Alexander drapes his coat over Megumi, his long sleeved compressed shirt being more pressed against his body. He finishes his shots as he laughs.


"I guess you're right, this is going farther than I thought. Maybe we should get back to your place before we black out."

Santios claps his hands, looking over at Aero.


"Hq said you could have an Imperial Arms? That's fine, follow me. This seems to be just the perfect time, as well."


Santios walks the boy down to the large Weapons room, and Unlocks the door. He leads him over to the Imperial Arms section, waving his arm at the crowd.


"Pick one."

Tremki looked to Alexis, he started becoming agitated "Tremki wasn't making things worse for Snow White..." looking to Snow white it was as if he was completely self unaware of what he was doing wrong. Once realizing Alice was actually mad at her. Slowly Tremki stood up and glared down at what he called 'Snow White' for a moment looking to Alexis "Little Dove~ Don't think Tremki is silly now." he said poking his tongue, Tremki knew that she felt bad for Alice..Although he wasn't certain that she would go so far as to try break her out he left soon after.


It was time for him to find something else to play with.

Sin looked to Santios and gave a quick thumbs up "Damn right, I wanna see what this 'iron man' has to offer...Wonder if he's what everyone makes him out to be." he said stuffing what he could in his coat, like always he also had his dagger stuffed in his boot. Looking over to the rest of the group, he sighed 'Never knew when it's going to be your last day..' this was something Sin made sure to tell himself every day. Looking to Arden, he eventually walked over "How are you doing with all this?" he asked, having noticed her expressions from earlier it was if something weighed on her mind 'Alice probably got to her too..'

Tristan looked to Iguru and nodded in agreement "Or we'll die trying.." looking around, it seemed that their odds were getting better in terms of them being able to pull this off. He was relieved he wasn't able to get to anyone here yet. Since he might not see all these faces again.

Megumi relaxed into the coat, grateful that Alexander put it on her. "I can handle it!" Megumi said rubbing her eyes and resting her arms on the table. She glanced up at Alexander and gave him a warm smile. He looks pretty good...

(I feel bad for him too. I immediately felt bad for telling him to fuck off, but it's my characters personality.)


Alice let out a small sigh and looked up at Tremki as he stood up. Is he finally leaving? She thought, glaring right back at him. People like him was the reason she fought the empire. They were brutal and inhumane, and they had to be stopped.

Rei watches the scene continue thinking the man the annoying little guy called red dog doesn't seem like the kinda to give up and there's something odd here i can't put my finger on it one thing is for sure this is not a normal guard unit can i trust the rest of them that is a question that weighs on my mind.





The servant asks" Are you ok master you seem to have something on your mind say wondering how to get use to your new life here maybe"?





Rei snapped out of her trace like state and said in a normal voice this time" It's true this a a new place for but there's other things, that bother me and i can't seem to put my finger on it".

Alexander grins as he looks at her.


"If I poked you, you'd probably fall flat on your face."


His arms push the coat closer so it doesn't fall off her, his head just above hers as he does this.

"The wars of many. I have seen, fought, and experienced almost every single form. We are powerful weapons, and I believe that we always raise the stakes. However, this Empire has been corrupt ever since I was made. We have to try to fix it at the least."

Alexis stared as Tremki left, making sure he actually left. When she did was was relieved, she wasted no time. Instead of summoning a clone she devised a more suddle plan to get her intentions across. "Alice. Give me your hand for a minute, I forgot to bandage your other hand. It could get infected." She told her, pulling the bandages out of her hand. She set to work unraveling them and steathily drawing a message on them with small fountain pen. The message read, 'Alice. I'm not quite sure how, and I'm sure your friends plan on coming to try to get you, but I'm going to find a way to help you tommorrow.' Short and to the point so as to not draw suspicion, she planned on wrapping her hand slowly so she could read it as she did. Pocketing the pen she quickly raveled the bandages back up, using her hand as a spool. "After that we can continue our talk, okay?" She told her, smiling.

Aero looked around he looked at each one decisively and carefully one shocked him and he dropped it back into its container "ow! Not that one" finally he walked up to one that looked like a sleeping girl hmm this one looks interesting he opened it's bag revealing several types of grenades opening his eyes wide with surprise and turned to santios "what's the name of this one" she looked so delicate but held so much power he was very interested in her now and was really hopping she would bond to him he smiled slightly with excitement. He looked at the grenades noticing that they were really dusty some even covered in spiders webs he wondered how long it has been since someone tried to use her as he closed her bag waiting on santios's response

Megumi leaned into him, her head resting right below his. "Thank you." She said, looking up at him and smiling. "I feel so much warmer already." She had never seen him this handsome before and she had a strong urge to hug him or something, but instead she just leaned against him.


Alice got to her feet and walked to the cell, holding out her good hand. "I don't see why you have to do this, my hand is fine." She said, lookin down at the bandages and noticing some writing on it. As Alexis slowly wrapped it around her hand she quickly read it, looking up at her when it was done. "You don't have to do that. If someone finds out you're going to get it worse than me!"

Arden


Oddly enough, Arden was rather in a daze for the past few minutes, not realizing that Sin was staring at her earlier nor listening in to any conversation that took place right after Santios talked about the plan which wasn't the best thing to do at a time like this. Arden had her eyes closed whilst leaning on a chair, arms crossed up until she heard a voice close enough for her to realize that it was talking to her. Opening her eyes slowly to look up at the familiar voice, it was no other than Sin.


She shrugged, "I'm doing better than I anticipated to be completely honest with you." Her voice seemed tired, almost as if all the news had worn her down but Arden was stronger than that. When she spoke, she didn't seem to look at Sin but rather down towards his feet so as she spoke again their eyes met after what it seemed a long time. "I guess this is the mission that determines your trust in me?" Asking him as she tilted her head slightly like she always did, "I don't believe that this was the type of mission you expected to give to me when you first said saw me, right?" Her voice showed little humor and sarcasm in it but over all, it was quite neutral much like her expression.

Alexis facepalmed mentally as Alice almost destroyed the entirety of her plan. "No no, it's fine. It's my job to treat people." She told her. Dropping her voice lower she whispered "Don't yell like that, that creepy girl will hear you. I know I don't have to, but I want to. I caused this, this would've never happened. I expected them to toss whoever was found into prison, not torture and execute them. This is wrong. Act normally, I'll work something out myself. I'm pretty sure I'll get in trouble for being down here with you anyway."


Smiling she nodded her head in re-assurance. "Now that that's done...what was it like with them, Night Raid that is, if you don't mind me asking?" She asked her, acting as if nothing happened.

Rei hear the prisoner and the guard talking and the sudden drop in the other guard in voice got rei thinking somethings off here i can't put my finger but this could be trouble the question is how do i go about this.

Alexander watches her movements as she leans on him, watching her lean up to him. That same feeling struck him again, making him even closer to Megumi. His face gets closer to hers.


"She's really beautiful, I knew that. But now that I'm up close... I can't believe it... How haven't I noticed this before?"

The Empire! Finally! After several days of being out doing errands for the higher ups, she was finally back. Unfortunately, she brings with her bad news. The tribe they were asking assistance from refused to help them despite her arguments. Why won't they fight for a good cause? Even though it might not have anything to do with them.. She shook her head, trying to forget about them until the time comes when she had to report the results.


She took the usual path back to the palace, specifically the road where the more fortunate people lived. Along the road, someone stopped her, a woman with a disheveled appearance, a frantic look in her eyes.


"Please! Please give me some food!" she begged. Lyra didn't answer. Instead, she took a piece of bread from her bag and gave it to her. The woman's eyes lit up at the sight of it but before she could take a bite, someone slapped her hands, making the bread fall to the ground.


"Hah! You piece of trash. Pick it up and eat it. Someone as dirty as you should only eat things as dirty as the ground." A man who she could only guess to be a member of the noble families taunted the woman but she didn't need his insults for her to pick the bread up. It seemed she was hungry enough to eat anything.


"Please Ma'am. Don't eat that. Here's another." Lyra said, replacing the dirty one with a new slice. She then turned to the noble. "Perhaps you would like to eat this." she said, throwing it towards him which only aggravated him further.


"How dare you do that t—" He was cut off when the blade of her bow lightly touched his neck.


"I can have you jailed for this."


"Jailed? BAHAHAHA! Why don't you go home to your Mommy little girl? Grow up." he said, laughing as he walked away. She only frowned at this. She hated people like him who looked down on others so much. With a sigh to calm herself, she returned to her walk back to the palace.

Alice blinked in surprise and nodded, taking her hand back. "I'm so sorry." She whispered, going back to her spot on the wall. "What was it like in Night Raid? I loved it. Everyone there treated each other like family, and I always felt like I was making a difference. I'm going to miss them all. Especially Santios." She said, making that last part more quiet than the rest.


Megumi let out a sigh and watched as his face leaned forward. Oh, is he interested? She thought, deciding on yes. Taking a deep breath her drunk self leaned forwards to close the gap between them, pressing her lips together.

Alexander sees her move in, her lips now on his. He closes the deal, kissing her on her lips, unable to stop himself. Her beautiful scent wafted around him, and he relaxes as he kisses her.

Megumi let out a little sigh and brought her hands up to his shoulders, not breaking the kiss. Took him long enough. She thought, smiling slightly.

Alexis frowned lightly at Alices' words, now feeling even worse than she did for what she had caused. Maybe it was just Alice trying to convince her to help her subtly, maybe it was Alexis trying to convince herself, but in reality Night Raid didn't seem any different than the Empire. Both sides did bad things for different reasons, yet only one was truely seen as evil by the majority of people.


Shaking her head she dismissed the thought for now. "Some of the guards are more or less the same..I felt I was making a difference too, I guess I still am, in a way. It might not be in a way I particularly like at times, but it helps some people in the long run." She told her. "I wish my parents wouldn't have forced me into training. I much rather would have preferred being a doctor rather than this." She gestured to her guard uniform as she finished speaking.

Lyra Kazumi

Lyra looked around once she reached the Palace's interiors. For some reason, some guards seemed to be in an uproar, celebrating something which she didn't bother to ask, simply because people were talking about it. They had captured an assassin of the Night Raid. It seemed a lot had happened during the time she wasn't present. She couldn't help but wonder who that person they captured was. Maybe she should visit her later but for now, the first thing she needed to do was report the outcome of her mission. She continued on to the area where the person who gave her the mission was.


An hour later, she finally finished her report, freeing her of responsibilities for the day. She should probably go visit her friends, or look for the person that helped her when she had amnesia. After all her pondering, she found herself in the garden, alone. She decided to just watch the stars instead.

Sin glared at Arden for a short moment, he was a little stuck on what to say and laughed slightly at her sarcastic comment "Being honest with me now? Something must be going wrong up in that head of yours." he said sarcastically himself, laughing a little at his own comment before continuing "If I'm going to be honest, I started trusting you when I see you in the forest..Guess I'm a sucker for cute girls." he dismissed the conversation almost instantly after mentioning that and continued "Don't get yourself killed, we've lost enough people already.."

Tremki made his way out of the Prison and decided to take a stroll around the city, having no real destination he just wondered through the alleyways and took in his surroundings. What he did do a lot was think about the other guards, a lot of them always gave Tremki odd looks and he had no idea why. "Maybe it's the color of Tremki's hair...Yeah that's what it is!" he said reassuring himself and jumped in the air with excitement as he continued down the silent streets of the Capital.

Arden was taken back when he called her cute, unknowing of whether to smile and thank him or question his sanity for calling her that. Disregarding the comment like his did, Arden decided to not question his sanity let alone her own. "Don't worry, I don't plan on dying any time soon.." Pausing as she looked away for a brief moment, "..but if i do die, I'll be sure to come back to haunt your dreams." She continued, now looking up at him with a witty smirk which was the first and only time she'd shown any type of smile to anyone other than under her own mask. The smirk faded with a few seconds of it showing, "Don't die either, okay?" Arden practically mumbled the last sentence to Sin, her eyes not meeting his at first but did as she glanced back up at him for a quick moment then back down to the side.

As Mizuki walked down the streets of the capitol with Susanoo, he spotted an odd young man with strangely colored hair just talking to himself. Curious, they walked up to him, and suddenly Susanoo reared back " I never knew the king had created an ocular teigu!" He says in disbelief. "Not hearing what Su said, Mizuki walked up to the boy and simply said "Hi, how are you?" With a charming smile. @Sinister Clown

Alexander feels her soft, fair skinned arms on his neck, her lips not breaking away, and he was happy with that. His hands embrace around her back, holding her close. He smiles as he breaks away only a little.


"I didn't expect this to come out from just drinking."


He states this with a smile as he kisses her again.
