Realistic or Modern Alder High

One of them walked away from the others and stood next to her for a second. Artemis kept waiting for him to say something but he didn't. He just looked at her, smiled and walked away. She was at least expecting him to tell her to move out of the way or make a rude remark. But he just left. She frowned after him. This school was just full of freaks and creeps. Artemis couldn't wait to leave this school and never come back.

"Alright. I'm heading to class." She says and begins to walk away. Once she gets to the classroom she sits down in the middle of the room and sets her stuff beside her.

Aria: school was about to start. "See you around," I said and walked away to my locker.
Aria: I grab what I need for English and sit in the middle of the room. I hid my phone in my desk.

Start as you mean to go on, Artemis thought to herself, as she slunk into her English class on time for once. She went to the back of the room even though every seat there was occupied. She walked over to that weird girl that she'd seen earlier. The girl looked half asleep. Artemis slammed her hand down on the desk to wake the girl up and scowled at her.

"Get out of my seat. Now." she scowled. She was determined to have that seat.

Aria: I get a text from my parents saying that they won't be able to see me during thanksgiving break. UGH! They blew me off again. They TEXTED me. They didn't even call. I turned my phone off angrily.

The stupid girl looked upset. What was she, five? Artemis had only asked her to get out of her seat. Artemis slid into her newly claimed seat and leaned back. Nobody would bother her now, she was sure of it.

Crystal notices what Artemis did and rolls her eyes standing up. "Just because you think your cool Artie doesn't mean you have to be a douche." She states and glances at her.

"Just because you think you're cool, whatever your name is, doesn't mean you have to be nice to everyone." Artemis said, mockingly. She rolled her eyes.

"And it's Artemis!" she added, as an afterthought.

Brenden walks into the English class and takes a seat close the Kyler. He could tell she was feeling a bit upset and he wanted to make her feel better. He gives her a kind smile and takes off his hat, leaving his hair in a mess. "Are you okay?" He asks her quietly, trying not to startle her.

Crystal shakes her head. "Oh I don't think I'm cool at all. And I'm not being nice to everyone. I'm not nice to you am I? Because if I am then that's a huge problem." She says. "And no, I totally think it's Artie."

Teagan sighed before taking the last puff of her cigarette, throwing and stomping it out on the ground then heading inside the school's building. It was her first day of Senior year yet, she wasn't too excited. The only thing she was happy about was not coming back to the dump that was Alder High.
Who the hell even came up with the name "Alder High?" she thought to herself as she walked to her locker. She could hear people calling her name and saying "hi" to her but she ignored them. She wasn't in the mood to converse with anyone today. The only thing she was focused on was how many days left until the last day of high school. She looked down at her schedule for her locker combination then proceeded to open and put her jacket away. She grabbed a simple notebook and pen then walked to her first class. English, she thought to herself, as she walked towards the class. Considering Teagan didn't really go to any classes her Freshman year but still managed to pass, they held her back a English which meant she was taking Junior English and not Senior English in order to graduate this year, with the rest of her Senior class. She walked inside the classroom and looked around for an empty seat. Immediately spotting one in the back, she took it. She sat down in the seat and looked up at her teacher, who Teagan thought was kind of hot. Hm, this should be an interesting school year, she thought.

"Get a life, princess perfect." Artemis retorted, "You're not clever." She put her headphones on and blocked out the girl's annoying whining. She did not want to deal with freaks today.

Crystal rolls her eyes and turns her attention to the girl who just walks into the classroom. She sighs softly as the class starts and she immediately takes out her phone, texting people she knew, telling them that there was going to be a party at her place after school.

Teagan turned her attention away from the teacher and then watched in amusement as the girls were arguing back and forth with each other over a seat? She wasn't quite sure. In her opinion, both of the girls were hot so why were they arguing? "Just make out already," she muttered to herself. Her hopes were crushed when they stopped their argument with a snarky remark from the lighter blonde. Teagan just smirked at them both and then turned her attention to her notebook and pen, opening it and drawing miscellaneous things in it.

Artemis spent the class like she always did: staring at her desk and praying that it would end soon. Every class she suffered through meant she was one lesson closer to the end of the day, to her senior year, to graduation, to moving far away from this godforsaken town. She hated this place and everyone in it. Especially that stupid girl who was so obviously texting her best-friends-like-forever. Artemis shook her head. She knew that girl's type. There was another girl too. A girl who had been watching her but was now doodling in her notebook. Artemis made a silent vow that she would hate them both till the end of time. Then, she returned to staring at her desk.

Crystal turned to the girl who was doodling something and smiled. "Party at my place after school. You can come if you'd like. You can come too Artie. That is unless you hate me too much. There's going to be food, a pool, dancing, and a bonfire." She says, though she's looking at the girl doodling in her notebook the whole time.

"I hate all of the above with the exception of food." Artemis said, "Maybe, I'll grace you with my presence." 'Cos everyone knows that Artemis is a party queen, she smirked silently to herself. She might as well go. It wasn't like she had anything better to do. And hey, maybe she could piss that girl off further.

Crystal puts on a fake smile for Artie. "There will also be alcohol." She adds and turns to Brenden and Kyler. "You guys are invited to. Bring swim suits though if you wanna swim."

Teagan could feel the light blonde girl looking at her as she drew. She had a certain look on her face as if she was saying "I hate you," but that only caused Teagan to smile. She liked when girls didn't like her. That meant it would be a much big reward when they actually began to like her. She could see in her peripheral vision that the girl turned away but then, a few minutes later, the other blonde turned around asking her to go to her party. "Sure," Teagan replied, "Take down my number?" She said her number out loud enough for the rest of the girls to hear it, just in case they wanted to use it for different reasons, but not for their teacher to. Although it sounded as if she was a punk, she didn't want to risk getting into trouble and then not graduating. Hell, she wanted to get out of this place sooner NOT later. Hearing about this attractive girl's party was the only exciting thing to happen today and Teagan couldn't wait.

Crystal puts the girls number into her phone and smiles. The teacher was just reading a book, considering it was the first day of school, so she stood up and took a seat next to the girl doodling. "Sow what's your name? I know you from somewhere, but I can't remember your name." She says.
