and Qazi i do have a general idea, with the story staring slightly slow - just a tiny bit so everybody can settle in writing their characters. i'm thinking a seemingly normal job or perhaps a meeting at the ministry before,,,, something happens. i think the very first part will be figuring out what is even going on before all the signs click together.

and it's somewhat a mix of both? there will be light-hearted moments and the overall premise isn't grimdark, but there will be dark moments and sadness as well. a balance, hopefully!

there is so much potential for character ideas i'm so excited to see what everyone comes up with coz i know the talent here is ASTRONOMICAL

i'm eyeing the tech savvy hacker because i may just pick up an old idea i never got round to fully developing:

a grotty lil' goblin man who's just doing whatever he can to survive, even if it's illegal (unethical), and he constantly feels like he's on the verge of insanity from all the shit he's had to see. he absolutely has dirt on everybody but also knows how to hook u up with a good porn site .... or just a discount on concert tickets—whatever floats ur boat. i'm kinda thinking of adam stanheight from saw and trevor reznik from the machinist vibes (if anyone's ever seen either of those)
