this band holds the title of winter's serenade. they have been a band since their sophomore


year of high school. it all began with the drummer, who was looking for some chances to


play. the venues he went to all said that he needed a band, so he hung up flyers around


school, trying to find people. the first one to be chosen was the bassist, keyboard, then the


vocalist. they had some trouble keeping the vocalist on and able to perform, seeing that she


was not originally allowed to leave the house at all, except for school. they were forced to


forfeit some competitions because the vocalist couldn't make it. they lost their keyboard a


few months ago, when she moved away. they found another girl, who is better than the


original, and the band is stronger than ever.

Bio: Ashtyn was born into a family of lawyers who wanted her to follow in their footsteps. obviously, that's not


exactly what she's doing. Ashtyn's parents believe she is untalented and going nowhere with the music. They try to force her to be like them, wearing blouses, being prim and proper, and devoting three hours a day to studying. she is forced to sneak out of the house to practice, where she can be herself. Ashtyn changes into normal, dark clothes, puts on a lot of eyeliner and red lipstick, and takes her place in front of the mic. She lies to her parents about where she is during battles of the bands, but they know what she's doing. They hate it. Finally, after years of Ashtyn and her parents butting heads, they've come to an agreement: if Ashtyn wins this competition, she can do as much music as she wants and they won't impose upon her anymore. if she loses, though, then she quits music forever and goes to law school.

Bio: Lillie was born in London where she lived with her parents, older sister Bellatrix and little brother Atticus. Her mum is in a violin quartet and got Lillie interested in music at a young age. Lillie started to play the oboe when she was seven and can still play it now. At the start of middle school, Lillie's family moved to America to see her Dad more who worked there. She found it hard ro make friends and instead just kept her head down and studying and playing music in her free time. Lillie started to play the bass around this time and really enjoyed it as well as joining the school orchestra. At high school, Lillie decided she wanted to be herself more and make friends so she dyed her hair pink and didn't hesitate to talk about anime,comics, my little pony or Paramore . Lillie started to write her own music but was too shy to sing them so jumped at the chance to be in a band. For the first Lillie was able to make friends and put everything into practicing for gigs. Although her parents prefer classical music they are really proud of her and were the ones who pushed Lillie to go to battle of the bands.

Bio:


A normal person born in the wrong suburbs. Each monday there could be a suburb, and his family literally lived in the garage of an old man. His parents weren't drug addicts tough, they were just poor. He spent his time in public schools, with quite average clothes, what you'd expect for a low middle-class person. He was never used to talking, barely even socializing for that reason. He just didn't like that idea. At his 12th birthday, he was gifted some drums. Was that the best thing that had ever happened to him. He could find a place where he'd release the anger and troubles he had inside, making some great noises, and from there, he started to enter bands. He loved making music, and spent most of his time in that.


He was never rebelious or anything by those lines, always following his parents rules, but he still made himself some piercings and some tatoos, of course, as they were accepted by his parents. After switching by bands anytime, he ended up here, in Winters Serenade


Personality:


He is extremely silent, but that doesn't mean he's weak, or shy. He has no fear of expressing himself, and when he does so, he makes it blunt and quick, straight to the grain. His friends call him ''Soldier'', because of his eleqouent and respectful manner of talk. He is not very friendly, he'll most likely turn the other cheek on you, but, he's actually a good person.

Bio: Lindsey had grown up to be a daddy's girl from birth. So her parents naturally wanted her to have a good paying job. So they pretty much plan out her future once a year based off that years events and interests. Lets say they were far to involved. They didn't exactly know what Lindsey had been doing or had been getting detention at all so when they had found out they had shamed her but still wanted her be a corporate public relations manager. Lindsey had no one to really rely on so she had started to play the bass that her grandfather had gotten her. Over time she had came to love playing the bass and soon enough joined a band.

Daren grew up as an angry child that got him into tight places resulting in many, many fights defending his friends from those who weren't exactly on the top of his list. His parents were always MIA and didn't care about how he did in school. They wouldn't care if he didn't go to College. .Though when his mother had passed away and he was left with his now depressed dad. Daren had a little sister that he had to care for, since everybody in his family weren't in contact with his family. When he had gotten in contact with his Aunt she had given him his Uncles drums from when he was in a band. Soon enough Daren had learned and became to love playing the drums as they had helped his anger issues quite a lot, even though there were a few broken drum sticks here and there. When he had found a band that need a drummer he didn't hesitate to join, though when the band had became quite successful in competitions he had knew he wouldn't be able to take care of his little sister so he had let his Aunt take care of her since his dad wasn't able to.

Bio:

Jay was born and raised in Florida, his parents worked at a vinyl shop which doubled as their home. Jay only lived with his mom and his dad and he didn't have any brothers or sisters so he was an only child. Jay loved to listen to some of the more obscure bands on the vinyl player that his parent's had upstairs in their apartment; bands like The 5 6 7 8s, The Buzzcocks, White Town, Butthole Surfers, and many more. At age 12 Jay began to start and shape up the Jay he is now, he studied how people in the vinyl shop dressed and how they acted; this is where his strange dress style comes from, and most likely where his melancholic mood seemed to form.

The vinyl shop never was a happy place, it was usually a dull and kind of foreboding place, but it had some pretty good business. People who came in always never seemed to be having a good day, they acted as if they had just had some bad news given to them and they simply wanted to be alone, they were probably in the shop to get some new vinyl to soothe their souls or something along those lines; and Jay picked up on those vibes and started acting the same.

Jay had later on decided to start a band with some friends in middle school just for fun, it didn't work out quite as they planned so they simply jsut held off until high school when they started writing good stuff and were actually able to play better. They have some good things going for them now, and Jay is wanting to keep it that way, no matter what; this is actually causing him some anxiety since he wants his friends to have great futures, but that may not be guaranteed. Jay doesn't have any real plans for if he loses the contest, all he knows is that he is going to go back and live with his mom and dad again until he can find a job.

Caeli was born to an enthusiastic Latin teacher and a lawyer. She was expected from a young age to study either teaching or law, but she knew what her passion was...music. She started staying after school for lessons with the band teacher, and when high school hit she got her first girlfriend and a spot in the advanced music studies program. When her parents found out, they were heartbroken. Until she moved out, she lived in a strange disconnectedness with the rest of her family.
