Isaac paused then said" sorry for my foul mouth it's just given what my friend polin has told me there's other things with in the unit as well that make me wonder can we really be a proper unit and i hope the cap cuts you a break given how rough it's been lately".

Megumi stepped out of her room in the morning. Due to her foot injury her sleep has decreased more than usual, and it was taking a toll on her. She had no energy today and it was a miracle that she was out of bed. Walking down into the mess hall, Megumi didn't even bother to grab some food and instead just sat down at a table. I could use Alexander right now.





Alice was shaking slightly as Alzie went away. She was extremely angry at the owl for everything he said, and wanted to strangle him. It baffles her how the Teigu could kill so easily and for no good reason. Her hands were clenched into tight fist and she stood frozen.

Walking out of her room and towards the dinning(?) area to get some dull food although when she got there, the new face surprised her. Staring at both Chansu and back at the man, she raised a brow in towards them both. "Hello?" Greeting him with a doubtful tone, she had never seen him but no one seemed to be panicking over his presents so she presumed to not either. Continuing her -now slow and cautious- walk to the kitchen, she passed the man but still kept her eye on him when she passed, her aim was a boring cup of tea for which she began making.

Being rather startled by his now "stern" tone, she covered her face with her hands in surprise and somewhat fear, "I-I don't know!" Mari squealed, "I don't remember much other than waking up in a dark box and now.. here." Trying to not make any eye contact with him as she lowered her hands, "I was told to go to somewhere named.." Her voice mumbling the majority of the time she spoke to him, her hands feeling the velvet while still maintain a far distance from him. As her hands caught onto a paper she opened it, reading it "…Night Raid.." Glancing up at the man but back down at the paper as if she were looking for more information to read. In order to not have to look at him, Mari kept herself distracted by looking at her surrounds which was just a room the box was in which she was sitting in.

"Good morning." Francesca decided to greet her. She approached the table and sat in front of her. "I heard. How's your injury?"

"No, it's fine. To be honest, I agree with you," Max said as he let out a small chuckle and sipped some of his tea, "Mm, this is good. Thanks." He said thinking about what he said about Megumi. He just about took another catching of her, sitting down at an empty table. "Hey, Isaac, i'll be right back, i need to talk with the Captain," He said, as he took another sip of his tea. Max brought his uneaten food and tray over to Megumi's table and took the seat next to her. Max put the tray in front of her, seeing that she didn't have anything, and turned his head so he could face her. "So, I heard there was a big battle... Are you alright?" He asked sensing something wrong.

Rin looked at Chansu and gave a confused look, "So there was a big group mission...huh?" He muttered. "Well, anyway, this may be sort of late, but... Welcome to Night Raid!" He said a smile growing on his face. As soon as that person, he saw another new face come down the stairs. After she greeted Chansu, and made her way to the kitchen, Rin continued to feel her gaze, but as long as she didn't make a move, he wasn't going to take her distrust the wrong way.

Seeing as he backed up, she felt a little at ease as she returned back to the center of the box. "Mari… Short for marionette.. I think." Her hands placed around the puppet "skull" as if it were a special toy for a young adolescent, "W-whats your name?" Trying to get familiar with this stranger and would no longer have to refer to him as "that man" however a thought quick crossed her mind, "Wait. AM I at Night Raid?" Confused at her currently situation and the confusion was obvious in her expression as well.

As she made her tea, pouring the liquid into a tea cup, her gaze towards the man didn't break. "Who are you?" Asking him with a tilt of the head finally after staring at him like he was meat to a starving man, taking a sip of her drink. "I'm quite new myself so I've never seen you before, my apologizes if I came off rude." Realizing that her first question seemed rather blunt and rude, especially for a first introduction.

Chansu turned and looked at Arden. She gave a slight nod, notifying that there was nothing to worry about. Chansu began to speak again. "Thanks for the late welcome. Yep, we have a lot of new people since you left, apparently." She added, "Quite odd." She nodded and started to explain the mission. As of her nature, she put the story very simply. "This Alice character was captured by the Empire. The team went in to save her. It was a tragic mission, as well. We lost Santios and an unimaginable amount of people died."


Despite the depressing story, she didn't have a sad or any emotion, for that matter, in her voice. Nonetheless, Chansu was sad about the deaths that occurred that day. She let out a sigh and waited for Rin's response.

Megumi looked up at Francesca and gave her a quick nod. "Good morning." She replied, watching as the girl took a seat across from her. It's been awhile since the last time the two talked. Funny how I used to have feelings for her. Before Meguni could reply a tray full of food was placed in front of her. Glancing to her side she noticed that Max had taken a seat next to her. "Hey." She said with a small smile, looking back down at the food. "I'm fine you two, just a foot injury."

She caught the paper bag and was about to open it as soon as Lyra hugged her she was taken by surprise then hugged back for a moment before Lyra broke the hug and talked about her brother in a low tone she replied "ya he's probably pissed but I don't care you're back and that's all that matters I can give you the location of the night raid base if you want. ha these guards think they will get me to put my big bro in danger as if." She gave her the directions and pushed her out of the cell "go before a guard sees...and welcome back..." She smiled at her as she left kiri broke her fingers on her non-dominant hand to make it look like she was hurt but only after she took some major pain killers

Issac continued to eat his food his eyes glancing over at the other women before they turned away again, a flash back of the events of his and polin's past quickly flashed through his mind and said in a low voice" i know the empire does evil things but when one kills a normal guards family like that how are they any better".

Max looked at Megumi with an unconvinced look, "You may be alright physically, but I know something's wrong emotionally... And it's not the fact that I fell asleep during my paperwork..." he said, trying to add a bit of humor into her day. (Ughhh ik the feeling!!!!)


Rin grinned, "No, It's fine, don't worry. My name is Rin Kazumi and I've been off on a mission out of country. Nice to meet you," He said to Arden. When he turned back to listen to Chansu almost fell back on the chair, but instead, he just bit off a little swatch of skin on the inside of his cheek, "Santios..." he managed as he started to space off.

Chansu started to noticed that Rin was starting to draw off into the distance, and stopped her story. "You okay, there? You look a bit gone," she stated. The look on Rin's face and his single word of the name of their deceased seemed like they were good friends. Of course, that was just a theory. Chansu sighed again and waited for him to come back. She looked off to see Arden slowly sipping on her tea. "Is he okay?" she asked quietly.

Alexander was already awake before the sun was, his eyes scanning through multiple reports and paperwork. He nods his head as he looks at the time, quickly taking a shower and throwing on his uniform. He went down to the cafeteria, observing everything before spotting a few other surrounding Megumi. He walks over behind her, putting his hands over her eyes before looking down at her, smiling. He looks over at the other two guards, nodding.


"Seems as if you are all not new, but haven't met me. I'm the over watcher, Alexander Holdis, also the General of the Empire's west Division."

Listening intently to their conversation as she drank, Arden wasn't so fond of the new of Santios' death either but crying would do no good. The silence of the news casted over, no one talked until Chansu looked over to her asking if he'd been okay due to his unresponsivness. Shaking for her head, the news would be a heavy load anyone. Looking at Chansu and back at Rin in the silence of the early morning, Arden took another sip of the tea before breaking the silence by clearing her throat. "Yo, Rin." Trying to get his attention once more before continuing her sentence, "What was your mission for?" Trying to change the topic in order to continue the conversation.

Megumi shook her head to Max and took a small bite of her food. "I'm fine, I swear." She said, giving him a small pat on the back. "I'm just extremely tired. My foot is a bitch." She said with a laugh, eating more of her food. Of course this wasn't entirely true. Though Megumi has gotten over it for the most part, she still felt a little guilty about beheading Santios. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy who ended up on the wrong side. Or was it herself who ended up on the wrong side? However these thoughts were quickly pushed from her mind as her vision was blocked off by a mans hands. She was startled at first, but kept a calm composure. "Hello Alexander." She said with a smile, leaning her head back into his body.

Alexander looksndown at Megumi, smiling, brushing his hand through her hair. His eyes had bags under them, showing that he clearly took no sleep. He was too worried for Megumi to even get any sleep, the medics not allowing him to check up on her. So he stayed up all night, waiting for morning so he could check up on her.

Max grinned and looked at the man "Nice to meet you, I'm Max." He had to admit that he was jealous of Alexander and Megumi, but as long as she was happy around him, that was all that mattered. "Alright Megumi, I'm not to hungry anyway, so you can have to food. I'll go back to my dorm and finish the paperwork. See ya!" He said as he got up. Max looked at Alexander again and gave him a genuine smile as if to say "Thank you."

Rin had started to come back to reality at the sound of his team mate's voices, "Y-yeah, I'm fine..." He said, as he looked down at his shoes. When he did that he remembered a question he was just asked. "Oh yeah... My mission. Well, it started when we got these strange reports of multitudes of animal carcasses. it wasn't really a bid deal until a rebel army troops marched through to make an encampment and never came out. That's when the army got Night Raid involved and i was sent out there to investigate. After the journey, what I found was a secret hideout for the Royal army and illegal poaching and fur trades... I ended up walking in there and ending every last one of them." He explained, only moving a few times to adjust his hair and crack his knuckles.

"Thank you Max. I'll see you around." Megumi said to him, waving as he left. When Max had left she turned her attention back to her lover, returning his smile with one of her own. "I see I'm not the only one not getting any sleep." She said, letting out a little laugh. "Why don't you have a seat?"

Alexander looks back at Max, his eyes returning the favor. As the guy left, Megumi told him to sit down, something he would not argue about. He sits down next to her, his eyes closing and opening slowly before rubbing them with his hands. He looks over at Megumi, and kisses her in the forehead.


"How do you feel on your foot? It should be better right? I can get you more treatment on it if you want."

Chansu nodded politely. "Sounds like fun. Well, the killing of all that scum. The only scum I ever killed were danger beasts and stuff that tried to kill me. It wasn't actually a challenge, however." She smiled with her lips closed and stretched. "What time is it?"

Max got back to his room and sat down at his desk cluttered with paper. As he stared at it, he started to get frustrated for some reason. It just kept building up until he clenched his fist and slammed it down the desk. "Damn it!" He shouted as he leaned back on his chair. "I've been gone for so long that I missed the fact that Megumi has a lover..." He said in a quieter tone. He looked back down at his desk and sighed. "Why am I so frustrated..." He complained, feeling a bit pathetic, that he was in his thinking about his love life, when the assassins were getting more rowdy and extreme. "Fuck... Well I guess no one will miss me if i go out for a walk." He said as he stood up, ignoring his paperwork for the second time today (story of mai life... again xD ) and escaped the compound where he then headed into the forest.


Rin sighed, remembering the main room they were all in and how nice it looked before everything was stained red with the blood of his enemies, "Ahhh I'm not sure, I was awake all night and I lost track of time. Sorry." He said as he looked back and forth between the two. "But I don't think it matters what time it is... I'm starving!" He said, hoping to get his mind off of his buddy "What about you?"

Well now, that's reassuring, but she knew it. She's only surprised that her Aero said nothing to her the last time they met. That didn't mean he won't do so the next time they meet. Before she could continue the conversation, Kiri pushed her out of the cell leaving her with the coordinates to Night Raid's base. She returned the smile.


"It's good to be back." she said before locking the cell again and leaving. As she walked out, she gave the guard in charge a hard glare. "The kid won't talk, won't she?" she said nonchalantly, trying her best to act more professional. He only nodded in agreement before she continued on to leave the area.


Wearing a hooded cape, she walked out of the Empire and into the forest, bearing in mind the location of Night Raid. She wasn't sure what to expect upon arriving there and part of her wanted to go back. She couldn't face Aero after all that has happened. She failed to protect his sister. She tried to kill him. She spoke ill of the Revolutionary Army. What else? Lyra shook her head. 'What are you doing? You're not scared of that idiot.' she thought, trying to encourage herself. She stopped near the base, hoping she'd just bump into Aero coincidentally.

He grumbled before following her to Lyra inou pulled out two giant revolvers and aimed at Lyra "hurt my buddy and I kill you" she looked pissed off almost as if she was jealous but aero pulled her hands down "I can handle myself inou" he walked up to Lyra "I know that look only Lyra could make that look welcome back bitch now where's my sister" he wasn't as calm as he was before he had a dark energy emitting off him to the point where it was visible he was obviously pissed to no end with Lyra "I told you two it was a trap but no don't listen to aero he doesn't know what he's talking about!" He was beyond pissed
