((The only one with any real injuries is Suzuka, everybody else is completely unharmed aside from a few minor scratches on Kotori.. Also, they're not dull in the face, just lacking livelihood in the extremely calm or at peace kind of sense :x ))

"We don't need to get out of the dragon's attack range, as Yuko will never hit us. The closest Yuko'll come to one of us is a light tap with the fur on the dragon's tail. For example... right now." Kurou said, the dragon swinging its tail and wiping out a large section of the forest on the other side of them, the tail of the dragon lightly touching the furthest out in that direction, which was Akemi. Akemi grabbed the fur of the dragon just before the tail swung back up, her going right along with the tail and getting placed on the head with Yuko. "Aand... there my sister goes... Of course she'd take the free dragon ride..." Kurou said with a sigh, the first to drop the whole lifeless assassin feel to them entirely.

If I go neutral, I'll get kicked from the military for lack of dedication to the empire. If I support him, I'll be putting the last nail in the board needed to construct myself a new rank, and I'd rather not e put with any more responsibilities than I already have as a general..." Reveler was never a big fan of the way his own words could literally take him wherever in the military, as he never wanted a tongue that could put more responsibility on him just by saying mere words, nor get him executed for saying mere words.

"Well, I can say one thing... That kid's fit to rule, just he isn't being given the time to learn how to do so. He's emperor because of the Prime Minister though, who I've discovered brought the kid into a plan to overthrow the previous emperor... A battle of succession, which I heard was against the kid's own father. That's really just how the story's been told though, and not by the Prime Minister or the kid, so nobody knows exactly how it happened except a few people..." Reveler slowly let out a quiet yawn, yet another thing he was known for; being tired all the time for no apparent reason.

*Himeragi then finished her tea and asked the waiter for a refill as she sighed happily closing her eyes soon opening them again 5 seconds later*


''i had a...nightmare...last night...''

"What kind of nightmare, if I may ask?" Reveler had asked the waiter for a cup of tea himself, awaiting Himeragi's response patiently. Things seemed to be going down a simple path, talking about the corruption of the empire, talking about how the corruption came to be, and now they were at a talk about a nightmare that Reveler assumed had something to do with the empire. The waiter had returned with his tea rather fast, which he proceeded to take light sips from. It was a cold tea, but also rather warm. He seemingly enjoyed the tea, though in actuality he didn't truly taste the tea or anything.

*She asked as she looked at the general. She didnt know of his death yet since her father never told her about any kind of death upon the generals nor she ever saw him again after her 6th birthday*

"Funny, I was going to tell you after this conversation I'd been hired as your bodyguard," Reveler stated. "This here, is why I refused to state my opinion on the Prime Minister. He would've made me go be a high general with your pops or something if I'd said anything good, anything neutral'd get me put back to being a regular ol' general, and negative, well, execution like stated before." Reveler's death was rather top-secret, though those who knew how he was back to life were even fewer. After all, only the Prime Minister, Yuko, and the two guards of the Prime Minister knew of Reveler's death, and thus only the Prime Minister and Yuko knew how Reveler was still alive.

Kailain was cut short as the dragon came busting through again, taking another assassin with it. Kailain nearly laughed as the way in which she hopped on the dragon.


"Wait, I'm confused. Are we in danger, or are we not in danger?" he asked, turning back to look at everyone else.

"Yes, the one and only 'God-Slaying General' will be your bodyguard, starting half an hour ago in fact." Reveler gave a light and cheerful laugh, kind of light a little laugh between friends at a slightly funny joke. "So, how's the title I've bestowed upon myself? Does it suit me?" Reveler asked with a little more laughter, a genuine smile on his face that not even Yuko could truly replicate without putting him around Himeragi, who Reveler could never find himself in a bad mood while around. "You get to make the final choice though. Want me, or someone else?"

Kurou said. "As for danger... Well, the five- err... four of us of the team here on the ground, we're not. You however, Yuko has no way of telling where you are unless you're within the sight of one of us other five or in her own sight. It's hard to see you from up in the sky though, y'know." Kurou continued, having now informed Kailain why it was safe for them but not for him. "Let's just say for now, that the eight of us, if we're not including the one who failed to come with us and the one who's just for gathering intel, are able to share things via a mental link. Kind of the product of an Imperial Arms that came in the form of a liquid which we all ingested, I guess I can say."

"....Ah. Of course. That actually makes sense." Kailain said, offering the others an encouraging smile. However, in his mind, he considered cutting them all down where they stood.


In all the world, there didn't exist a single Teigu that could be wielded by more than one person at once. And none performed such a simple task as Communication. So they had lied to him about that. But how, then, would they be able to communicate with one another in such a way? That much, he was willing to believe.


'We haven't developed that form of technology...so the answer could only be a teigu. But which?' He thought to himself as he walked over to the others.


"Well, we should probably be on our way. The rebel camp is gone. The Empire is safe, once again. No need to destroy everything in the area..."

"The finest reasoning I've ever heard," Reveler said with a bit of a laugh. "Regardless of for what reason though, it's pleasing to be away from the job of a General while I'm as your guard. Not to mention, I get to be the bodyguard of a great person, which is more pleasing than being away from my duty as General." Reveler took another sip of his tea, seeming rather at peace now that he could relax from two of the largest worries of his now gone. Being a General was rather stressful for the average person, and then there's how he was always worried for the more pure citizens such as Himeragi, who didn't deserve to be put in the middle of this world's corrupt wars.

We'd be best off trying to kill him, but we can't very well do that while he's hiding." Suzuka said, though very bloody from the hole that bullet had left over her heart. It was clear her heart was still in tact though, as there would be way more blood if it were a fatal shot. Most would be unconscious or screaming in pain from such a wound though, yet Suzuka made it through by just using a cloth handkerchief over her wound to stop the bleeding from being too much.

If it looks like a danger beast destroyed everything, which one will have done, they'll be unable to suspect it was our doing as there's supposedly no way to control a danger beast that can do all of this." Kotori had finished off saying for Suzuka. After Kotori finished talking Suzuka just fell back, suddenly going unconscious. The others seemed a bit without worry for Suzuka, though it was quite delicately that Makoto picked Suzuka up. The dragon kept destroying the forest bit by bit, trying to both be rid of evidence the Empire was involved, and find the guy who'd previously been there.
