The embrace was two-fold, one he actually did like holding her close to him...but two was much more dark...The second reason was that he didn't want her to see his face, it was contorted by the darkness in his heart. His mind was swimming with inner rage, darkness and bloodlust that had came from finally knowing what had made Haru closed off emotionally, that had made her feel this way about herself, not able to trust her feelings...That was unforgivable.

Megumi hopped up into the chariot beside Alexander, not taking her hand off of his. "Where do you plan on taking us?" She asked, looking up at the taller man with a warm smile.
Alice's eyes widened at the mention of an Imperial Arm that could bring back the dead. "Are you serious? Do we need his body? Does he have to be in one piece?" She asked frantically, her eyes shining with hope. If they could bring back Santios then everything would be better. But as she stated, there were a few problems; the body was missing and the head was not connected to the body.

"Let me see if I caught all that umm yes I'm serious ,yes we need his body ,and no it does not need to be in one piece. Kiri is the only family I have left I've been trying to rescue her for a couple of years and I've got it pretty much figured out but I need some help. And I know that if we can get santios's body kiri would be more than happy to bring him back no matter the condition his body is in" he looked to be pleading with them but noticing the giant man who wanted to join he didn't think they would need much help anymore just send him in to cause ax-weilding mayhem "um hi..." Aero waved back hesitantly "ok I guess that's two people in for it...anyone else..." He asked not counting avyn her being an imperial arm and all he had listened to the conversation between Alexis and the newcomer "don't worry Alexis Lyra knows her way around so you don't need to come"

Alexander feels her hand on his leg, and he grins, as looks unto her beautiful eyes.


"You know, I guess you're right. If it wasn't for the assassins, I probably would have never met you like this. And we would have never been able to be together. "


Suddenly, he pulls her up close to him, and he kisses her on the lips, looking into her eyes, trying to figure out Megumi. She was so beautiful, and Alexander loves her so much. Why? He made his answer quite simple, and answered with an everything as he kisses her again.

Megumi was about to reply to her lover until she was suddenly pulled close and kissed. She stared back into his eyes but quickly closed her eyes. She let out happy sigh and shifted herself into his lap. His kiss filled her with joy everytime, and it never got old. After a few more moments of kissing she pulled away and pressed her forehead against his. "I love you so much."


Fujio chucked and patted her back. "Agreed. Roughing up some guards sounds good right now!" He said, walking down towards Sin's room. Knocking on the door, he waited a few moments but got no reply. "It seems he isn't here. Let's keep looking."

If in the past, she'd push him away immediately, now, she can't find it in herself to do so because... she can't explain it. There was this nice feeling in her chest that comes with him hugging her. She could feel her cheeks heating up again. She felt vulnerable yet safe, but this side of her was only something she'd show to him. She doesn't care if others see her as cold or heartless as long as to him, she wasn't.


"I shouldn't stay here too long. I don't think your friends are to happy about me being here." she said, her voice slightly muffled on his chest.

That's right. What was wrong with her? She never allowed Aero to beat her like that. That's why they were always fighting. "I guess I was a little out of it earlier. Must be the side effect of having amnesia and living two lives." She bended down slightly so Kiri can reach her. "Yeah, you did." she said, remembering a time when Kiri was complaining to her about her height. She ruffled the girl's hair as well. "I'm going to meet your brother tonight and talk about the plan."

Kiri cringed at the ruffling of her hair then smiled up at Lyra "ok be safe and don't do anything stupid" she hugged her one last time before she left then curled up in her blanket hugging her imperial arm looking into the cell next to hers she found a prisoner lying on the ground paralyzed and poisoned she sighed "I keep telling you people not to touch it it's mine and it only likes me and my friends. That's what you get for trying to steal it. Humph!" She faced forward towards the door of her cell awaiting her reunion with her brother finally she was getting out of this hell hole

Alexis nodded slowly at his next question, "Yea. I tended to most of their injuries after the interrogators were done with them, I know my way around there well." She replied. She arched a brow questioningly and asked "You're not thinking what I'm thinking you are, are you?" Before adding shortly after "If you are, I'm sorry to say but there's no way I'm fit to go anywhere near combat. Despite having been in a coma for three days I'm still recovering, sorry. Downside to having to use my trump card and such."

Krieg watched as Avyn swam in the air with his head tilted slightly, wondering just how she was floating like that. He tore his gaze away from her and looked over at Aero when she pointed, assuming that he was who he asked about. He waved at him with the hand that as holding his axe "HI AERO!" Put the axe down you idiot, he's going to think you're crazier than he already does.





Krieg groaned and put the axe down in his lap and resumed waving excitedly momentarily before returning his attention to Avyn. "HOW FISH LADY FLOAT? NO WATER HERE." He asked, genuinely curious about something other than the best way to 'decorate' the ground.

"Oh, no no miss!" Katsukou quickly replies Alexis. His eyebrows are up high in surprise. "Nothing like that. You are still recovering. I just wanted a map of the area since we are going, but it seems that Aero has that covered." He looks over at Aero. "Plus, the fewer people, the better I would say. This is a stealth. A lot different than Alice's rescue." At least he hopes it is.


Katsukou hesitates before he talks again. "I guess Avyn and I are going. What's the plan, Aero?"


Meanwhile, the floating Teigu lets out a giggle at the big man's question. What a simple man he is but he is interesting looking one. The reason why she is even here is because the oddness of him all. That is all.


"Don't worry how I float, Krieg! Unless," Avyn sings the last word. Her smiles turns to a sly grin, "You tell me of that mask of yours, dear."

Alexander feels her now pressed up body against his. He wraps his arm around her lower back, his hands gently pressed on her back. His blonde hair was slightly wet, but it just barely covered his eyes when he looked down at her.


"You don't have to describe them, I already understand what you feel."

Alzie nodded as he fexs his wrists, sighing as he looks at the small rip in his suit.
"Santios's Diasla, the younger brother of Gilroy Diasla, and the leader of the Revolutionary Army. He is dead, sadly, but it can't be undone. Oh no, not today. Sadly, that isn't the only death. Tristan, a young lad who joined just a few weeks ago, Takume, the big black iron one. By the way, your mother is just fine, if you wanted to know."

Francesca sighed in relief. He mother fine and safe. It's not some random rebel spy that told her this, but the teigu owned by the leader of the revolutionary army herself. Suddenly, Francesca want to go and joined her mother in the South. But no, the Night Raid needs her help. They lose so many members in a very short time.


"Lost so many, but you gained a lot of new members too, right? I heard the news." Francesca paused. Alzie just said something unusual, right? "What do you mean by 'not today'? Do you mean you can... bring back the dead?"

Alzie only grins as he walks to the window.


"You are definitely one of the best at picking up hints, I can promise you that. However, I am not able to say anything. The mistress saidnto only check on you, and to make sure that everything you need is at your disposal. When will you have the map of thi base ready?"

Megumi smiled up at Alexander, sliding her hands away from his neck and down to his chest. "Do many people come around these parts?" She suddenly asked, taking a deep breath in and sighing quietly. "I'd hate for someone to find us like this..."

Alexander grins, shaking his head.


"This is one of the most secluded and secret hot springs in these parts. I dontbthink anyone is going to bother us today."


Alexanders hands start to slip down her back as well once her hands touched his chest, the hot spring water's vapor covering the two from the outside.

"Good." Megumi said softly, her voice just above a whisper and her eyes closing in bliss. "I want to spend some time with you, alone. I'm glad no one will find us." The pain in her foot had gone numb, the soothing and warm water taking away any feelings of pain and annoyance. All that was left was a warm feeling inside of her, and the feeling of Alexander's body.

Krieg grinned behind his mask at Aero's reaction to his waving. He liked when people got nervous, it meant they feared him if only slightly, and fear meant he was liked in his warped little mind. His expression changed into a slightly depressed one when Avyn refused to tell him how she floated, "BU-" he began but was soon interrupted by her asking about his mask.


A fuse went off in his mind like a stick of lit dynamite, his breathing grew heavier and more labrous as he gripped the side of his mask with one hand, his eyes wide with anger, his hidden face growing more psychotic by the second. Why did she have to ask that of all things? Why couldn't she have asked about the axe...here we go again.. the voice sighed. As it did Krieg snapped entirely, he stood in one fluid motion with his axe in one hand, his other still gripping the mask tight enough cracks started to appear.


He gripped the axe tightly, his knuckles turning white. Memories of that fateful day resurfacing, "NO! NO NO NO!" He roared smacking his palm against the mask repeatedly. "GET AWAY! GET AWAY!" Krieg bellowed, swinging madly at empty space in front of him. His vision eventually turned to Avyn, "YOU! YOU DID..THIS..TO ME!" He shouted pointing at her frantically with his axe.


With one giant step forward he swung at her but seemed to stop short of making a deep cut, only leaving a small scratch. His axe stabbed into the floor as he knelt on the floor, still clutching his mask, his breathing slowing down and becoming more stable. Slowly his hand slid down from his mask and he moved himself into a sitting posistion, he tilted his head up and looked at Avyn.


"I'm..sorry you had to see that. He-I don't really know how to control myself sometimes, and the mask is a bit of a...touchy subject to say the least." Krieg spoke, his voice far far calmer than usual, but still deep. "Though, for however short, I must thank you for allowing my..calmer..side to surface. Allow me to greet you in a more intelligble manner, I am Krieg. Krieg Stein. I was sent here after HQ said you needed..replacements." He continued, smiling warmly from behind his mask.


He stood and left the axe in the ground, afraid it would trigger his more...destructive personality earlier than he hoped.

Alexander breathes in Megumi's essence, his body relaxed. His small cuts and scars were already fading away from the soothing touch if the water, and also the soft touch of Megumi comforting him. The heavy fog thickens around them, shielding them from any view. Alexander leans in, whispering to Megumi as he kisses her neck.


"It'll be just you and me."

"Tonight." Francesca replied. "The west park, near the place that you guys destroyed when you first attack the city. Remember? I can't stay out long, so i'll just hide it somewhere there."

Avyn is not expecting for the huge man to act like this. There is no time to think and the mermaid quickly dodges the wild swing of the deadly saw Teigu. She can hear Katsukou behind her screaming at her? For her? The saw cuts through her just below the ribs. She stares at the blade as it pulls out of her and to the floor. When did Katsukou come up to her back? She wonders as she sinks lower to the ground. Katsukou catches her in his arms.


The living weapon just nods blankly a the calmer Krieg. She feels a bonk on her head.


"I'm sorry for her behaviour, Mr.Krieg," She hears her master apologies. This close to him, she can feel the too fast beat of his heart. "It is a pleasure to meet this side of you. Not that your other isn't!" He pauses. "It is good what triggers you now, and it's a good thing it is Avyn that took the blow." Avyn puffs out and pushes away from Katsukou.

"At the edge of the city," that's where he told her to go this midnight. He makes it sound so easy to leave the palace. Doesn't he know how questioning the people were in here? Of course not! Lyra sighed as she managed to slip past the guards. Making excuses wasn't all that easy. She had to make it convincing, since she was leaving in the middle of the night. She's not some high ranking officer feared by many and trusted by all.


She arrived at her destination: the 'edge' of the city were it was dimly lit and though people passed the area, there were only a few, and much less during the night. She stood in one shaded corner, her bow in hand if ever trouble came along.

Aero explained how there was another higher security prison on the other side of the city in the secluded valley where they would have Lyra transport kiri the group would then attack the caravan and Lyra would be the only survivor and in her frantic escape would 'drop' the key to kiri's cage when he got to the meeting he repeated the plan then told Lyra it was her job to keep as many imperial arms users out of the loop as possible "does everyone understand and is everyone ready?"
