Lol. I'm used to seeing mostly teens in a lot of the roleplays I've joined. This is actually a pretty good mix, compared to what I've seen.

So, concerning posting orders, how do group RPs on this site usually go? I'm relatively new here, but the one large group RP I joined so far did not have a posting order set in stone; we pretty much posted whenever it made sense to. Would you all like to do that as well? Or do you prefer to take turns? This will be after everyone gets a chance to post their intro, btw.

Well, it usually depends on whether you interact with others. Posting orders can only be properly built when you have high coordination with your fellow players and their schedules match up, so far the only time this worked in my experience when I did an RP with some friends with whom I coordinated through Discord.

Oh, I wasn't thinking about a posting order that was THAT organized. Mostly what I've seen on other sites is that you have a list of names, and the order those name show up is the order you post in from then on. It's usually set by the intro order. It didn't ever require scheduling and coordinating, the way we did it. These RPs, however, did have the problem of getting held up if a person gets too busy, because then everyone has to wait for them to respond, unless that person agrees to be skipped.

That's why some RP's have a rule that a GM can take over if they have to wait more than 3 days for someone to post, but those RP's are daily postings

I've done something like that before. It works alright.

But I suppose for now, we can probably go without an order, yea?

I think so yeah, just an order for interacting groups, before two people react to each other constantly and the third person is left with 7 posts to react to whilst their character was there

As a rule of thumb, I'd say one ought to wait until a reasonable number of other players get the chance to react before taking another turn. A person doesn't have to wait for EVERYONE to go before they can post again, but at least, like, 2/3 of the members, unless it makes sense to do fewer.

Reopening the search board could be an idea, get more intrigue flowing. I'm in another RP with Line and they're active there so I have no clue why they're quiet towards you.

cosowarrior I've edited Dr Valhein again and I've changed the dates to work better with your lore. I've left it ambiguous as to how Dr Valhein was revived from his cryopreservation, so we can say he's a survivor if we want, but he won't know it just yet.
