deeper in the park, she began noticing less people. However two pairs of footsteps walked in tune with her's. Sunny thought they must have been going her way coincidentally, until one of them grabbed her arm. She turned to see a couple of bulky hooded figures, thrice her size. "W-what do you want?" She said trying to yank away. The rain began to come down harder, the ground turned into mud. The other thug yanked her backpack off her, he grunted with clear dissatisfaction. Neither revealed what they wanted, but she felt as though they might be smiling after the one pulled out her money and phone.
Sunny struggled, finally deciding to scream. Both thugs looked at her and dropped her phone in alarm, though they kept the money and shoved her into the mud before running.
Sunny breathed heavily, she wanted to cry. She sat in the mud for a minute before grabbing her phone. It was muddy, covered in mud, but it functioned... Barely. What really broke her heart was the condition her backpack was in, covered in mud and roughed up. Her parents had gotten it for her tenth birthday. She tenderly picked it up and wept.
She thought she was going crazy when she heard what sounded like a voice telling her to awaken, then she noticed a figure slithering towards her. That was all her concious could hold on to before she levitated and light erupted from her mouth and eyes. Knowledge was crammed into her head and the name of what she now knew was an Ego came to her.
"Grunge." He said in her mind.

Present day

Sunny was trying to read in her room. It was quite the task with her Ego trying to look over her shoulder. He gave off a sense of physical heat and spiritual coldness that left her feeling odd. "Grunge, a little space would be appreciated, you're going to start dripping on the book." She said with attempt to shield the book. Grunge backed off some. Suddenly he went stiff and bolted towards the window. Sunny watched her Ego and felt his emotions of confusion and frustration. She too looked out the window. A melodious voice called for her below "Honey, there's something on the news about flying monsters, you should come see this. You claim that you've seen something close." Her mother called out. "Coming ma! Grunge let's go out, I think I see smoke coming from the North." She said. Her Ego wasted no time disappearing out of sight. Sunny packed her things, she had flash backs of the day she met Grunge, not pleasant but she had to go. She rushed downstairs. The news was right, there were shadowy flying figures. Without another word she rushed towards the closest scene. Her feelings were a jumbled mess from her and her Ego, but she pressed on.

One month ago . . .

Archimedes was not having the best of mornings. Not only did his father and him receive news from the hospital that his mother would not be getting discharged today, his goggles had started acting up. Which left him with no choice but to wrap up his eyes and wait until his father had fixed the error. Without the goggles his father had made for him, Archimedes might as well just be blind with his damaged eyes.

Since his father was going to take who knows how long to fix his goggles, Archimedes on this rare occasion had decided to watch some TV in the meantime as he ate his yogurt . . . Or at least listen to it in his case. After settling down close to the TV, and feeling around for the on button, he was ready to kill some time. Without caring what was really on, Archimedes had settled on listening in on the news.
At first he wasn't sure what he was hearing from the reporter, but this doubt changed when he heard the video being played. Archimedes instinctively raised his hand to feel the bandages around his eyes as he listened in.
Nighthaven

Just hearing the group's name sent shivers down his spine. Surely this was just a group of copy cats . . . That organization had vanished long ago, they couldn't actually be back. The hand he was touching his bandages with, started to shake as he recalled memories from long ago. Events that lingered with his family ever since the incident, that day his parent's lab . . . All of their work . . . Biting down on his lip, Archimedes felt around the TV once again, trying to turn it off. He didn't want to listen to the news anymore, but he kept just missing the button in his frantic search.

"Awaken . . ."
Out of nowhere, he heard a voice and before he could even react, his head was thrown back and was levitated from the air. Not able to see the light erupting from his now uncovered eyes or his mouth, and unable to hear his father bursting into the room screaming in shock. Archimedes's mind was overwhelmed with imagery and a sense of something else. A presence of power . . . A presence with a name.
Agrotora

Current Day:

Archimedes sat at his workbench in his room, fiddling with some weaponry he was currently working. After the last repair on his goggles, his father had added some extra features that worked great for making stuff so when he wasn't testing things out with his sudden Ego, he was hunched over his desk, working. Just as he was carefully adjusting the main spring on his pistol, he felt a slight rumble.

"Agrotora . . ."
Setting his work down, he adjusted his goggles as he turned around in his chair to glance over at his Ego accusingly only to find her staring out the window with her weapon in hand. Raising an eyebrow confused, he asked her what she was looking at.
Agrotora leaned forward slightly, and as always she didn't speak a word. However he did get a sense from her emotions, and ended up looking out the window beside her. He couldn't exactly see what she saw in great detail so he reached up and zoomed in with his goggles. Finally, he could see what had caught her attention.

"Do you think its the group?" He asked her, tensing up slightly.

He got the sense that she didn't think it was.

"Whatever it is, it is terrorizing the city . . . Do you wanna go check it out?"

Agrotora turned her gaze down at him, as if to say "Only if you stay out of danger."

"Lets go check it out."
Quickly he stuffed some things into a bag and swung it over his shoulder. With Agrotora at his side, he tip toed past the room his mother was sleeping in, taking a quick peek at her before leaving the apartment building.

Alex was getting worried. It was taking to long. Were the hell were the new Alters? Maybe they didn't give a damn about what happened to the city. Maybe they were already indisposed with some other crisis and couldn't come? Had he done all of this for no reason? Had he decided to put people in harm's way and cause all of this havoc for nothing at all?
The police had arrived in full protective riot gear some time ago and were aggressively pursuing the Lesser Arc Lords. They should be trying to evacuate the area but other than rushing to save some bigwig CEO's from a couple corporate buildings and a room full of city officials that had been in conference at New Grand City Hall, the rest of the general population might as well have been ants to step on.
Alex shook his head in disgust.
"If this is how they treat the people her in NGC, I cant imagine what they would do in Harbor Heights. Probably bomb it to hell and say good riddence." he spoke to no one in particular. But Arc lords emotions pulled his attention. One of the cops in riot gear had lost his shit. He was firing his side arm frantically in all directions and the bullets were flying dangerously close to innocent people.

"Arc Lord. That idiot is gonna seriously hurt somebody take him out."
A rush of frustration and annoyance from the Ego filled Alexs mind.

"I know because of the gear it makes him alot harder to deal with without hurting him. But we cant just let him shoot innocent people."

One of the Lessor jumped flipping through the air with its wings tightly tucked back as not to catch the wind accidentally. It landed just as the frantic officer noticed it.
It put its clawed hand up silently moving it from side to side as if to say "naughty naughty". It pointed at the officer and held its hand open palm up as if to say "give me the gun", his other hand still clutching the black scythe.
The officer blinked incredulously then pointed the gun at the ego and yelled
"You want it Mr. Black Shit Monster! Huh!? I'll give it to you then! Eat my bullets mutha-" Suddenly one of the other Lessor appeared from behind the officer dashing with great speed and swung the scythe. The flat part of the scythes blade made a loud plang sound as it cracked against the side of the officers helmet sending him sprawling to the ground. He laid there breathing heavily for a moment before he started to stir. Alex and the Arc Lord had hoped to knock him out but the armor had protected him, taking all the blunt force. When the officer got up he had two grenades. One in each hand. One of the pins were pulled. Meaning one of the grenades was live.
"See what you made me do!" the cop yelled. "Actually... I wanted too. Allegiance to Nighthaven!" the cop said as he threw one of the grenades.

Alex yelled instinctively. "Wait! No!"
The grenade sailed into the construction area of an unfinished skyscraper. The workers had escaped long ago in all of the ruckus. Their was a loud hollowed boom from the explosion and a cloud of brown dust shot out of the construction site from all sides as if the building was exhaling a great breath of dusty air. The steel pillars began to sway from the force of the explosion tilting back and forth while creaking from the strain but it slowly corrected itself coming back into still balance. Nothing else happened.
Thank god, Alex thought to himself.
The cop look dumbfounded.
"Well that was boring." he said disappointed. "But I got more where that came from!" he said reaching to pull the pin on the other grenade.
"Stop him! No matter what!" Alex ordered the Ego's. The Lessor Arc Lord dashed in a blur and swung his scythe twice in quick succession. The officers helmeted head was flung off of his shoulders, seperated at the neck and tumbled onto the ground while the officers arm holding the grenade seperated at the elbow and spun in the air flying for yards into the empty scene of a public childrens playground. And exploded. Flame shooting outward a blanket of heavy black smoke billowing into the sky. The playground erupted with hard colorful plastic pieces fly every whichway, charred, burned, and melted beyond recognition.
The weight of guilt settled heavily on Alex's aching shoulders. A month before, he had only taken one mans life. An evil mans, long long ago. Now he had taken many mens lives, and this was just yet another. He wondered if he was slowly becoming like his brother. A feeling of resolution filled him as if to say, "never".
"Thanks Arc lord." Alex knew that when dealing with a psychotic group like Nighthaven their was no choice. You had to take some guilty lives in order to save a lot more innocent ones.

Suddenly three swat team trucks pulled up around the area and what seemed like a small army began to shuffle out of them.

"The monsters killed the Police Captain!" One of the swat yelled looking at the beheaded corpse. "That confirms it. The captain was right. They are taking lives. Use deadly force!" The group of officers whipped their handguns up shooting at the Lessor.

One of the wraiths jumped high into the air its knees tucked underneath it as it spun the staff of its scythe in front of it effectively deflecting the bullets.

The other dashed to and fro, zig zagging to dodge the bullets.

It would take a whole lot of energy to summon them all at once but it couldn't be helped. Now that agents of Nighthaven were involved he couldn't take chances.

"Braxana. Help the twelve Lessor Arc lords fight. Take out the cops. Try not to hurt them but you can kill them if your cornered and desperate or if you see them putting innocent lives in danger. Their may be more Nighthaven out there."

In a flash of flame the armored and muscled she devil appeared, his demonic ego. She bowed her head slightly and gave a feeling of deep reverence as if to say "your wish is my command master". Alex hated how devotedly obedient she was and when she referred to him as master but he didn't have time to argue that now. The demon woman stepped calmly off the ledge and began to fall feet first like a heavy stone to the street far far below.

"Fangrey sky." In a puff smoke the Wolf God appeared. The woosh of fatigue could be felt washing over him as he felt the energy leave his body. Good thing Alex was already sitting down in the wheelchair or he would have fallen over as his head spun.

Fangrey yelped verbally and sent a feeling of great worry to Alex as he looked down at him.

"I'm fine. But i need you stay here and guard me in case some trouble decides to find us."
Fangrey nodded proud to serve as protector of his Alter.

The Lessor Arc lords began to attack the swat team and armored police using the blunt sides of their blades. Braxana hit the ground in a crouch crushy the concrete below. She quickly snatched up one of the swat team members and lifted him to her face with little to no effort. He fired point blank to her stomach and chest over and over but her skin was too dense to be harmed although it did sting a lot she was disciplined enough not to show it. She cooly persed her lips and blew an orange smoky breeze into his face and the swat member fell asleep in her grip, no longer a threat to her or anyone else. She dropped him easily and began to run in a heavy gallop towards her next target.

(You guys don't always have to post something this long. I was just getting the scene created. Looking forward to seeing how you react.)

Seraphina White
Seraphina woke up, squinting her eyes as a ray of sunlight rested on her face. She sat up looking around her spacious room that could shelter a family, everything was still and quiet. She stood up to get ready, there is so much work waiting for her back at W Corp, the corporation owned by the Whites which provides security to the citizens of New Grand City.

Born in wealth, Seraphina didn't experienced normality. She wasn't given a chance to choose her future, she was raised to be a successor, thought how to be wise, strong, and influential. She had to surround herself with hypocrites and act like one but despite all of that training, she inherited kindness and sense of justice from her mother. Although that kindness resulted to tragedy years ago, it still remained somewhere inside her.

After she got dressed, there was a knock on the door. "What is it?" her voice was feminine but you could feel a sense of power in them. "Miss...you should see the news."

She walked out of the room and went straight to the living room where Annie, her secretary stood. Her pale blue eyes rested on the shadowy figures caught on camera, there is no doubt that those are Egos. Is Nighthaven attacking the city again? She was thinking and calculating the scene as she stared at the screen. "Call for the car..." She said to Annie.

She put her thumb finger on the bracelet device on her wrist, it scanned for a second before small hologram screen appeared. "Call Wesley..." She said heading to the door. As soon as the first ring, the call from the wrist device was connected, "Deploy swat teams to the scene, the police won't suffice to control those things..."

A man in his 20's appeared on the small screen, "Neither our swat team would be able to fight those head on, Miss...Have you seen the footage? We'll be sending those man in their grave" Wesley said nervously. Seraphina just had been appointed as Head of the Security a few weeks ago and she hasn't proved anything yet which makes Wesley or any other employee in the corporation doubt her ability to lead. This will be her first time commanding on scene.

"They're not there to fight on their own...send them as a back up" She said walking out the door with Annie following behind. She looked back at her saying to stay right there. The secretary didn't move as she walked out of the house. She could hear the explosion from where she stood, if it is Nighthaven, she had to meet them.

"Who are they backing up Miss? Did you send someone in the scene?" She frowned at him, getting tired of his questions.

"Do as I say.." She said with finality before cutting the line. Since she had been chosen, she had trained herself to match Daeva. She doesn't want to be someone powerless and pathetic during battles and this day is what she had been preparing for. She will meet the Nighthaven no matter what.

There was a car waiting for her outside the house, a man in suit waiting for her beside the car. "I'm going on my own..." She said and went in the car. She drove to the scene at full speed, as she gets closer the explosions becomes louder and stronger that she could feel the impact in her car. She stepped on the break as she saw a female ego approaching the swat team in front of her. With her eyes, she could see it was the same as Daevea, a demonic ego.

She jumped out of the car, "Daeva..." As soon as the name was spoken, a black smoke appeared in front of her. Seraphina could feel a bit of her energy being drained, it hasn't been that long since she had known about Alters and Egos and this would be the first that she would be fighting beside an ego and against one. "Stop her..."

"As you wish..." Seraphina felt as her ego face her with her eyes closed.

Daeva nodded at her and opened her mouth to produced black smoke to surround her. With a blink of an eye, she teleported five feet in front from Braxana, stopping the other ego to go further. With the bone sword on her hand, Daeva swung it towards Braxana.

Seraphina gasped, feeling the overwhelming power from both egos. She could feel Acknowledgement from Daeva which is a surprise. This just means that the ego they are fighting is strong that Daeva acknowledges her power. "Don't get hurt, Daeva..." She said before turning her heels to run the other way, Daeva fighting for her, she had to do some work too. She run looking at the city map on the small hologram from her wrist device. "Show me yourself..." She said as she searched for the Alter.

Sunny finally reached the site of the attack. She had to catch her breath, then she looked up at the scene. She had no place here, but those creatures were destroying everything. There was no denying it, these creatures were some kind of Ego. Not to mention there were two demons fighting as well, she couldn't tell who was the bad guy for now so she decided to stay out of their way for now. The police weren't doing too well, but that didn't mean she couldn't help. "I think I need your help Grunge..." She whispered. Grunge appeared from some sort of swirling, wet abyss as usual. The reaper Ego gave off an emotion of pleasure at the carnage, Sunny forgot that the Ego was some kind of incarnation of death. "Okay, here's the plan. We stay out of the way of those demons, take down those shadow creatures, and try to find the source." Sunny explained to her companion.
Grunge mental words always somehow sounded wet, but this time he slightly frighten her with his words. All he'd said was
"Darkness will suffocate on darkness and those who interfere die..." He said as he shambled towards a Lesser Arc Lord who was attacking a police officer. Suddenly he moved forward in a burst of speed, he made a move to smother the Lesser Arc Lord, not exactly caring if the officer was pulled in as well.
Sunny crossed her arms, she didn't know why she'd gotten such a morbid Ego, but she couldn't say she didn't like Grunge despite his morbidness. She also happened to notice a girl running away from the fight. She looked out of place in the fight. Being curious, Sunny decided to follow her from a distance. She was probably the Alter of one of those demons. Maybe she could clear things up?

(Bleh, I forgot it was my turn to post.)

Arriving to the site didn't take long Archimedes, since he already lived relatively close. This brought an uneasy feeling to him, being so near the action and the thought of it spreading out to where it could reach his bedridden mother. This has to stop here, he thought to himself then glanced up on a nearby building, where his Ego had gotten perched on top of. Agrotora stood from her spot, bow at ready with an arrow already locked in place. She gave a quick glance down at her Alter, her emotions sending the message of "Be careful."

"Isn't that what you are for?" He said with a smug look as he crept behind a car that had been tossed onto its side. From there, he zoomed his goggle's vision in slightly as he blindly dug into his bag to pull out one of his finished pistols. He wished the event could have just waited an hour or so because then he would have had two. Taking one more look over at Agrotora, he knew he would be fine with just two, her aim was very proficient in getting the job done.

Keeping the weapon in his pocket, using his shirt to cover it, he peeked out from his cover, occasionally changing the zoom on his goggles to get an idea what was going on. Who exactly were the baddies? He had assumed hopefully that it was Nighthaven but everything just seemed to be a mess. Just as he was about to just tell Agrotora to shoot at the demons since they were fighting and everyone else was sort of attacking those things, he felt urged by Agrotora to look in a certain area.

"Holy radioactive spaghetti bomb . . . Are those cops crazy?" He gasped in surprise, seeing some of the cops start breaking off with the rest and trying to cause some serious trouble. He could sense Agrotora asking for permission to fire at any cop breaking off from the rest trying to endanger the lives of the innocent. Knowing where Agrotora was at already, he raised a thumbs up in her direction, assuming she would get the message.

Now that those guys were picked out . . . What about the other things? Were they Egos too? Archimedes pulled his back up back on and started to rush over to cover that was closer, keeping a hand on his gun as he did so. So far their status were very unclear on whether they were good or not. He also didn't think his gun, despite how well crafted (if does say so himself) it is, wouldn't really do much damage to them. If they were Egos though, maybe they had an Alter like them . . . If they did turn out bad, he'll have to find the Alter to take out.

Alex watched quizzically as a young woman barreled through the intersection in a fancy corporate looking car and jumped out of the vehicle all heroically as if she was a knight in shining armor sent from heaven to smite evil doers. She had an air of superiority about her.

“Well she's certainly not an alter.” He spoke to Fangrey. “That chick seems way too self righteous and stuck up. She probably there to threaten the Lesser Arc Lords with a lawsuit or something ridiculous like that. She looks more like” then he gasped when he saw what looked like a particularly dark yet glowing female ego appear in front of the woman. And she didn't seem the least bit freaked out by it. The ego was approaching Braxana.

“Oh no. That's not a good idea. They are supposed to be fighting the Lessor Arc Lords, not the barbaric badass fire breathing demoness. She has absolutely no idea how to hold back.” Fangreys respons sent emotions of curiosity, anxiousness and other extremely odd emotion that gave of the impression of a dog humping someone’s leg, as if to say “Maybe if we are lucky they will tear some clothes off and we’ll be able to see some skin.” Alex turned and stared blankly at the wolf god for awhile. Fangrey shrugged and cocked his head towards them as if to say “What? They’re both hot.”

Daeva

Braxana was feeling increasingly bored as she turned around from putting another officer to sleep too see a woman getting out of a car and another more dangerous looking woman appear out of thin air about half a minute later.

The corners of her mouth turned up slyly. This would be much better than charming weak willed men into submission and telling them to take a nap for thirty minutes. Oh how her blood thickened from the excitement of being able to fight a strong ego opponent again.

The rival ego began to expel jet black smoke from her mouth and after a dark cloud had appeared around them the Ego vanished then reappeared just feet in front of Braxana swinging a sharp sword made of solid bone swiftly. Could she only teleport while within the smoke? The frontal attack was more than predictable. It was way too obvious. She was only testing Braxana huh? That was a mistake.

The instant the Ego reappeared swinging the sword Braxana leaped forward into her guard. She threw her arm forward and to the side to block the ego’s sword strike up at the wrist then threw her other arm forward for a powerful hook punch to the side ego’s head. If it connected, Braxana would cave this pretty little demonic princess’s skull in with the power of her atrocious brute strength.

Not too much after the first alter appeared another girl made it onto the scene as well. She was much younger and seemed to be very out of place in all the commotion. Alex feared for her safety when the girl suddenly called her Ego as well. This made more sense to him, she definitely looked like the type to gain an Ego, since her sunny disposition kind of reminded him of himself when he was younger and he first gained his own ego. But the type of Ego she had was quite a shock. A black sloppy, dripping, bone tipped reaper type. Or at least Alex assumed it was a reaper type. It definitely wasn’t an angel type or a godly type. They tended to be on the more beauty filled and graceful looking sides of the ego’s spectrum although the look of them had nothing to do with the strength of their ability or powers. Alex has always assumed there were even more types than the ones he knew of but he had never witnessed it in person. According to the extensive research he had done on past and present Ego’s he had good reason to believe that some well known figures of the past had indeed been Alters. The young boy king known to have pulled sword from stone and had a protective wizard guardian was most definitely an Alter with the legendary wizard, probably his Ego. Alex also strongly believed that the fabled Ali Baba or Aladdin as the disney cartoon movie called him was actually a real figure at one time, and the all powerful genie was indeed a Djinn type Ego. But Alex guessed that the Ego was not at all as whimsical and good natured as the cartoon version made it seem. Lastly, the most obvious case of an Alter and Ego Alex had found, was the infamous Dr. Victor Von Frankenstein. Alex was one percent sure that the Frankenstein's monster the doctor had claimed to bring back to life through a complex procedure of science and sorcery was none other than his Ego and probably just an superpowered undead zombie type at that. But it was all in reality, just theory and nothing had yet to be proven.

The Lessor Arc Lord spun on his heels flinging the officer it was assaulting around and into the sludge like Ego that was enveloping it from behind. The black ego creature was faster than it looked when it wanted to be but the Lessor were still faster by comparison. Two more lessor Arc lords appeared out of the air and landed as they stood there in a line at first looking at the black Ego.

Alex noticed that the police officer didn’t seem the least bit panicked about the lessor arc lords or the appearance of the new ego and although he had an automatic rifle in his hands he quickly whipped out a taser instead and stabbed it shocking the black mud and bone monster before ducking and rolling away military style in order to escaping from its grip.

“Even more monsters huh? What the hell did I get myself into?” He said with a sludge monster in front of him and black shadow monsters behind. He thought of grabbing his radio to hopefully call for backup. But would they let him? And would it arrive in time? And who exactly, would he call? Alex, Fangrey Sky, and the lessor arc lords watched the officer and the sludge ego closely, waiting to see whom would make the first move.

Egos: Braxana Vs Daeva
As her alter moved on her own, Daeva understood that Seraphina trusted her to block the other ego and protect the swat team behind them. As expected, the other ego stopped her attack - it was more of an announcement that the fight should be between them and let the mere humans live.

Her sword hitting the red demon's wrist, Daeva knew her attack was easily blocked thus proves her acknowledgement to the red demon's strength. Daeva could feel power concentrating close to her with her heightened senses and opened her mouth to produce black smoke to teleport herself away from the enemy to avoid the incoming attack.

As soon as the smoke appeared, she teleported herself five feet away from the enemy but not soon enough as she wanted, she felt the punch touch the right side of her face a bit. It was just a slight touch but Daeva felt pain - the pain that an average human feels after being hit by someone in the face. Only then, she finally opened her eyes knowing that she has to fight seriously this time. For a month being with her Alter, this is the first time that Daeva had met and fought a strong ego and as much as she doesn't want to admit, she felt alive and excited at the moment.

Her white eyes landed on the red demon, sizing her up within a second. With the black smoke still present, she teleported in front of the red demon and thrust her right hand forward fiercely, anticipating to pierce through her rival's flesh.

Seraphina White
Seraphina was alert as she runs ahead. The alter must have been near by but she knew with this numbers of egos causing chaos, it should be a group. She thought for a moment, if she could even stand a chance against them but she couldn't just hide like a coward and do nothing just to be safe.

She saw one of those fast ego at the end of the road that she's taking. She looked around and saw an alleyway a few feet ahead. She took a deep breath before sprinting towards it, the only way she could avoid being killed by the ego. She felt relieved that the ego doesn't seem to bother going after her, it could easily chase her seeing their speed but it seems to her that their full attention was towards the police and swat team.

She continued running when her wrist device beeped.

Wesley Calling...
Call connected...

Wesley's face appeared on the small screen but Seraphina didn't bothered to look at him and continue running up ahead. "Miss...the swat team are on stand by. They are two blocks away from the site." She nodded thinking hard to where the alter could be, putting herself in their shoes. "Fly a drone 100 ft radius around the site and connect me the footage." If I am right, they should be somewhere above. A good view of what is happening..She thought.

"Understood..." Wesley answered, "Miss...there's a movement behind you. Someone's following you..." She was surprised that she was being followed, she was too focused on avoiding the ego before and let her guard down a little. It must be a human or another alter, if it's an ego, she should have been dead by now. As soon as she turned around the corner, she halted and turned her heels. She readied her body for defense waiting for the follower to appear within her sight. ManyFaces ManyFaces

Grunge
Grunge let out a frustrated hacking noise. The officer had tazed him, the thick sludge that coated his body bubbled in response but it didn't really hurt. Sunny was on her own and so was he, however he knew how to take care of himself. Sunny on the other hand, worried him. The sooner he took out these odd Ego's the sooner he could check on her. If he could really adjust his facial expression he'd be glowering at the Ego's. Instead he made a horrid shriek, he sounded like a cross between an elephant and a person screaming. He went after the shadow creatures with his arms open. The boney blades on his arms seemed to push outward, then he rammed his arms together. Fusing and hardening them, the bones also changed placement to fully coating the lower portion of the arm, he now had a large sword. He swung his arms in a cross shape in attempt to hack them all up. At the same time, feeling as though the officer was distracted by the fight he tried to stretch a lower portion of his body so that it'd entrap his feet and move up.

Sunny
Sunny followed the older lady's move. She was careful not to make a sound and to keep her distance. The sight of one of those shadowy Ego's made her heart pound in fear. But it had no interest in the lady or her. She forgot to keep her cover and sighed in relief. She jolted straight with realization. Hoping she wasn't given away Sunny continued pursuit. She heard speaking and it sounded like the lady had stopped running around the next corner. She didn't expect to really come face to face with her, she looked like she was expecting a fight. Sunny wasn't afraid, in fact she would show her she meant no harm. "Oh, did you think I was going to hurt you? Heh, naw. I just think I saw your Ego fighting another and I thought you might know what to do since you're dressed like a business woman." She said coming completely clean with a smile. She hoped her explanation made sense, the woman did look like she was dressed for success. But she didn't really know if she was a good guy, she didn't know if Alters could really be evil or not.

Having Agrotora up high to watch over things below really helped out a lot. Especially to navigate safely through the chaos. This was just too chaotic, it seemed like there were more than two sides and as tempting as it was to test their abilities he wanted to get to the bottom of it. First they needed to find the Alters of the Egos. Already he had one clearly marked.

One of the demon Egos belonged to the nicely dressed lady. Agrotora had started pointing out the Alters and Egos, and so far it seemed like those two have been working together before splitting. Another Alter, or at least he assumed she was one, had followed the lady. As far as who was her Ego, they hadn't been able to see. As he got closer to the center of it all, he gathered more data of who was here, who was Alters, and how many Egos.

Current report was:
Three Alters
Three or maybe six Egos?
Archimedes had not yet learned that an Alter can have more than just one Ego, so he was looking around for the other Alters. The other three could just be the same Ego, and it just looks like there are three, but that still doesn't fix his confusing data. As he found a spot to settle, he pulled his pistol out and had it at ready just in case someone got uncomfortably close.
Occasionally he got messages from Agrotora, urging him to take a look at an Alter then a Ego. Potential pairs since they kept looking at each other, maybe even passing messages or orders.

"Another."

He sensed from Agrotora, and that is when he actually noticed the Wolf looking Ego. Which Ego did that belong too?

Updated report:
Three Alters
Seven Egos.

Still very confusing results but at least he was starting to make some confirmed pairs during the fight.

Confirmed pairs:
Fancy Lady - Demon Alter with the sword
The well prepared Male - Possibly the other demon fighting the Fancy Lady's Ego
The Girl who followed Fancy Lady - Still not confirmed, she ran off before data could be collected of interactions

"There's a drone . . . Shall I shoot it down?"

Archimedes blinked out of his thoughts from his Ego, he looked back at to where she was perched and saw she was already aiming. He figured she either hasn't fired many shots, or hasn't shot any at all and decided that shooting a drone down wouldn't be so bad. Besides, he didn't like the idea of someone else getting more information than him.

"Shoot the competition down for me Tora~" Archimedes ordered grinning slightly as he watched Agrotora go still, then fire at whatever drone she had spotted flying around.

Braxana wasnt as fast as the pretty face glowing demon princess plus the smoke and teleporting made it worse trying to keep track of her but so far, she had seen no reason to be worried. She was getting extremely annoyed with all her weak sword attacks and running away though. Why couldn't she just fight head to head without all this flashy fog and illusions? Where was the strength? When would she be given a true challenge? Suddenly the ego disappeared then reappeared and struck forward in an attempt to pierce Braxana’s chest with her hand. Braxana doubted her hand could do any worse damage than the bone sword had done. She reacted to dodge when she realized her body wasn't acting like normal. It was slower to respond. More groggy feeling. Oh no! The bone sword! It hadnt done much damage but that doesn't mean it didn't have a purpose. It must of had some sort of effect on her. Maybe a paralyzing agent or a poison that made the body weak on contact. Braxana fought with all her might to move realizing she had to protect her heart. The glowing demon ego instead stabbed straight through her dense skin with amazing strength, Braxana had moved enough that the attacked was left piercing her shoulder instead. Braxana screamed loudly in pain which reinvigorated her body to its normal functionality, then instantly snatched the arm pulling the hand out of her shoulder and grabbing the ego roughly around the neck with her other hand. She opened her mouth and belted out a wave of hot orange and white hellflame. But she had aimed it up, above the rival demonic egos head where it had done no harm. Then she started to giggle slightly, then a chuckle and eventually it grew as she threw her head back erupting in a obnoxiously loud laughing tantrum. She let go of the neck and stepped back slightly. She smiled and nodded her head in acknowledgement at the ego.

Alex let out a breath of relief. His demoness hated weak egos and would have put her out of her misery had she not proven herself strong. She would definitely want a rematch later though.

“I'm glad you had fun Braxana. That's good enough. Arc Lord will take it from here.”

Braxana waved a small goodbye to the ego woman then cringed a bit from the effort. In a flash she disappeared in a spiral of flame. Suddenly two Lessor Arc Lords dropped near. Kneeling it held up its hand with a note folded while the other stood guard looking around for any danger.

ManyFaces ManyFaces
The Lessor split up dodging the obvious frontal attack although it was faster than one would have expected. One of the lessor jumped backwards then into the air above the reach of the muddy ego. The other dodged to the right then leapt forward to slash with its scythe and the last lessor shuffled to get around to the back and kept going as if it had a more important mission to fulfill somewhere.

The officer saw the sludge monster attacking the smoke monsters and took his chance.

“Calling Nighthaven HQ. This is Officer Larkins. There are more Ego’s here than just the flying smoke ones. What the hell do I do?”

After a second of static a voice responded through the radio.

“Find the Alter. That's the person controlling the ego’s. They will be around the age of 20 or even younger down to 13. The ego’s wont attack if you have their alter. Find them and kill them anyway you can. The leader will reward you generously if you do this.”

Officer Larkins smiled devilishly at hearing this bit of information. “Roger that.” he said then twisted a knob on the walkie talkie to change the frequency on the radio.

“Attention all NGCPD. I have new intel. The monsters you see are actually being controlled. Descriptions of the controllers are adults between the ages of 18 and 25. Take anyone into custody fitting that description. If they resist assume they are hostile and dangerous. Do not hesitate, kill them immediately or they will call their monsters to attack you. I repeated if they resist, you are go to use lethal force!”

Then he remembered the girl that had been here when the sludge monster had shown up. She was probably one of them. He looked that way that she had come and attempted to follow when he realized his feet were stuck. The sludge monster had him caught. “Goddamnit!’ He yelled reaching down to quickly untie his boots and slip out running after the girl while the monsters were still busy attacking each other.

August August

Fangrey Sky suddenly got a whiff of something on the wind. He began to sniff the air around him and Alex noticed.

“You smell an Ego? Where?”

o-fIxPlMeqExhlXnkhO7vPHBquzsCePdTAO6NacwCIab_ojPHA3vIt90mljss2Y11lsK9WFUl9kz-nQ6IU8k4sprVsW3YUAuhRJ-0cyZvoGSQKa3y4fWqbb-nE77Y-4CGqvvGsl3

Fangrey sent a feeling of curiosity and turned pointing in the general direction of a building lower than theirs. It was almost twice as low actually compared to the one they were sitting on when suddenly he heard a loud clang sound and saw what looked like a drone spinning wildly, spark of electricity coursing through it randomly causing it to flash again and again, it descended down slowly at first and then dropped out of the air to crash below. A quick glance looked as if an arrow was sticking oddly out of it.

Alex smirked. “So much for keeping yourselves hidden” he spoke to no one in particular.

“Arc Lord send a Lessor over there. Find them.”

Suddenly the Lessor Arc Lord dodged the sludge egos attack and ran past it and the officer and leaped into the sky flying up and towards the building until it noticed the godly archer ego. Attempting to sneak up from behind her it readied itself for an airborne scythe slash.

Braxana Vs. Daeva
There was no slight moment that Daeva underestimated the red demon and she knew that she's at a disadvantage if it comes to strength. But knowing the difference between them just makes Daeva a good rival. Given that she's not the type of fighter who has strength as her main points, she just had to manage and fight with her own style with all her smoke and poison. She uses all her sources to be equal to her enemy.

She just had to make a small wound to the red demon with her sword that could at least slow her reaction to Deava's attack. It's a good thing that she had managed to scratch the red demon at her wrist. One thing about the poison, it's sneaky but it's fast in taking effect just enough for Daeva to hit back.

As she anticipated, the red demon's speed slowed down but fast enough to avoid receiving a fatal wound at the chest. As Daeva's hand pierced through her enemy's shoulder, she could feel the Braxana's muscles rejecting her entry. The red demon screamed in pain and shocking her own body to move, grabbing Daeva at her neck. Within seconds, Daeva looked at her enemy's eyes, thinking and calculating what's her next move. As soon as the red demon opened her mouth, Daeva knew that she would receive a full hit if she doesn't produce black smoke and escape from the red demon's grip. But she was surprised when the attack hit the building a few feet away from them instead of her.

Daeva was more confused when the red demon started laughing hysterically. She had never meet an individual like this. When her enemy let go off her neck, she felt another presence approaching them and was alerted. She had her eyes focused only to Braxana and saw the red demon giving her acknowledgement. Daeva felt relived and was now sure that this wasn't an attack, more like searching. She nodded back saying that she had fun as well before Braxana take her leave while the other lessors arrived in front of Daeva.

She watched them for a second before approaching to get the note. As soon as the Ego got hold of the note, she quickly tried locating Seraphina and sent her a feeling of relief when she was able to locate her Alter and that she's coming.

Seraphina White

Seraphina was still on guard seeing her pursuer. She just can't believe and trust someone just because they say they meant no harm. She knew this kind of act by heart and she can't afford to be stabbed in the back again. She's an alter but Sera doesn't think Sunny is a part of the group attacking the city or Nighthaven but she can't just let her guard down. "You hurting me is out of the question...." She said and saw the screen on her device flicker, for a moment the drone gave her a bit of sight but before it could give her real view, there was something that pierced through it and the connection was out with a blink of an eye.

She frowned and Wesley was at the screen again, "Something had struck the drone, Miss..." Seraphina looked at Sunny, she can't have this stranger to know her connections or movements
"If you don't want to get hurt, evacuate this place. There's no reason for you to follow me...." She said to the stanger before turning her heels and continue to approach the street in front of her. She thought for a second before talking to Wesley "Send more drones and see if they can struck it all down at once without me knowing their location...Also try locating someone in high buildings around the scene and as soon as you see one, send me the footage."

"Understood..." Wesley said before the line was cut. The local police should have at least evacuated the people around this area and there's no way someone would stay in high grounds and risk themselves being attacked. If the drones locates someone, he might be a part of the group.

Seraphina halted as she felt Daeva giving sudden unusual emotions, confusion and sudden relief.
"What's happening?" She muttered feeling worried about her Ego. "I am coming to you..." She felt Daeva saying which got her confused. The other ego was definitely strong and there's no way that the fight between them could have ended that fast, there must be a reason as to why but it that could wait later, she has to handle more important matter right now and that's finding the Alters. "Okay...come back to me.." She said summoning back her Ego beside her.

Grunge
Grunge suddenly realized the danger his Alter was in. He started taking this fight seriously. The sooner he got rid of the dark Egos the sooner he could get back to his Alter. That military man had just made a serious threat towards Sunny, he was not happy about it. Watching the Lessor Arc Lord's dodge and flit about he let out a hissy. Grunge began scrunching into the core of his being. He started taking the form of a large ball, then he began pressing out sharp bones. He now had the form of a large spiked ball, he began rolling in a circle until he took on pinball speed. He launched himself at the shadowy Ego's and could turn on a dime if they thought about moving, jumping wasn't too hard either. His aim was to crush the competition and move on.

Sunny
Sunny didn't know why her response was so cold but this lady seemed well prepared. Maybe people she trusted had betrayed her? She snapped out of her thoughts. She didn't want to leave as suggested. She felt like this was some kind of test, quitting was the same as losing and she didn't want to lose. Sunny felt a message coming from Grunge, someone dangerous was coming their way. Sunny walked slightly closer to the lady "Well I can hold my own, and my Ego is pretty strong too, so I think I'm fine." She replied. She wasn't sure her reply was heard since the fancy lady was talking to someone, sounded like a guy which wasn't too interesting. However, she was interested in the Ego summoned. A demonic ego with a bone sword, Sunny thought she looked cool and also scary. "Wooow... I mean you're here the same reason as I am I'm pretty sure. Also I can't go back since my Ego said there's a man that miiight want to kill me."

xNew Grand City
Eleven years ago . . .

The sun was nearly set when Alan stepped foot onto the dusty stones of Market Street. It was a late spring evening, and the afternoon warmth that lingered in the air was fading quick to the coming of night. Even with the winter jacket that covered his figure, a light shiver ran down his spine when a chill breeze swept across the alley. A cloud of dust whipped into the air and forced him to stifle an urge to sneeze. For the most part, the marketplace was desolate at this hour of the day. The prime wares were long sold to the morning customers who had flooded the mile long stretch of shops and tents. All that remained was the end of day produce offered at a fraction of the price in hopes of selling, lest it become fodder for waste.

“And they call this city the glory of the people.” Alan spoke to no one in particular. He voiced his conscious as a means to expel the draining thoughts that plagued his mind. New Grand City was the renowned place known for its innovations of technology far beyond the other nations. Feats of architecture towered high above the city’s populace. Masses of inventors daily showcased their quirky products. And high powered machines littered the streets and shops of the city. All, lustrous illusions that concealed the truths which hid under the veil of the evening sky. Alan watched as wearied individuals aimlessly wandered from shop to shop.

He hadn't arrived here for anything other than company business. Alan belonged to the a higher class of people in the world, he was an heir to the Typhoon Company, an establishment that trained top-tier bodyguards for the rich and powerful and he was expected to take over someday. Well that would be a longtime from now being as he was a thirteen year old kid trying to find his escort as he wandered around lost. As he stopped to occasionally look around for land marks of some-kind he was attacked from behind dragging him into a nearby alleyway.

Instincts kicking as he dispatched his first attacker with a swift punch to the neck. He noticed that it wasn't a singular attacker he was surrounded, thinking quickly he realized that escaping instead of fighting them would be the most logical option. As he was contemplating the situation one of the thugs hit him over the head causing him to bleed. "Thud Crack Thud Crack" Alan had lost count of how many times he had been beaten, he was prepared to lose his life when all of a sudden he felt energy surging throughout his body, giving him energy comparable to a mixture adrenaline of and crack.

He swiftly got to his feet and began a As vicious assault on his attackers and in a matter of seconds they were on the ground either dying or dead. As he stood observing the aftermath of the onslaught he had just preformed,he felt a tightening on his longs and collapsed on the ground gasping for air as the pain returned to his body. Beginning to lose consciousness he heard the yell of his escort approaching his location. As he began to pass out he noticed a tall figure in the corner of his eye and at that moment a name popped into his head ... Oni

The Present ...
There was a particular sense of luxury that accommodated the dwellings of the North Wing on the fifth floor. Whether it was the full kitchen stocked with a variety of meats, fruits, and vegetables; the grandiose rooms equipped with furniture of the highest grade; or even the lavatory whose bath rivaled the size of a small pool--it was obvious that Alan was a respected man, even if he seemed unreliable and absent at best. A shimmering beam of sunlight glimmered through the silken curtains and bathed the living room in a gentle glow. In the center of the room, Alan was seated in a meditative. It wasn’t until one of the windows produced a faint creak that the stream of concentration was broken and Alan exhaled a small sigh.

“We have come at your request, Young Master.” The one who spoke was the foremost individual. A woman, who like the four others was dressed in black leather–a raven-feathered musketeer hat atop her head, a charcoal veil around her face, and a cloak of raven feathers against her back.

“It is five hours before sunset. With the distraction of the hooligans who unleashed their egos within the city I estimate we have four hours before the chance is lost. I trust there will be no failure with the extraction?”

There was a quick nod from the same Woman who snapped her fingers and signaled an exodus through the window they had come. It took a matter of seconds for the group to clear, and soon, he was left in peace once more. Despite the gravity of his earlier words, there was little sense of anxiety on his conscious. The failure of the Black Feathers held trivial consequence apart from a minor set back and a twinge of annoyance. If anything, the events taking place proved far more stressful than a simple extraction could ever be. Nonetheless, he wasted little time dawdling as he wandered into the kitchen, grabbed an apple and a pear, then returned to the living room where he meditated once more. A little while after he decided it was time to meet the dimwits who were mucking up his plan. He made a call to his chauffeur and had him wheel a car around. When he had gotten fully dressed an entered the vehicle he told the driver to head towards the area where the disturbance was taking placed, when questioned why he simply said this phrase "I would like to meet some interesting people who are in my same predicament.

Archimedes

After seeing the drone go down, Archimedes looked back up to give his Ego a nod of approval only to see a glimpse of something get near her spot. Quickly he zoomed in with his googles, just barely catching the lesser arc sneaking up on Agrotora. He immediately sent a wave of caution to her, urging her to turn around and fire at the Ego. Unfortunately he couldn't come up with the exact angle of where she should have her bow when she fired from his point of view.
This was infuriating. Who was controlling that Ego? He needed to Alter right away . . . He could follow the ones from the ally, but now there was two and even if he had a gun, the Fancy Lady's Ego returned to her most likely . . . Or maybe the Ego was killed, he looked away for the last part of the fight.

Agrotora

Perched on the building, Agrotora only watched the drone for a split second before returning her gaze to her Alter. She hadn't noticed the Lesser Arc just yet until she felt a wave of worry from Archimedes, and even if her sight was not as on point as Archimedes's goggles, she could recognize the movement of him adjusting vision. Quickly she turned with her bow, firing an arrow.
While she did fire at the sneaky Ego, because she had just done a blind turn, it wasn't going to be a killing shot if it even scratched them at all. She had barely even seen the Lesser Arc while firing, this wouldn't be one of her most precise shots.
