"Vivaldi would be thrilled to see you again, Alice. She's missed you almost as much as Peter." Ace grinned, gesturing towards Peter who had taken to glaring at the knight again. "Why not go have tea with her."
"The Queen will only take away all of Alice's attention! That simply won't do." Peter shook his head, putting an arm around Alice's shoulders. Ace smiled and looked at Alice.
"Ya know you could always just come on an adventure with me, Alice. It'll be fun, like old times!"
"She will go nowhere with you, filth." Peter snapped, on the verge of drawing his gun again. They stood there glaring at each other before looking at Alice.
Orin blinked and snorted, covering her mouth to stifle the laugh she just barely held back. She couldn't hide the amusement written clearly across her face though.
"If you're the scariest my brain can come up with then I need to watch more horror movies." she snickered, taking a deep breath. Once she was sure that she wouldn't burst into laughter again she looked back up at him, "Well, maybe you can give me some answers. How did I get here? Not here," she gestured around them, "but...in Wonderland."
